    Re: Irish open - Dublin hi guys im just back from dublin and had an absolutely blinding weekend.I managed to last about 10 hours when my all in with queens was called by kings and that was the end for me.I was sitting at the same table as steve bercher from full tilt and cristiano blanco from everest poker and i must say both were absolute gentlemen.The highlight of the trip was the devilfish doing an impromptu gig in the bar on thursday night.All in all it was a great experience and a brilliant weekend. well done swampster on youre 123rd finish:clap :clap :clap

    Re: Pacific Smoking Aces Vegas Holiday Freeroll just got an e-mail from them saying that there will be a new 21 man final this saturday for the people who were still left in when the tournament got cancelled(result:clap as i was 15th with a very short stack).The down side is that i will be in dublin for the irish open and wont be able to play in it..If anyone would be interested in playing this for me on saturday could they please pm me,and we could come to some sort of arrangement.

    Re: Pacific Smoking Aces Vegas Holiday Freeroll Just had an e-mail from them saying that they are sorry for the inconvenience caused,and that there promotions team are currently looking in to the best way to resolve the matter.Hopefully they will replay it with the players that were remaining:hope .But i think they will just let the result stand when the tournament was cancelled.

    hi just thought id bring this to the attention of any rangers supporting pl members.pacific poker are running a couple of freerolls for a trip to tel aviv to watch rangers in the uefa cup.there are 2 types of freerolls in the lobby,theres a rangers one,which is restricted to people who sign up a new account through a certain rangers supporters forum,but theres also a tel aviv one which pacific are running themselves.All you have to do is e-mail them expressing an interest in regging for the tourny and they will lift the restrictions in the lobby and allow you to register.the first ones tonight at 6pm (about a hundred regged so far)and top 10 advance to the final on 28th jan.I may play this one myself just to wind up all the teddy bears out there.HAIL HAIL

    Re: Pacific Smoking Aces Vegas Holiday Freeroll ive just checked the tournament lobby for the final and it says there are 200 places available,so it looks like they will be running 2 freerolls each week up until the final.so instead of having a 1 in 20 chance it now looks like ive got a 1 in 200 chance.lookin on the bright side at least it will give other PL members a chance to get in.
