After some discussions on the other sports section of this forum I have found out about the sport of Bandy and today there is a match which fits in well for this system. Although the best odds I can get for a straight win at the moment are 1.72 from bwin. I only use betfair (down for maintenance) and bwin, I might have to branch out a bit.

    Re: Bandy, Sweden 12/2 As I said I know NOTHING about Bandy, but looking at the last 3 games for Sandvikens they appear to have hit top form, scoring 24 and conceding only 9. Both teams recently played Hammarby away from home: Edsbyns won 4:5 Sandvikens won 4:10 However, the last 4 home games for Edsbyns against Sandvikens:

    20/12/2006 Allsvenskan Norra Edsbyns IF vs. Sandvikens Aik/Bk 11:3
    10/03/2006 Playoff Edsbyns IF vs. Sandvikens Aik/Bk 9:0
    06/03/2006 Playoff Edsbyns IF vs. Sandvikens Aik/Bk 3:1
    08/02/2006 Elitserien Edsbyns IF vs. Sandvikens Aik/Bk 5:2
    won all 4....... You would have to favour Edsbyns just on the h2h results, but Sandvikens might be a bit tougher this time around. But, what do I know :lol

Thanks, Aldric EDIT At least I know what it is now :) Bandy is one of the many team sports where a stick is used to hit a ball. As in Shinty, Hurling, Field Hockey and Floorball the main objective is to get the ball into a goal. Unlike these sports, Bandy is played on ice with the players skating, but in contrast to Ice Hockey the playing field is the size of a Football (Soccer) field and is played with eleven players in each team. Many rules, like offside, are the same as, or very similar those in Soccer. Hence, Bandy is sometimes refered to as "the winter soccer".

    I made a mistake with the above bet, I didn't notice that the league has only just started again and I was taking last years results in to play! :wall :wall :wall :wall :wall Sau Bento haven't won a game this year and I wouldn't have bet on this if I had realised that obviously.
