Like Melbourne with the points because logic says they have all the momentum in this thing after the beat-down they put on Brisbane last sunday .. but something in the pit of my stomach is just telling me a HUGE Bullets backlash could be on the cards tonight ... They're probably done if they lose this one ... And they'll be hurting after being comprehensively molested in that third quarter at the Cage ...

The third and fourth quarters in particular of the remaining games are going to virtually grind to a halt in terms of scoring ... There will be scoring droughts and both teams will be walking the ball up the floor ... The bottom line is EXPECT DEFENSE ..

    Win I still come away from that game thinking melbourne has what it takes to win this series .. they dominated for a large portion of that game and it was only some poor decisions at the end that cost them that one ... their size is still a major advantage imo ... i think they'll square the ledger in convincing fashion on sunday ...

Look up the definition of "complex" and / or "victim mentality" in the dictionary and this paranoid ****** should appear ... I have no doubt he knows the rounds in terms of coaching a team but the man is an embarrassment to himself at times ... I'm so glad he's been hammered over this latest incident because calling the referee and "fcuking shithead" as you run past at fulltime is not only cowardly but a severe blight on the sport ..     Anyone fancy a Kings win over the hawks - who played & lost last night?
    Laying that many points isn't a recipie for successful punting but in this case I agree with it .. Last night's result pretty much ends the Hawks season .. maybe not in a mathematical sense, but after failing to take care of Singapore (minus one it's imports) at home in must win game I think the Hawks are well and truly shot mentally now ... This will be a hard game for them to lift .. They're coming in against a Sydney side that's clearly confident after a last start win against Melbourne, and Goorj will have the Kings revved up to really run it down Wollongong's throat tonight .. Would be surprised if the Hawks hung around once they get down in this game, as it seems they ineffitibly will at some stage .. Double digit win for Sydney ...

    U195.5 is the play in this one ... I can't believe the books didn't set this total in the mid 180's ... These two teams traditionally play low against each other, then there's the factor of the AIS Arena where they're playing this one .. It's a gym conducive to low scoring games ... the rims are tight and unforgiving and shooters just find it a tough venue to get their bearings for a few different reasons .. The two games played at there this year haven't gone past 165 ...

An improved lineup, a solid pre-season and a huge home crowd tonight all point towards a big win for the hosts .. However I want to see a little proof before I lump on a team I and many others dubbed the "Farce" last year .. The Highlanders are weakened by the absense of their all blacks and Nick Evans ... Lean on Force -6.5 but no play for me ..

    Dare I say it .. Kings +2.5 v Melbourne ... seems every time I talk up a team's supposed need to win, they take the gas .. But this is an enormous match for the Kings .. Could go a long way towards solidifying a top four spot .. Another tick in their favour is wednesday's EMBARRASSING 30 point loss to West Sydney .. The third factor that makes me like this Sydney's EMBARRASSING defeat to the Tigers in Canberra last time they met and the fourth is the fact that they've been waiting at home for this game while Melbourne played Singapore last night and travelled today .. This is surely a prime spot for Sydney to grab one against Melbourne .. Kings +2.5 & even ML ($2.20) looks good ..

Firstly, we should pause and remember where we were when the NZ Knights entered a match as favourites! We all know neither team has anything to play for in terms of next week, and given this, can we expect an open, high scoring game? Perth has played two high scoring draws in it's last two .. Books can't split the total goals for this one .. O/U 2.5 is a pk .. I guess if you put yourself in the mindset of both teams here, they're hardly going to be all that interested in grinding out 1-0 result either way .. ?
