  1. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 12 (June 1st - 4th)

Not sure what to make of everything but a couple of interesting things: Onto the games and I'll keep an eye on the Broncos handicap. The Dragons are this week without Hornby, Ryles and Young as well as their other problems. Their team looks crap. Not based too much on form but I think there's a bit of golden point history between the Dogs and Warriors. I'll be speccing on that and with no Mason I see no reason why either team should be favoured with confidence.
Crouch, they're giving Brisbane -8.5. Cronulla 2.65 is good value, i expect the sharks to bounce back from roosters loss.
  2. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 12 (June 1st - 4th) Thanks for sharing that with us jumbo, how long does it take to go through all the stats etc ? So do you base your judgement on the previous game stats, compare strengths/weakness, wait for gameday info etc... then make your prediction for the following week ? If i comapre Broncos/Dragons stats from last week, it should tell me to pick Brisbane this week. But i know there is more to it ...

  3. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 11 (May 25th - 28th) Thanks for the info on the Warriors game Jumbo. Warriors win @ 2.8 is too good to refuse considering most of there games have been close. Might have a small punt on that & the +6.5 line. Some excitement bets i might consider: 1st Score Type - Parra try 1.95 1st Score Type - Parra penalty goal 8.50 Luke Burt most tries scored vs Wade McKinnon 3.20 Cant wait for the game 2nite got good tix to the game.:ok GL

  4. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 11 (May 25th - 28th) Im abit hesitant about this game. Manly looked ordinary on monday nite, although they won the win wasnt convincing IMO, maybe they left some in the tank for tonight. Jumbo like you said the storm have more origin players backing up so that should be a factor & the storm dont win many games without crocker. I remb gus talking about how manly dont perform to well under lights.

  5. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 9 (May 11th - 14th) Jumbo good call on Jazz/GS overs today. Its still early days but I like Storm, Manly & Souths. Well Storm should bounce back after loss, while away teams never win at Manly fortress & rabbitohs are due for a win after 2 narrow defeats. Cant wait to see Lion go up against his former team. Turning to soccer, i like Roma @ 2.4 against Inter in Coppa Italia cup. Motivation factor should get roma across the line in first leg. Well Inter has some key injuries and they may be still celebrating the scudetto. But i will come back with reports etc

  6. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 8 (May 3rd - 7th) Hi Guys I found some info on the Broncos v Rabbits game

Brisbane trained today without 10 front-line players - either injured or victims of a virus. Sam Thaiday, Brad Thorn and prop Dane Carlaw - who has dropped four kilograms were amongst those struck down with the illness. Tonie Carroll, hoping to return from a knee injury this weekend, Brent Tate (hip), David Stagg (ankle), Justin Hodges (knee), Shane Perry (toe), Corey Parker (wrist) and Ben Hannant (ribs) did other forms of training. This was taken from http://forums.rleague.com/showthread.php?p=462088 check here for any updates. Looks like Rabbitohs +7.5 is a good bet.
  7. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 8 (May 3rd - 7th) Good call on the Roosters/Eels game. I watched parra against titans game and they looked dreadfull. Just on the virus, only a handfull of players had the flu during the game against titans, so you can imagine that the virus has passed through the entire team. And i read in the local paper Tim Smith had lost 4kgs just goes to show how serious the virus is. Also news that Tahu & Fui Fui are injured for the eels.

  8. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 7 (April 25th 30th)

Good calls there Bozz, lucky to keep away from Torino. Did you take Man U over 2.5? Easy money. I won't be putting up NRL looks today untill before kick off as I'd really like to see what the rest of you are gonna come up with,so good luck to all,i'll be posting late. Also to anyone intrested, after a good look around i'm on the Rockets to beat the Jazz today before the League starts if anyones keen.
Hey bro just got back from city only to find out Chievo never scored, but i did back Portsmouth DNB 2.20. Nah i forgot about the Man U game:@ . Looks like Man U have wrapped up the Premiership. Milan/Torino, i just read that Milan fielded some of the big guns, but it burns me to read previews before only to find out they play!
  9. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 7 (April 25th 30th)

Bozz buddy not good news on the Serie A Torino vs Milan (just shorts here,it's to long) Milan can stay in 4th regardless and they have a very important match comming up mid week, but Torino has'nt been that good of late and even though should be up for this match,it's not solid.Barone,Bovo and Pancaro all out for Torino,Kaluzo,Gattuso both out for Milan and some others but KaKa will be playing with Ronaldo and Gilardino and Milan willl not be a push over.Maybe a draw but leaning towards Milan,to much strike power. Leave this match alone. Fiorentina vs Cheivo Fiorentina have been one of the form sides in the Serie A for the last couple of months, but over their last 3 have'nt played as well. Fiorentina are without Toni,Donadel,Santano and Potenzo all out for Viola. Mandelli,Scurto,D'Anna,Moro,Cozzolino and Cossatto all out for Cheivo. Fiorentina are missing major strike power and while this match looks lop sided it might not be the case. A draw is a possibillity,if not leave alone. Sorry Fellas. Sorry for the dud tips on the NRL as well. The whole world is on Portsmouth, trust me they are!!!!
Unlucky Manly! Thanks for the info jumbo:ok Only 2 bets for 2nite, Fiorentina no clean sheet & +1 Portsmouth. GL all im off to watch Everton/Man U
