  1. Re: NRL last round!!! Taking storm 19+ Michael Crocker to score a try Storm need to win 27+ to get minor premiers, so 19+ seems like a achievable total while the bunnies have been letting in bucket loads of points recently Crocker has had a good consistant season & its his last game for the storm and in the nrl, so what a fitting farewell it will be with a try which is possible gl

  2. Re: Top Scorer

Do you think the loss of Eduardo is significant bozz' date=' or have you enough cover up front to cope?[/quote'] It would've been nice to have dudu in the team but im sure the team has fully recovered & moved on from the news & i believe they have enough backup for him. It may sound ironic but im glad the injury to dudu happened months ago and not 1 or 2 weeks before the tournament. I believe the injury to dudu will bring the best out of the players a little more... A Budda1312 i agree with you and i stated earlier that i like the look of Luca Toni for top sgoal scorer - he had anawesome year for Bayern & seems to be the main striker for Italy which i do hope they get far in the tourn.
  3. Re: Top Scorer Im Cro & i don't think Petric can reach that goal. We have too many strikers aboard like Budan, Olic, Klasnic, Rakitic. Any of these strikers can be used anytime. Take into account Kranjcar & Modric who can score from midfield & free kicks. Its a gamble to bet on Petric probably at this stage he might score 20% of Croatia's goals. All it takes is 1 bad game or results for Petric and he will be replace by another good striker.

  4. Re: Top Scorer Pick a player who is likely to be the n#1 striker of the team & who is likely to play nearly every game. 1. Proven scorer 2. Team is in a easy group 3. Could advance far in the tournament (like semis or final) 4. Attack minded team Thats what i can think of as a guide to picking top scorer I can think of Davor Suker in '98 when cro finished 3rd that matched the above criteria. For now i like Luca Toni.

  5. Re: Under 2.5 strategy based on stats and recent results Im gonna give this a try. Im posting my predictions based on my little system: Italy Serie A Milan vs Siena under 2.5 Cagliari vs Parma under 2.5 Sampdoria vs Napoli over 2.5 Atalanta vs Fiorentina under 2.5 Roma vs Reggina over 2.5 Livorno vs Genoa under 2.5 Udinese vs Juve over 2.5 Empoli vs Lazio under 2.5 Torino vs Palermo under 2.5 Note: im keeping stakes minimum Confidence 2/10

  6. Re: Under 2.5 strategy based on stats and recent results

You may be right, but since in the majority of leagues between 2.4 and 3 goals on average are scored, it's hard to find teams with significant more overs. Of course there are some, but the opponent also must be a high scoring team. And if in the last few games were a few overs, in this strategy the match is excluded.
Just another question, if im betting on over 2.5 would be the cut off line? For example ive worked out a system and it predicts 2.75 goals will be scored in a particular game, is that enough to suggest the game will be overs or should the cut off line be say 3?
  7. Re: UEFA Cup 1st Round 1st Leg 20/09

I like Dnipro too :hope. Aberdeen are not really convincing. What do you think of Zagreb vs Ajax ? Ajax form is not good away from home. I'm tempted to take Zagreb win. Any likely draw picks here? Zvezda win looks a good one too.
Being a dinamo supporter all my life, I can't see a dinamo loss here. I expect the plavi to win - worst outcome a draw. But luka modric said if we dont win our season is a complete failure. It will be a good test for dinamo to see how they compete with the elite teams because Cro league is pretty shit apart from hajduk. They showed against werder they belong in europe elite but are missing some ingredients, only if silva and corluka never left. But we have enough class to fill there spots. I expect a full stadium 33,000 to cheer us on. Im taking Dinamo win, CS 2:1 over 2.5 goals gl
  8. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 12 (June 1st - 4th) Good reviews jumbo, i might have a small punt on a Panthers win. I read Manly dont have a good away record underlights, while Steve Menzies is not playing & will be back after the bye against souths. I just feel the unpredictable Panthers can pull a rabbit out off the hat like they did against the Cowboys. The #7 is on the line for NSW so im expecting a blinder by one or both players. I would've prefered the line if at +8.5 for panthers but its shorter so ill take a punt at a Panthers win. GL

  9. Re: NRL Rugby - Round 12 (June 1st - 4th) good luck to them jumbo here tate signed for warriors, vatuvei was dropped for crockett if you gonna have a punt on soccer euro qualifiers, take croatia to beat estonia 1.45 (the later have 0 points gd 0-10) while croatia 1st, have england, israel, russia & maco right behind them (im croat myself so ill get some team info later)
