  1. Re: My Latest Sporting Odds Problem Just tried to deposit a tenner (min deposit) to play the dollar up tonight. Despite having plenty of cash in the bank, my card details being as before and the bank saying there's no problem with my account, the transaction was declined. A SO number appeared for me to call - it closed at 8.00pm! I got on the live chat and SO have told me that the bank declined the transaction, not them. Fair enough although Bet365 have just accepted a deposit! The whole system is fooked! Amateurs, who is and who isn't.......................

  2. Re: My Latest Sporting Odds Problem Yeh thats my approach GaF. Freerolls and the Dollar Up and thats it. Shame because I'd be more than happy playing there regularly for cash if I didnt worry about getting disconnected with my hard-earned sat in the pot. There's no way they'd refund the dosh so there's no way I'll play there. Good luck though Mr V. :hope

  3. Re: My Latest Sporting Odds Problem With respect to all you guys, why are you still playing on their site? These problems existed weeks ago and despite my complaints at the time, I was met with a very ignorant and dismissive attitude from them. Fine, if thats their attitude to customer service. So i've taken my custom elsewhere but I don't understand why everyone is continuing to 'put up' with it??? I couldn't imagine anything more frustrating than whats happened to you tonight V regarding poker but, as with my own efforts, your valient (get it!) attempts to get an answer will be met with the same wall of ignorance that mine were. Is it time for a well-worded PL email and a blanket ban until they can assure us that they are aware of the reason behind the problems and that they are in the process of fixing it? I actually like their software's gameplay (when it works) but if it continually lets us down, what's the point? Just a thought.....

  4. Re: **Poker Sunday 13th November** Just qualified for the Mini Final tomorrow with slapdash who's got a shedload of chips. GL mate. Gazza's through also despite being sat out for the whole tourney. He ended up sat right behind me so I just kept folding against him to give him more chips and so that he didnt end up all-in against me. :lol PLers stick together! :ok :lol Good luck V and thank you to Mrs V for that naughty little task you did for me earlier! I appreciate it. ;)

  5. Re: Q. for everyone... Some great ideas here for you cains. Why not set up a poll with all the ideas and we'll all vote for our 3 (?) favourites, etc. Good luck with your venture mate. :ok

  6. Re: **Poker Friday 4th November** Thanks Lady! :ok Thought I'd won it until he turned trips against my 2 pair but happy with 2nd and qualification for the final. Also hit my first final cash tourney table for months this morning as well winning a decent amount of dosh. I've struggled for months but have felt my game coming back this week and at last the results are reappearing. The months of frustration and head-banging :wall seem to have come to an end! :nana

  7. Re: Party Poker Freeroll When I phoned PartyPoker before they told me that you must deposit a minimum of $50 into your account to upgrade it to a real money account. This should happen instantly apparently. The guy never mentioned about having to play it first before withdrawing it.

  8. Re: ** Poker Tuesday 1st November ** I'm currently 220th with 1100 left (5700 chips) in the $10k NordicBet freeroll but I've gotta go out at 7.30ish (got a date with that 21 year old again! Weehay! :nana ) Anyone wanna play for me (in the freeroll :lol )? If so, drop me a PM and I'll send my username and password to ya.

  9. Re: Question for the experienced Burt, Think the first thing to take in is that this happens to everyone at some point. I'm going through a dreadful spell myself thats now stretched for 6 months. Before that I was winning $30k tournaments on Ladbrokes (though I can't prove the $9k first prize with a screenshot ;) although Jezza's good proof!), Rounders tourneys on B365 and was hitting the money in a high number of the MTTs I was entering. When my bad spell started, I stopped enjoying playing and decided to take a break for about 3 months, both for my sanity and my bank balance. Since then, I've played mainly for enjoyment (low stake tourneys and freerolls) whilst I try and play myself back 'into form'. At the moment, I'm still being beaten by outrageous bad beats all of the time and the occasional poor play but things will change. As long as you are playing the right way and doing the right things, it will change. I haven't reached a final table now for months but know that I'm doing the right things again. Just a matter of time until it starts to pay off. As soon as you lose your patience though mate, its time to take a break!
