  1. Re: Champions League Comp Selections > Tuesday September 16th Monaco vs Bayer Leverkusen – Win for Bayer Leverkusen @ 2.20 Marathonbet This is a game for a really “open” group. Monaco seems the most weak team and I think that they finish last. They started the season very poorly and without Falcao and James Rodriguez they are a completely different team offensively. There are problems also on defense, Monaco conceded goal at 4/5 games on French League and I strongly doubt that they are able to handle a quality side like Leverkusen. The Germans started really good the season, they are undefeated in all competitions and they won 4/6 games scoring at least two goals in each one! Timing is a big factor in football and right now I think that Leverkusen is way better than Monaco. My pick is win for the Germans.

  2. Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > September 12th - 15th Sevilla vs Getafe – Sevilla To Win + Total Over 2.5 @ 2.04 Marathonbet When it comes to offence, Sevilla is always a team to speak about. Hosts scored in both opening games of Primera Division against Valencia (1-1) and Espanyol (win 1-2) and although they seem a little bit unprepared at the moment, they always has the home advantage against teams like Getafe. Visitors on the other side started with an away loss to Celta (3-1), but they bounced back with a win against Almeria. They didn’t convince anyone with their performance, defensively seem vulnerable and I think that tonight they will not stand. My pick is Sevilla to win + total Over 2.5.

  3. Re: Serie A TIM > Sunday September 14th Juventus vs Udinese – To Win To Nil Juventus @ 2.15 Marathonbet Juventus has turned their stadium in to a… fortress. Last year the record was the amazing 19-0-0 and in overall three years of it’s existence has lost only two times to Italian teams. Host begun new year with an away win to Chievo without conceiving goal, we expect them to do so also today against Udinese. Tevez is on the way to recover, maybe he will stay off in order to reach 100% physical level considering that next Tuesday Juventus is facing Malmo for the opening game of Champions League. My pick is Juventus to win to nil.

  4. Re: Euro 2016 Qualifying > Tuesday September 9th Norway vs Italy – Draw in 1st half + Italy to win at Full Time @ 4.20 Marathonbet New era for Italy, after the departure of Cesare Prandelli and the agreement with Antonio Conte, probably the most successful manager lately in the country. Conte comes from three straight championships for Juventus and will try to pass this winning mentality to the national team, which has a lot of quality. Visitors left very good impressions at the strong friendly match against Netherlands last Thursday, the won 2-0, both of the goals came on the first 10 minutes! Norway on the other side will fight for the second position of the group (Italy probably will take the first spot) against Croatia and maybe Bulgaria. “Vikings” lost 1-0 to England at Wednesday, but played good on defence. I believe that the hosts will manage to keep Italy not to score at the first half, but in the end the will lose from a better side.

  5. Re: Euro 2016 Qualifying > Monday September 8th Switzerland vs England – Over 2,5 @ 2.58 Marathonbet The most unpredictable game of the day, between the two best teams of the group. England is theoretically a better team than Switzerland, but very unstable and not trustworthy. Swiss side made a very good World Cup, passed the group phase second behind France and lost to Argentina to round of “16” on extra time. I don’t see a result in this game, everything could happen, but I believe that we will see at least 3 goals. Switzerland has talented players, a new coach (Vladimir Petkovic) and plays at home, England on the other side is bad defensively. My pick is Over 2,5.

  6. Re: Euro 2016 Qualifying > Sunday September 7th To Win To Nil – Germany @ 1.78 Marathonbet World champion Germany lost at home to Argentina 4-2 last Wednesday, on a unofficial rematch of the final of World Cup. Home side had many unavailable key players (Ozil, Hummels, Boateng, Schweinsteiger, Khedira) and lets not forget that Mertesacker, Lahm and Klose dropped out of national team and that transition is always difficult. But we are talking about the best team of the planet, with a lot of talent and enough solutions to win opponents like Scotland. I see reaction from Germany, they will try to impress their fans and beat Scotland easily, probably without conceding a goal. I appreciate the work of Gordon Strahan at the visitor side, but they do not have what it takes to stand against a much better team.

  7. Re: International Friendlies 3rd Sept - 7th Sept 2014 Germany vs Argentina Germany To Score - Both Halves @ 2.65 Marathonbet Very interesting friendly fixture tonight at Dusseldorf between the two teams that fought last July at the final of World Cup. Germany won the tournament, but now the team seems different. Philipp Lahm, Per Mertesacker and Miroslav Klose dropped out of “Die Mannschaft”, Marco Reus is back again and Joachim Low called some new faces. One of them is defender Antonio Rudiger of Stuttgart. Despite the fact that this game is a friendly, both managers are expected to name strong lineups, with Toni Kroos, Thomas Muller and Mats Hummels likely to start for the Germans. On the other hand, Argentina is expected with eagerness because of Gerardo Martino’s debut. Former coach of Barcelona named a strong side with Garay, Zabaleta, Mascherano, Di Maria, Higuain and Aguero on it, but Messi out with injury. Germany is a stronger side, besides the changes at calls of Low and I think that today is going to score easily against an Argentinian team that for now is still not ready.

  8. Re: Italy > Serie A TIM > 30th - 31st August Torino vs Inter half time tie/Inter win @ 5.70 Marathonbet One of the most interesting games of the first week on Serie A happens at Torino. The hosts start with a derby against Inter and i am really looking forward for this fixture, because it's about two teams that we are used to see play solid football. Both of them have been playing in the summer for Europe, so they will be ready, but i think this new looking Inter has an advantage. I believe that the first half is going to be tough for both teams to find rhythm, maybe a goal will be enough for the visitors to win this game (having in mind that Inter scored at least one goal at the last 9 visits at Torino).

  9. Re: Italy > Serie A TIM > 30th - 31st August Chievo vs Juventus win for Juventus with clean sheet @ 2.65 Marathonbet Finally, the action begins in Serie A. Crowned Juventus starts with an away game against Chievo that should not be proven puzzling. After the departure of successful Antonio Conte for the national team of Italy, Massimiliano Allegri makes his debut as the manager of "Vecchia Signora". The squad has hardly changed, key players like Pogba, Tevez, Marchisio remained, at the same time Juventus is dying to keep versatile midfielder Vidal not to tranfer to Manchester United. Champions didn't spend much on transfers, the most significant addition was striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid. In contrast, Chievo last year avoided relegation anxiously, the squad is probably one of the worst in Serie A and i don' think that has what it takes to challenge top level clubs of the league. Juventus won most of the games last year with clean sheet, i expect them to do also today.

  10. Re: UEFA Europa League > August 20th & 21st Real Sociedad-Krasnodar Real Sociedad has already had two games in Europa League and in the previous round left out Aberdeen with two wins (2-0 home 3-2 away). Sunday faces Eimpar for the first day of the Primera Division. Experienced defender Ansotegi is unavailable for the match against Krasnodar. Krasnodar participates in Europa League from the 2nd round and has four wins against Sillamae Kalev (4-0 away, 5-0 home) and Diosgyor (5-1 away, 3-0 home). Last Sunday Krasnodar won Rostov 2-0 away from home for the russian Premier League and has been undefeated in its 14 last games (10-4-0). Prediction: Stake 4/10, X2 @ 2.00

  11. Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2014/15 Groningen-Heracles Groningen was very good against Go Ahead Eagles last week kai won 3-2 away from home. Groningen played impressive football with quick counterattacks and tried lots of long shots. For the match against Heracles is expected to continue with the same lineup. Suspensions: Ben Moussa (M), Bos (M), Bakker (D), Burnet (D). Heracles was a big disappointment against AZ and lost 0-3 at home. The match against Groningen is very difficult for Heracles kai has a very small chance of winning. Suspensions: Vujicevic (M), Heerkes (M), Hemmink (M). Prediction: Stake 4/10, Groningen @ 1.73

  12. Re: all lower leagues and Cups Sweden Superettan 15/08 Varberg-Sirius Varberg: Last week won Landskrona 5-1 away from home and now it's five points away from the 3rd place. It is very strong at home and in 9 games there, has 4W-4D-1L record. Suspensions: Bjork (D, 3/0), Mellqvist (M, 9/2), Tillman (M, 8/0), Ayranci (A, 15/1) Sirius: Sirius has lost only once in its last 12 games, but has won one of the last five (1-3-1). Newcomers Sarfo and Saleh, both midfielders, are available for the match against Varberg. Suspensions: Sirelius (M, 3/0), Kack (D, 13/0), Runemo (A, 9/2). Prediction: Stake 3/10, Varberg (DNB)

  13. Re: Finland > Veikkausliiga > 2014 KuPS–MYPA KuPS: After two defeats in a row, KuPS won RoPS 1-0 last Sunday. It ‘s 4th with four points less than SJK and needs a good streak to improve its position in the standings. MYPA: Ineffective away from home, at its last eight away games has seven defeats and one draw. Last Sunday lost 0-1 at home from HJK. Suspensions: Sihvola (A, 19/7), Anttilainen (A, 4/0), Vesala (D, 8/2) Prediction: Stake 3/10, KuPS @ 1.92
