Re: Ligue 2 > February 13th - 16th Brest - Nimes Brest gives the 3rd game in a week and the one against Metz at Thursday lasted 120 minutes. The new additions to the team has offered more quality to the attacking line but the team seems a little tired in the defense as in the last 3 games they have conceded 3 goals. Nimes keeps expanding their unbeaten streak with 4 wins and one draw in the last 5 games and has ensured their stay to the division. Maoulida is in excellent shape and keeps scoring. As it seems from their last two games they fixed some problems they had in the defense as they conceded only 1 goal while in the 3 previous games they had conceded 8! The win against Getafe was their first in their home this season and tonight they would like to double them. Sociedad will try to take their first away win as they are the only team in the division without one. After 10 away games without a win the team feels the need there is for one and that only causes them pressure. Away from home, Augsburg is quite a tight team, facing difficulties in scoring, but concedes, difficult, as well.

Wolfsburg were very good against Bayern Munich and won 4-1, at their opening match after the winter break. This was an awesome performance from Wolfsburg and today I think they can win the game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The mentality is on their side as new players and a new coach came and are ready to make a fresh start in the second round in this home game. Elche is a team that doesn't have many alternatives in their roster and today they have 4 important absences. Bundesliga starts again with a derby against the two first teams of the table (well not that interesting as it concerns who's gonna be the title holder in the end of the year). After a big break like this it's hard to make predictions since we don't know in what shape the teams are. I have a feeling that if Bayern is to lose one game this season it might be this one, but is not strong enough to put a big bet on it. What they need is not to lose today so they can keep their unbeaten record running get closer to the top (now in -4 away of the first 3 places) and also not to lose from a team above them in the table. Brest still hasn;t got back in shape after the Christmas holidays and have 2 consecutive games without winning or even scoring. they also had a hard time winning a 5th league team in the cup. Malaga is in good shape lately although they lost easily to Sevilla last round.In La Liga they are close to the places that lead to Europa League -which is their goal- but they can also achieve this from the Coppa del Rey competition. Their next opponent if they qualify will be either Sevilla or Espanyol and everyone has in the back of their mind that they can make it to the final. Bilbao is a cup team, but their current situation is really bad as they have lost 5 out 6 last games and in the one that they won against Celta were really lucky as everything they tried turned out to goal. They always play rough-that's their game- but yesterday they crossed a referee that would easily punish their hard play with yellow cards (and he did well) so they couldn't keep it that way but as it seemed they also didn't have a plan B on how to react. Great win for Barca, I think they shut a lot of mouths with that performance

Ofcourse the Blaugrana have the quality to react and prove everybody wrong, but they need to make a very good performance and also their forwards to deliver.Atletico seems like they have found the way to bit the 2 ''big'' of the spanish football. Last year in 6 games the lost none to Barcelona. A win in ''Camp Nou'' is what they still haven;t managed. Atletico is very good on free-kicks and corners and have scored 21 goals this way already and their defense is once more expected to be strong and stable. Then they lost to Bordeaux but in a game where they could have won and just payed the mistakes of a bad 10 minute-period. Tonight they should be really concentrared as they need the 3points and they can't be as relaxed as they were in the games against Bordeaux and Marseille. Metz was expected to lose from Marseille last round but besides that they also appeared tired in the game and i;m curious how they will be today. The french are without Lucas, Aurie and Cambaye while Marquinhos and Matuidi will play without being 100% ready. Of course they have big players that are there to "talk" in the big games. Chelsea is rested as they didn't have any game this weekend and they are also more confident as last year it was them that took the ticket to the semi-finals, but I don't expect Mourinho to take big risks today as he has the second leg in his home where Chelsea is more powerfull Draw @ 3.25 Marathonbet
