  1. Re: Cheap Copy of Luky15.... BACK THE FAVS!!!

Ok back again for the second week of picks and after scoring 2/5 last week i have a confidence about this week... Starting Bank: 100 Amount Bet: 16 Amount Returned: 0 Current Bank: 84 Profit/ Loss: -16 S/R: 0% I'll be looking for 4/5 but 3/5 very achievable in my eyes... Some of these odds are a little bellow par (As i stated in the first post no picks would be bellow evens)... I do think though picking correctly is more important than minor lowering of odds... My new picks are: Match: Manchester City- Manchester United :ok :ok :ok League: EPL HT/FT Price: 2.2 Match: Real Madrid- Sevilla League: Spain1 HT/FT Price: 3.25 Match: Monchengladbach- Bayern Munich :wall :wall :wall League: Germany1 HT/FT Price: 2.5 Match: Stuttgart- Mainz :ok :ok :ok League: Germany1 HT/FT Price: 1.83 Match: Cesena- Juventus League: ItalyB HT/FT Price: 1.83 10 Trebles... 4 Quads... 1 Fivefold... 16 bets total... time to :hope (I am quietly confident)

  3. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 8 (May 3rd - 7th) I have taken the bunnies 2nite... for all reasons stated above... I am being very lazy 2day... 3units Bunnies+7.5 @ 1.93 1unit Bunnies @ 3 ... and there we go short and sweet... I am also likely to place something on dragons... ... I'm thinking... 1unit Dragons/penrith under 42.5 @ 1.9 2units Dragons @ 1.92 (Will become bold when decision has been made and bet places :tongue2)

  4. Re: UEFA Cup Semis 2nd leg (3/5)

Reinke (4) - C. Fritz (4' date=5), Pasanen (3,5), Naldo (3,5), Owomoyela (5) - Baumann (4) - Frings (2,5), Vranjes (4) - Diego (2) - Klose (2,5), Rosenberg (3,5) Thats the Werder team away to Armenia. Would you like to tell me how it's a second string eleven? The league is their number one priority and the idea that they have conceded it is just garbage. Rubbish like this could lead people to bet on something they otherwise wouldn't. As for tonight, the German league isn't as strong as it was and I'd lean towards a narrow Werder win, but Espanyol (who impressed me no end away at Benfica) to progress.
... I stand corrected... thankyou for keeping me honest and I assure you that it was unitentional... ... Werder got the goal 1-0 (3:47)... this gona b a fun 1 :lol :lol :lol :lol
  5. Re: Convict Capers I myself will be going for everything... HT's, FT's... Perhaps Qtrs even Especially standout 1st 1/4 teams perhaps "Go2wo's"... going 2 be interesting times... make alot of $... perhaps loose alot... lets hope 4 the former... :ok

  6. Re: AFL Football - Round 6 (May 4th - 6th)

You guys have me convinced. Only worry I'd have is kangaroos getting up and winning.
PLEASE...:lol :lol :lol :lol... Believe me m8 it just aint going to happen + you can always put a separate bet just on Kangas win @ HT.... although that wat happened w me last week... Kanga HT and Carlton FT (I think I cant really remember) 2 seperate bets tho pulled up w a small profit... may b a better option...
  7. Re: UEFA Cup Semis 2nd leg (3/5)

I have to go against the crowd and suggest a Espanyol +1 AH here. A thing called morale plays a big part in football games, and in this situation, it looks like it's bremen who lack the morale. They are coming off a 3:2 defeat, missed the chance to take the top of bundesliga table. The thing is Bremen HAVE to score at least 3 goals, and that's pressure. Espanyol have nothing to play for in the league anymore, they will be putting 100% into this game, they want this one.
I made the point b4 that Werder fielded a 2nd team for this game... hardly low morale if u loose with a 2nd team away from home... they have conceeded the league with the aim 2 take this game... either that or they believe they can conquer the league w/o that win... either way supports Werders cause and hi hopes for this game and with a higher level of class @ home in germany... and w/o Pandiani... just got reinforce looks good 4 Werder... But hey gl I hope we both win... Not sure its possible but I'm gona :hope 4 it...
  8. Re: UEFA Cup Semis 2nd leg (3/5)

You don't consider one important problem. What happen if Espanyol score? (Very probable situation IMO). Even if Werder leads 2-0... letting one in will be the end: they must win 5-1! They'll soon give-up! Furthermore, Espanyol is not so bad, I can't see the spanish team trashed in Bremen. Be carefull with asian handicap, at least...
Thats why i have the Over bets... as a backup with a return on the Werder -1 and win on over2.5 the loss will be softend enough that I'm willing 2 risk it... similarily 2-2 and 3-1 are goodish 4 me aswell 1-1 or simialr results will hurt but i just don't see it with Werders commitment 2 this match (Sacrificing league 2 rest players)...
  9. Re: UEFA Cup Semis 2nd leg (3/5) ... Following on from my above post i will post my selections and predictions for todays Cup match ups (all @ Bet365): 2units Diego 2 score anytime @ 3.2 2.5units Werder -1 @ 1.85 1.5units Werder -1.5 @ 2.33 1unit Werder -2.25 @ 4.4 3units Werder/Espanyol Over2.5 Goals @ 1.73 1unit Werder/Espanyol Over3.5 Goals @2.8 3units Draw/Sevilla HT/FT @ 4.33 1unit Werder/Sevilla UEFA CUP Final @ 14.5 Reasoning(A must 4 these selections): I am just a glory hunter me thinks... the 4-0 by Werder would be gold just for the game and the build up 2 the final... but there is sum actual thought behind these decisions and as I plan 2 do a hell of alot of explaining I am going 2 break them into categories... Diego This is primarily a value bet @ 3.2... now he is yet to score in the UEFA Cup and only had 1 goal from 6 games in the CL (But if you consider the opposition thats not such a crucial stat), however he has scored 12 from 30 games in the Bundesliga and in such a match where Espanyol will be looking to defend their lead as hopes of outscoring Werder in this game are minimal, Diego class Free kicks and Shots from beyond the box may prove crucial if Werder are to come back and go on to the final and with an above 30% goal rate in general I fancy him to lift and put 1 in the back of the net... hardly as much of a banker as Kaka was but still in good shape (Was considering Klose but @ 2.2 not 2 much value there except that he takes the penalties) Werder Bremen -1, -1.5, -2.5 At first i believed that Espanyol woul have a very good shot at keeping this a tight game... but more and more I am changing my mind... Werder are a class act and their 3-2 loss on the weekend was due to resting for this match (Which suprises me a little as I would have thought solidifying CL next year and winning league would be more important than Cup) obviously indicating that Werder are commited to the cup and truly believe that they can get a result here that will give them a spot in the final, and they have done it before in similar situations coming back from 3-0, 4-0 and 4-1 in the first leg... but this by no means is my complete reasoning (As Its not particularily solid)... but wait theres more... this whole thing relies on Espanyol's deficiencies coming into this match, that is injuries to: Pandiani (Could be nail in coffin), Defender Hurtado and Influential midfielder Pena (Can someone confirm this... I cannot). The losses of Pena and and Pandiani is devestating for Espanyols attack... obviously Pandiana as the leading Cup goal scorer will hurt their offensive efforts and it is in that that Werder have hope... 3 goals are not beyond Werder in any situation and with the strong possibility of Espanyol coming from this game goalless the possibilty is not beyond chance. With Werders players rested and refreshed they will know their job today, they will have the legs and certainly the ability the question is whether or not Espanyol defence can stop them... should Garcia or someone else score... Over 2.5, 3.5 Goals These are bets that will come in handy should Espanyol score... while it is possible Werder could win 5-1 That result is very unlikely bar top form and some poor defending (I could see Espanyol down 3-0 or 3-1 with 25min 2 go getting very shaking and making nervious mistakes possibly letting in extra goals). However most can agree that no matter what happens with Qualification it will be impossile for Espanyol 2 play a defensive game and survive not conceeding 2 or more goals and should they wake up and score 1 or perhaps 2 (While unlikely definately not out of contention) the over bets shall be helpful... A low score is a slim chance i believe as i dont see Espanyols defence good enough (Despite cup record)... Draw/Sevilla HT/FT This is pure value as we can all see Sevilla coming throught this match with a win and qualification some think by some... some think by many however in league games it seems a common theme that Sevilla tend to score first in the second half... they have won games 1-0 and 3-1 and places in between where this result has been the cast whether it be 1-1 @ HT or 0-0 this result is not unimaginable as Sevilla tend 2 pull away from opposition as time progresses and ossasuna's defence should be able to hold for the 1st half but are sure to tire in latter stages of the game... Anyway i enjoyed writing this even if you make think it's rubbish I hope you enjoyed reading it and GL all with 2nites bets (Most need it as these European games in particular tend 2 be frustratingly unpredictable). I would like 2 see Werder in the final they are the classier team and will provide for a much more entertaining match against Sevilla (Perhaps Osasuna, but I don't think so)... ...Stay :dude everyone...

  10. Re: UEFA Cup Semis 2nd leg (3/5)

So Espanyol's 0-0 result against Benfica means nothing? Yes they were a bit lucky' date=' but there's no reason why they can't achieve the same result.[/quote'] Ha yes but your error is comparing Benfica with Weder Bremen.... different universe... especially @ home as benfica has been struggling somewhat against local opposition @ home...
  11. Re: Champions League Semi-Final 2nd legs Tues 01/05 - Weds 02/05

I'll be taking the following with Bet365: 0.8unit ManUtd to win from behind @ 13 :lol :lol :lol 0.2unit ACMillan/ManUtd HTFT @ 29 :lol :lol :lol 2units ManUtd win HT @ 4.33 :wall :wall :wall 4units Over2.5 Goals @ 2.05 :ok :ok :ok 1unit 4 Goals or more @ 3.75 :wall :wall :wall Looking 4 this to be a classic ManUtd match... I would say there will be a goal in the first half at least... If ManUtd score the game will open up and it is more than likely the game will end swiftly with ManUtd outscoring AC 3-1,4-2 or something of that nature... and if AC score first ManUtd then are loosing under AG rules and will therefore push hard 4 goals and at a price tag of 13 for ManUtd 2 come from behind 2 win and 29 4 HT/FT who can resist... the only thing that is going to stop goals flowing freely in this game is a goaless 1st half... and with ManUtd's still makeshift defence and Maldini out Both teams will have more than a little trouble keeping each other out... IMO of course :tongue2 Also add: 2units Kaka 2 score anytime @ 3.4 :nana :nana :nana Unless Gilardino wakes out of his CL slumber than this should cover the dreaded AC milan win... It could happen anyway which would be nice
Still came out with a decent profit tonight... lukily but its hard 2 imagine that a team like ManUtd can be kept to 0... the best team won 2nite 4 sure... dissapointing that ManUtd couldnt make something of it...
  12. Re: Champions League Semi-Final 2nd legs Tues 01/05 - Weds 02/05

IMO there is more value in Milans 2.30 odds (2.45 is available at Betdaq). Why? 1. Usually teams with good defence do well in Euro cups. Its not at all surprising to see Pool, Chelsea and Milan in semis. Man U is a team better suited for PL then for Europe (this is strictly my opinion) and they dont defend well when under pressure which Roma proved in Italy. 2. In the first match Milan showed that they are more then able to beat Man U. At Meazza Milan will push forward and the Italians will have more boll possesion. This will leave Man U defending/chasing the boll. This is something that they are not used to and considering the fact that many defenders are missing for the english side i wouldnt be surprised to see them concede 2-3 goals. Man U-s best chance to qualify is to try to attack Milan and try to dominate the match. As far as I can remeber Milan had more possesion in the first match and besides, how many foreign sides are able to dominate Milan at San Siro? All in all, Roma was able to beat Man U and Milan has even more quality in their squad and they almost always do well in Europe. Pool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all coached by continetal coaches and honestly they have had better results in CL lately. Milan will put them under pressure which is something that they are not really used to. Milan @ 2.45 Betdaq for me, but if you wait untill the kickoff you should be able to get at least 2.50 PS. I'm an Inter fan :D
Firstly let me say :welcome to the PL, ... but there is one thing you have taken as pure fact that is a questionable descision and perhaps a fatal mistake IMO... obviously I'm not out to change your mind as you have your reasons and you believe them to be adequate however you make the point that Milan are more than able to beat ManUtd at the back... while this was true it was an uncommon combination of purely individual brilliance and defence blunders that (assuming Ferdinand and Vidic play) with the added experience will not occur as much tonight... because the problem was inexperience and players out of positions it should not happen to that extent... that is Milan will more than likely score but will be pressed to put 2 in unless highly motivated to do so eg. ManUtd go up by 2 early... ... but I hope to see you around posting with the same quality as above you will be a fine contribution to the Lounge... Gl

  14. Re: Champions League Semi-Final 2nd legs Tues 01/05 - Weds 02/05

I see a repeat of the Istanbul thriller. Milan surely know how to do it. How sweet could it be?
I'm not so sure about that... with R. Ferdinand and Vidic back in the squad I'm not sure i can see AC scoring two (As you would quite correctly assume ManUth will score) considering the type of goals they scored @ OT and the quality of goals they have scored recently + they just reliant somewhat on Ronaldo now as he is cup tied it will be difficult 4 them relying now on Kaka (as Gilardino is dead ATM... i spell bady i know) perhaps Inzaghi will make an appearence but not sure he can do it either... as both teams need 2 score (ManUtd will know they wont be able to rely on 1 goal lead) I'd say this game will have many goals but the over 2.5 is likely 2 b short so I'll be backing ManUtd 4 the win depending on odds perhaps on -0.25 if odds are good enough...
  15. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 7 (April 25th 30th)

About 2-3 weeks I think' date=' but he's not played a Premier League game for the best part of a year. There's no way that IMO he can be fully ready for the very fast tempo of Premiership football.[/quote'] Point taken... ... Any1 watching Sharks game want to give an early synopsis... how each team is looking... I know it's 2-0 to knights... strange for them to take it lacking confidence it seems that they can get over the line... good sign (I think)
