    Re: Australian Open 2009 - bets, predictions, reasoning a punt that's well worth taking in my eyes. is Gonzalez to beat Nadal currently best priced 9's with Bet 365. Although Nadal holds the advantage over him on Clay, which you would expect. they have played each other 3 times on Hard surfaces, with Gonzalez winning twice with significance in the 2007 Aussie Open. and at 9's is worthy of a bet.

    Re: Cheltenham 24/01 2.35 Star De Mohaison Is a C/D winner and has B Geraghty on board who has a decent record on the horse. 4 runs/3 wins, 2 at grade 1 and 1 at grade 3. he was also placed in a decent handicap race lto. although he is going up in the ratings by 8. the horse has next to no weight on his back considering in his last race he had 11-12. If Geraghty gives him a positive ride, I think he will win very comfortably.

    Basically i have got it into my head that when a horse is owned by the trainer then they will find the optimum race for the horse to win. as i have time on my hands i thought i would try it for a bit. simple system, when owner and trainer have same name or seem to be related then it's a selection.:lol:lol:lol didnt think that their would be many selections, I was wrong all selections as to wether they are wins or e/w will be judged by the Channel 4 racing website.     for some fun, gonna jump on the 80/20 bets bandwagon. but with a twist. the win part of the bet will be governed by how many tips the horse has in the r/post cards. rules 1. 1 bet a day 2. british racing only 3. only the race with most money, will be the pick 4. £10 staked per race, win part goes by tips in racing post cards (maximum 7), the rest on place. 5. odds will be taken night before, if available. 27th July 7.40 Wind - Orange Pip (£7 win @ 2.76) (£3 place @ 1.38)

    a tote jackpot question

    right then. on the tote jackpot slip on bluesq. they give the number for the horses 1-17 in the leg etc. then they give the fav option for the leg. there is one final option that i have never seen before, its called field. what does this mean? or am i just being thick :loon:loon:ok
