  1. Oxford Silver Machine -v- Ipswich Witches Oxford have the ever reliable Hancock and Ulamek with McGowan and Fisher abley backing up. Much is also expected from Pole Rafal Dobrucki who has already scored a 10 point meeting for Oxford @ Poole before getting injured, after a fortnight off, he`s come through a polish League meeting unscathed and he`s flying over from Poland today to make his home bow. Ipswich have Scotty Nicholls and Hans Andersen as main flag flyers but look short of power elsewhere, Chris Louis is in the twighlight of his career and the reserves situation could be the key failing for Ipswich. I`m going for a comfortable victory for Oxford. OSM -4 @ 1.91 with Skybet Other bet OSM to win by 5-8 points @ 5.5 with Skybet

  2. As the main spotlight is on Aintree, I think there`s a little jewel in the progressingKoquelicot running at Taunton. Last time out, he started as 10/3jf but had a dissapointing race in a quickly run grade B event at Sandown 6 weeks ago. he`s back in class D (2 previous wins in this company)today and will face stern opposition from Metal Detector and Pharaway Citizen. Todays 3 miles according to the connections is his distance and the bit of rain thats fell will help as he likes a bit of cut. should be a cracker of a race

  3. Re: Arena Essex v Poole Speedway i`m looking forward to this season belle and it`s a cracking match to start the live coverage :nana I agree its a bit of a tight track but after going around a few speedway forums theres a few Poole riders who have faired well in the past at Purfleet (Tony Rick, Davey Watt & Bjarne Pedersen). IMHO it`s also the season where the Brazilian Antonio Lindback could make a name for himself, he`s an exciting prospect and one to watch this season. AE have invaluable experience in Loram,Tatum and Barker and it`s a match that could easily go to the wire. I`m on Poole tonight and looking at the various hcap`s on offer I think -4 is a bit too much, so Poole -2 @ 1.83 appeals to me much more.

  5. Re: Garrigon Garrigon runs in the 3.10 @ Lingfield today. His previous few runs have only been over 7 furlongs where he`s fell out of the starting gates leaving him far too much to do despite finishing pretty well. Todays race is over 1m2f which will surely suit him better and as it`s a pretty mediocre race, theres not a lot to beat IMHO, unless he beats himself as he has done previously. :banghead :\

  6. Garrigon Agreed, if barathea dreams had a few more runs to put into the equation it would be a different story for me. The 1m2f distance is also a significant factor for me after seeing most of garrigons previous runs. it should suit him down to the ground

  7. Garrigon Fell out of the stalls again today and finished about 5th I think, I`m sure there`s a win in the horse somewhere. It`s been on my list of horses to watch for a bit but i`m getting a little frustrated with it.
