  1. Re: **Poker Sunday 11th March**

I seriously hope your joking mate :wall
I'm afraid it's true. It was only about $50. I harrassed them with emails and calls for about 6 months and got nothing - ended up giving up. Then it suddenly appeared back in my Neteller account one day. Golden Palace - you suck donkey-dick. :spank :spank :spank :spank

Dunno if anyone has tried to withdraw their winnings yet, but its yet another site where you have to deposit 1st, then send proof of who you are, by sending copies of your credit card/passport and bank statement/utility bill 20hrs later, 7 emails and 2 phone calls later, and the money is still in my account :( edit: i forgot to add that this is golden palace
My last cashout from the Golden Palace casino took about 15 months to be paid :loon :loon :loon.
  3. Re: **Poker Sunday 11th March**

Could some one pleeeeeease login to Dreampoker and tell me if you can see MTTs? I have been trying from yesterday, tried every option and I just can see them :$.
They're all still there (even the silly 10,000-entrant freerolls). No sign of v-points, though. :unsure
  4. Re: **Poker Saturday 3rd March** I think it's a pretty good choice and will be playing. If the focus game was the $100 main event I would agree with QM's comments, but $20 (£10) does not seem prohibitive to me on an occasional basis, and the Mansion $100k represents great value in terms of overlay. I certainly don't think BPP should be restricted to freerolls and $1 events. In fact, since Saturday often seems to be a struggle for focus games, perhaps we should consider designating it as a 'higher buy-in day' and consistently having tournies in the $10 to $30 range. Although given the amount of effort GaF puts into running BPP (:notworthy), I'm happy to defer to whatever he feels best!

  5. Re: PL Recommended Poker Books Harrington on Hold'em is the absolute dog's bollox when it comes to tournament play. I have read all 3 volumes several times, and I still feel I improve my game by referring back to it sometimes. For cash games, Super System 2 is well worth reading, as is Lee Jones's book for low-limit.

  6. Re: Parbet relaunch I think I'll be going for the 200MPP freerolls too now. It's Cryptologic so the $1/2 limit and $2/4 limit cash tables are full of weak-tight bonuswhores whose blinds can be stolen mercilessly.

  7. Since I find myself multitabling more and more, I am considering "investing" in a seriously big PC monitor - ie 23 inches or bigger - in order to be able to keep up with the action on several tables at once better. Has any one else done this, and did it make a noticeable difference to your play?
