Re: Netherlands, Eredivisie - 17/19 Feb Is it me or has both eredivisie and eerste divisie been a bit confusing since winter break? The scoring has been inconsistent, the season started with a lot of 2h action but now it seems to have quiet down? Anyone with ideas on this? Is the weather playing a role in these matches?

Re: Germany - Bundesliga - 20-22 January Ok and now I placed another -0.25 wager on bayern only to have it cancelled cause they scored!!!

Re: Germany - Bundesliga - 20-22 January Over hits I'm gutted I placed -0.25 bayern in game only for them to go down 3-0 literally a min later :puke

Re: Brazil Serie A 2011 THREAD
Cruzeiro...internacional....??? You are mixing things up here.Avai vs Cruzeiro I am sorry for Avai that they will relegate. They have been spectacular last season when they managed to save themselves in last rounds, but now seems mission impossible. I do not hink although they will be defeated by Cruzeiro. Away side won against an Internacional without best player, Leandro Damiao. Internacional is dependent on this player totally. Cruziero has been poor away, has 3 wins and 3 draws with 11 defeats. Avai is not an easy team in Florianopolis and will to win the match. draw @ 3.50 with 5Dimes -
Re: Italy - Serie A - 15-16 October Well I have not wagered on the Serie A as much as I had a few seasons ago where the game was more open....I read an article on goal.com about how the Serie A has more goals than before, and I thought are you kidding me? There have been a few thrillers but really unlike seasons passed, there are only a few games you'll have a ton of goals while you'll generally have the typical low scoring affair. It's sad to see where this league is going, I was very happy to pass up this league last season as now the parity has been distributed more evenly. You also have to be aware that things do balance out, I'm eagerly awaiting how the books will adjust for the lines next weekend, will they be forced to go to o/u 2 or even o/u 1.75? I think the fact that this is a very very open Scudetto race teams are a bit more conservative...when it was rather automatic that Inter would win, teams really just said lets go for it, now teams have belief that they can beat Inter, they can beat Milan, they can beat Juve, etc so the defensive approach is taken. This is just my observation but I will wait till past the winter break to start wagering on this league again. gl gents

Re: Italy - Serie B - 8-9 October
no so much, its still early in the season but right now 46 games have gone under 2.5 while 42 have gone over 2.5 so really there is quite a balance here. Yes I too figured that Serie B would be an under league but right now you got teams such as Pescara, Empoli, and AlbinoLeffe who can score but also have terrible defense lol it's 0-0 HT but it's a fairly open game so farguys really what's wrong with pescara they play lots of game over 2.5. over 2.5 for pescara - citadella match is 1.5:eek what's wrong. it's italy b league such an underish league -
Re: WC 2014 Qualifying > 7-8 October good eye on the handicap against Canada....the national team has no creativity, just absolutely horrendous infront of the goal. Mind you BMO Field is probably a faster pitch to play on then where they will play this weekend. That 4-1 win in Toronto was meh, 2 quick goals, one from each team was pretty wild but things settle. A penalty kick goal and a cheap late goal sealed the deal. Canada will win but -5 is just ridiculous for a mediocore team. The line is not saying Canada is great, but rather, St. Lucia is shit lol

Re: U21 European Championship Qualification 6-8 October Not too sure what to say...watching this match it's clear Spain is a complete class above but they really look uninspired...they already knew from the start they would win but how many goals, they really only had 1 shot on target 2H and when they scored that 2nd goal, they just passed around and didn't do anything. The crowd jeered a lot and to be honest I would be pissed off as well, even though the home side didn't do much I'd expect a team of quality like Spain to just put on a show...but they didn't. One of the most boring 2-0 victories in awhile.

Re: Copa Sudamericana 2011/2012 unfortunate there nicko, I lucked out big time. I took u2.5 after that 1st goal and then just held my breath went off to do some errands to come back and see that it was 2-0 at HT. At times we gotta think that sometimes if you have two attacking playing each other, they cancel each other out, unless of course the defenses are really crap and depend on scoring as their best defensive weapon. But bare in mind, this is not Copa Libertadores where everything was at stake. This is 5 games loss in a row for Catolica, not a good sign at all. Two Cup games vs Uni de Concepion and then a big match at home vs Colo Colo before they play 2nd leg in Argentina. Going to keep an eye on this one. As for that Bolivia game, as you mentioned, it seems we know what the Brasilians focus is on right now and they are just following the same trend most teams leading the Brasil Serie A have done in years past. But of course I'm curious to know what if this was the Copa Libertadores...I think we can both agree that this cup is just as worthless to the bigger teams as the Europa League.

Re: Copa Sudamericana 2011/2012 nicko, I agree with Aurora, heck most of the Bolivian teams are freaking nuts, lots of drama in the last 15mins. As for the other match to be honest I am quite shocked the total is at o/u 2...I'm pretty sure this is a rather fluid and open game but wow only 2? Are we getting tricked? Once that line goes up to much more ideal odds, I have to hit it. The line is suggesting that Velez will win though just because they tend to take command of their matches and so far the goals have not come in like it has last season, so have to see the intention of Catolica and if they even would even try to attack.

Re: UEFA Europa League > 29 September easy stuff mate! well played

Re: UEFA Europa League > 29 September nice work there rusty! crazy this game has 4 goals, game just opened up with that PAOK goal
-
Re: Italy - Serie A - 24-25 September this has definitely been one of the more tougher starts in the Serie A that I have been apart of. Right now the parity is not big. The goal rate also has been iffy although for many years it's been a league of very conservative play but it was pretty open 2 seasons ago. Palermo would of been the most reliable teams to get goals on the road but I"m still at awe they not only couldn't score against Lazio but they managed a clean sheet!?

Re: Italia Lega Pro thread 2011/12 great call on Frosinone fellas!

Re: Italy - Serie B - 23-26 September I think those 2 quick early goals shocked Reggina....the away side definitely were looking for a response and pounded at the goal but came out with nothing. I got suckered into taking in game -0.25 @ 2.04 thought this would of been a pretty good punt considering the circumstances in game but thus no luck! Also notice the rise of goals right now....is this going to continue? as I type this it's now 3-1...can I get like a useless 3-2? lol

Re: Irish Leagues & Cups - September ouch not the result we wanted.

Re: UEFA Europa League > 15 September good results for everyone so far, hope it continues for the next batch

Re: UEFA Europa League > 15 September PSV got a big game vs Ajax this weekend, any chance we see them just slow down a bit? Perhaps in game would be ideal in this situation.
-
Re: Italia Serie A second round agree on the over there ultra, seems Atalanta is playing a free for all type of football. Palermo as usual....seem to fair pretty well for goals, what I love about Palermo is if they score first they will go for another, if they get scored upon the game opens up, most teams just score and then sit.

Re: UEFA Europa League > 15 September
To say you know Stoke inside out is also somewhat misleading, unless you are actually part of their squad who's to say you know what sort of tactic Pulis will be playing, you know when the players would show up for camp? Mahno made a suggestion, did he directly insult you? No he didn't he voiced an opinion, just like you have. I've known Mahno for a few years now and his views on Ukranian football is vital...sure he may not know a lot about Stoke but you sure as hell don't know anything about Dynamo Kiev either. You make solid points...stick to them, but don't lamblast others for their own opinion on a game. The more you sound like a tool people will refer you to just that, a tool.Pulis doesn't like to buy someone and throw them in several games in row. I know it sounds strange but that's just the way he is. Rememeber he's still taking : Sorenson : His number one for many seasons and still very close to being no.1 Shawcross : His first choice CB (no matter the bigger names of upson/woodgate) Palacios : new cm/dm Walters : An ever present up front for sometime now Jones : Big money signing from last season Pennant : main winger at least on level in Pulis and Stoke fans mind with Etherington Jerome : new singing I genuinly believe Pulis believes he is taking out a very strong competitive squad. I can't emphasis enough his preference to integrate players gradually and keep a spine together and team spirit. -
Re: Canada » CSL Ah yes my mistake.... The bus ride from London to Toronto (where they will be playing) is about 5.5hrs, its not the most pleasant. It's very very very hot here around 35 degrees, yes it cools down a bit at night but for the most part this is the hottest weekend we'll have in the area. Hope that can help you out a bit.

Re: Canada » CSL The Impact played on Wednesday night...that's fairly standard

Re: Irish Leagues - June/July Good call on Sligo Kiddo, hoping Doyle can net in that hattrick for you! One thing I've learnt from Irish Leagues..the parity of the top teams to the bottom is pretty significant!
