Re: The Last At Kempton just to let everyone know, i received an e-mail back off the bha today, over 2 weeks later, fair play though as i didnt really expect to have one back.
Dear Mr Thank you for your email. You’ve raised a good issue, and it is one that our veterinary team is addressing. It isn’t completely simple though. Do we: (a) Ban all horses under a certain rating, regardless of age? (b) Ban all horses over a certain age from racing altogether? © Ban all horses over a certain age and under a certain rating? The issue of older horses racing is a hotly contested one. The statistics we have show that there are plenty of horses that are capable of racing – and indeed winning – over and above a certain age: e.g. Kylkenny winning at Southwell at the age of 13 recently. In terms of ratings the recent Fixture Review has made a recommendation that horses rated below 40 are prevented from running on the Flat. On this horse, there was no veterinary history recorded from previous racecourse visits to suggest that the horse wasn’t fit to run. Yours sincerely, Owen Byrne -

Re: Welshman's Laying
forget the original rules to the system, i'm going to make it more interesting and to test myself. bets 1-10 - will be £10 profit from each bet bets 11-20 - will be £20 profit from each bet bets 21-30 - will be £30 profit from each bet etc... until i get :hope:hope:hope, to bet 100, which will obviously be £100 profit per day. not each bet (although this might be revised later)want a motorbike £1,000 should get me a half decent one. laying anything within reason to make £10 a day starting bank £100 to make £10 a day -
been reading through different threads and saw something that cassius wrote that i never knew (yes schoolboy error :sad:sad).
the bit i was interested in was the bit in bold, i love looking for e/w steals. so i am goin to concentrate on 16+ handicaps and look for nice e/w picks. wont be taking odds of less than 9/1 each pick 1pt e/w Fri 18th April 3.40 Thirsk - Yes one 7.20 Cheltenham - Finzi 7.50 Cheltenham - Light Yield 8.00 Taunton - Minella LodgeStandard horse racing place betting for each way purposes is as follows :- (may vary slightly in indpendent shops) 16 or more runners - handicaps - a quarter of the odds the first four -

this is something that i do in p/pots, to help me decipher a tough race. if there is 3 or more first time horses in a race then back the horse that is fav at the off. been trialling it and so far it is alright. Today there was 7 races with 2 winners - 3/1 + 15/8 2 2nd's 2 3rd's 1 unplaced decided to put it on here for everyone else to have a snigger at it.:ok Starting bank - £150 Each Pick £5 win/ if fav is over 6/1 then e/w (but i've never seen one yet) Thur 17th April Dundalk - 6.40 7.40 9.40 Kempton - 7.50 Fri 18th April Newbury - 1.10 3.50 4.25 Thirsk - 2.00 5.15
