ReasoningVery simple here; Safin was pathetic last week' date= and I'd be looking to oppose him with virtually any player in the draw. We have Fish to oppose him with, and I'm very happy with that. Fish is still trying to get his ranking back to where it should be after a nightware with injuries and he's got some very solid performances and results this year. He's coming here after a break after Newport where he did pretty when but ran into Scud who was unbreakable that week. I think fish can have a very good summer, and especially in the slightly smaller events should be looking for decent points. His aggresive style will be able to rush Safin and the mood Safin seems to be in lately he could well blow up. I'm quite surprised to see Safin favourite for this and I'm very willing to take this offer of 2.35.
I hope this hits MR I. A logical play. Safin lost last week to a player ranked 512. Fish can play on hardcourts...best of luck :hope
  2. Re: darts, world matchplay

I'm backing Part as well mate. Don't read too much into Part's win over Newton though because Newton missed more doubles than you'll have chips when you win the WSoP :rollin . Taylor was 3-0 down last night before he powered past Anderson. I suspect if he's 3-0 down to Part though, he won't be coming back!
Taylor looked well off last night and there was more to it than the heat on stage. His lucky he was playing Anderson, no disrespect to Bob Anderson, if taylor was playing a top 6 player he would have been knocked out. best of luck with your play guys!

Manley might not have known the way to Amarillo but he knows the way home now! Great performance from Hamilton. He's some prospect, recently it's taken either Taylor or Barney to get rid of him. Hamilton beat Barney in the qualifiers for this. One to keep on the right side of.
Correct me if I am wrong guys but doesnt Hamilton meet Adrian lewis now??? On todays performance lewis doesnt stand a chance. he loses concentration!!
  4. Re: Twenty20 Cup Cricket

That and the fact that Surrey are a massive name in cricket and are often overrated with bookies mate. Lewis not playing is a loss as he's Gloucester's best bowler but they've done without him in the competition before and gone along nicely.
Surrey are one of the mosy inconsistent teams around. At home in thistourny they had been out for a lot of low scores.. i think one of them was on sky when they made just about 140.
