  1. Re: Mr Shrewdie's Double Chance Glory Hunt

    Bet 1 Queens Park v Cowdenbeath 1X @ 1.28 Grays v Stafford 1X @ 1.08 20point Double @ 1.38 :hope
    Not the best of starts, Queens Park losing 2-3, Grays won 6-1 Current Bank 180pts Bet 2 Paris S.G. v Strasbourg 1X @ 1.10 Burghausen V Reutlingen 1X @ 1.28 Lyngby v OB Odense X2 @ 1.14 15pt Treble @ 1.61 with Paddy Power
  2. Right, having mainly been a lurker for the last few years, I'm going to start my own glory hunt. I'm going to be backing in football matches on the double chance, 1X or X2, odds are going to be short, but I'm hoping for a high strike rate, betting singles, doubles or trebles. Going to start with a bank of 200points. Bet 1 Queens Park v Cowdenbeath 1X @ 1.28 Grays v Stafford 1X @ 1.08 20point Double @ 1.38 :hope

  3. Re: Some Betfair multiples fun I get you, I do understand the single ,back, lays on betfair, as I find it easier to pick losers than winners, if you know what I mean, although with a bigger risk. Please try me with the Lay acc, thanks

  4. Re: Some Betfair multiples fun ok, I can't get my head around a LAY multiple, for example your LAY Treble, if all 3 lose you win - simple, but 2 lose and 1 win the Lay treble is a loser? :unsure I would think that because its a LAY it would still be a winner, because all 3 didn't win. Call me a stupid cnut if you want, but I might try it for myself with a few £2's. :$ Good luck with this and the other glory hunts.

  5. Re: Some Betfair multiples fun stewart first time I've had a look at these multiples on betfair, when you put the selections in it says 'all selections must not win'. Does this mean that even if one team wins, you lose, i always thought a multiple was all win or if laying not win?? I'm confused or dumb

  6. Re: Mowgli77 Specialist Thread

Ivy Creek was placed but there was a rule 4, 10p in the £ so for the 10pts stake the return was only £6.75. I think I have worked that out correctly, if not would someone correct me. (5 pts at 13/2 divided by 5 (1/5 odds) is 7.50 then 75p deductions) :unsure Didn't expect many more for this flat thread but got one for tomorrow: Loulwa 3.10 Lingfield Finished 7th in a group 3 last time out but was only about 5 lengths off the winner and had a poor draw that didn't help. That was behind some decent horses such as Trick or Treat, Samira Gold and Queens Best. It has some course form when it was 2nd on its debut here over a shorter trip. It went from maiden to listed race and was 4th behind Dalvina that day. It only just failed at Newbury over 1m4f on heavy ground and eventually won a maiden over 1f less. It should get the trip no problem, has experience on the surface and has been 1st and 2nd for Seb Sanders who rides the horse today. I also like the look of Pivotal Answer and would be avoiding Marktet Forces as it faded badly last time out and was well beaten. Seb hit a treble today and can add another to his tally to chase Spencer all the way to the last day. Suggested Bets: 5pts EW - Loulwa at SP
Great work, 10/1 winner, I got 14's at Ladbrokes. :cheers
  7. Re: Fleet's Football Trebles 2007-08

50 ALDERSHOT 4/6 46 SALISBURY 4/6 40 HALIFAX 4/6 £60.30 staked in an attempt to return £279.17 perhaps try the BFair multiples section boss. you seem to have got odds of 4.62. Bfair offers 4.71 - or a return of 284.01 - another fiver (nearly +2%) if you can be bothered. suppose it's just ease at the end of the day. up to you fleet - just an idea.
I think other people have taken note it's now down to 4.46 :sad
  8. Re: System Analysis

Thats some odds for laying the draw in that game? Are you sure thats correct? Bet365 are offering 1/5 on the same outcome.
barrhead yes, the price is approx. 1.29 winner if it comes in, better than the 1.20 from bet365. mcgin looks interesting
