  1. Re: 1.75+ Treble Home Win Glory Hunt Ah well, no joy tonight. The treble looked more than possible on paper. Still in profit and let's see what tomorrow brings :ok CSKA Sofia 1-1 Fulham :eyes Dinamo Zagreb 0-2 Anderlecht :eyes CFR Cluj 2-0 FC Copenhagen :clap So far: Bets: 3 Won: 1 Starting bank: 25 Current bank: 31.28

  2. Re: 1.75+ Treble Home Win Glory Hunt Thanks Bagzi, I always look out for your tips and often follow them :ok Sadly didn't have time to study any games today as have been at Trent Bridge watching England - Australia in the cricket, but will be looking at Wednesday's games.

  3. Re: 1.75+ Treble Home Win Glory Hunt Thanks Aldric! :ok Tonight's picks. Been a little naughty and am just under the limit for Nantes, but justifying it with the slighly higher price on Sirius. France - Ligue 2 Nantes v Strasbourg, 1.7 Norway - Tippeligean Brann v Viking, 1.8 Sweden - Supperettan IF Sirius v Angelholms, 2.4 2.5 units staked returns 17.44 if bet is a winner :ok

  4. Right, bit of fun, going to pick three home wins, odds must be 1.75 or greater. Starting bank of 25 units, 2.5 units per bet. So an initial run of ten bets - three successful will see me in profit. Seeing this one through to the bitter end, people! :ok Today's picks: Sat Sept 12 Middlesbrough v Ipswich Town, 1.75 Rochdale v Torquay United, 1.80 Fleetwood v Corby, 1.75 2.5 staked returns 13.78 units.

  5. Re: World Cup Qualifiers - September 9/10

The Faroe Islands vs Lithuania Advice: 10pts on Faroe Islands (+1) AH @ 2.03 Canbet Something just tempts me about The Faroes here and I think they offer terrific value at home to Lithuania. Known as pretty much a part time outfit, The Faroes can be a poor betting proposition but I have seen enough from them which makes me believe they can be a match for most ‘average’ sides on their home patch. Ok let’s have a look at the stats. For a start these two have met 5 times over the past decade with Lithuania winning all 5 games. Not a great start eh but the last 3 times the sides have met, Lithunia have scraped home by 1 goal and considering the last 2 games were in Lithuania, those were respectable results for The Faroes. If we look at The Faroes recent games we pick up more evidence that suggests they are no pushovers at home. They only just lost 1-0 against France last month and previously were beaten 2-0 by Serbia and its fair to say those two sides are of much better quality than the Lithuanians. They did lose 3-1 to Austria at the weekend but expect a much better performance from them back on home turf. They actually won their first match in god knows how long 3 games ago when beating Iceland 2-1 in a friendly. Moving onto Lithuania and they know this is a must win match to keep alive their very slim hopes of qualification. They started off this campaign very well but have slipped in their recent matches and defeats at home and away to France aswell as home to Romania look like it will cost them. They struggled to overcome Luxembourg last month away from home but apart from that, their away record is shabby and the last thing they will want is this long trip to The Faroe Islands. The Faroes are generally known as whipping boys on the International scene but I genuinely believe they could spring a shock here against an average Lithuanian side. At home especially, The Faroe Islands are not a bad side and with the exception of one 6-0 thumping 3 years ago, they have not lost by more than 2 goals in their past 9 home matches. Going for them to win maybe asking a little much but I do believe they offer terrific value and I would not at all be surprised if they were to cover this line. Paraguay vs Argentina Advice: 10pts on Paraguay (+0 / 0.5) AH @ 2.03 Ladbrokes Probably the bet of the week for me here and I really do fancy Paraguay very very strongly especially at this fantastic price on offer. Argentina are getting to a very desperate stage now after losing 3-1 to Brazil at the weekend and their world cup hopes are all of a sudden under threat. Paraguay sit comfortably above them in the qualifying table and a win here would virtually guarantee Paraguay qualification. Paraguay beat Bolivia 1-0 at the weekend and their home form is very very good with the exception of a 2-0 defeat to Chile 3 months ago. Argentina look a laboured side altogether under Maradona and especially on the road. They have lost their last two on the road, 2-0 away at Ecuador and 6-1 away at Bolivia. They could only manage a 1-1 draw with Paraguay in a qualifier last year and that was at home so quite why they are favourites here I do not know. Tevez & Mascherano are out for Argentina and I honestly believe the home side should be favourites for this match. Paraguay will nick it 1-0 for me but in the event of a low scoring stalemate I am happy to take them at odds against on this line which I make terrific value.
Some great tipping from Jack at the mo, both on here and on his +2.5 system thread - well done mate :ok
  6. Re: Wimbledon I guess now we know why Odesnik went out to 15.00 - an investigation has been launched into his 3-0 defeat to Melzer following suspicious betting patterns. For example, Betfair took 255k on correct score set betting - 254k of it on 3-0! :unsure Dodgy in the extreme. I was also on the Uzbek Denis Istomin who went 2-0 up against Fognini before pulling out injured, was not happy, not happy at all. Think the bookings should start considering refunding all bets in incompleted games - someone could (and probably did) have made a LOT of money had they laid Istomin when he was as low as 1.05 after winning the second set...

  7. Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06 Paddy at it with the publicity stunts again, but good news if you used them to back Chelsea! :loon Taken from Setanta: Reacting to the astonishing refereeing in Wednesday night’s Champions League semi-final, top bookie Paddy Power has not wasted any time pledging to refund bets placed on Chelsea to win the encounter and to qualify for the Champions League final. Chelsea, who were on course for a Champions League final repeat with Manchester United, were seemingly denied at least four penalty appeals and then lost out after a 93rd minute winning strike from Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta. Paddy Power said: "The refereeing in tonight’s match was disgraceful and we’re not going to let our punters suffer because of that nonsense. "Anyone who backed Chelsea to win in 90 minutes or to qualify for the Champions League final will get their money back."

  8. Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April

Some more bets in the Porto match: Over 11 asian corners 2.00 @ Bet365 Man Utd has 7.13 average corners per match and Porto has 5.38. Both teams plays a lot in the wings..Man Utd with Ronaldo and Giggs (if he plays) and Evra that attacks a lot. Porto always play in a 4-3-3 with Hulk - Rodriguez in the wings. Corners Asian Handicap Porto +4 1.80 @ Bet365 This is some nice value IMO..as i side before Porto plays a lot in the wings, their main style is to attack with Hulk and Rodriguez always looking for a cross in the area. I placed this bet sometimes in games with a clear favourite, as in the case, and always lost because after taking the lead the favourite slows down is rithm. I think Man Utd will lead the match but will also be very cautious about the Porto´s counter attack...so i think SAF´s men wont be pushing the attack all game long after scoring. Asian Bookings Under 4 1.90 @ Bet365 My only concern about this bet is the referee Konrad Plautz...i couldn´t find stats about his match records. Man Utd with 1 card per game so far and Porto with 1.75. I can´t see 5 cards in this match unless Plautz is a very strict guy. Rooney to score 2.4 @ Bet365 Rooney has been scoring some goals lately... One of Porto´s main flaw is the second ball and the the low crosses into the frontal zone of the area...that´s the zone where Rooney appears to shot the ball into the net. In the air Porto is strong..Rolando and Bruno Alves are amazing headers, but when playing in the ground, they are a bit weak and both wingers of Porto rarely helps the central zone. GL
    Full house! :clap
  9. Re: Bulgarian A PFG 21-23/3

Hi' date=' it's a neutral venue in Sofia- CSKA Sofia stadium, so i guess Lokomotiv SF supporters will be more even though it is monday afternoon. Lokomotiv to win both halves is a good bet for me too, if you have it at such odds is obligatory to take it! GL[/quote'] Cheers Doko, only problem was the max bet WH would allow me on the 4.33 was about 95 pence! :@ :wall :wall Great info tho, thanks again! :ok
