I have been collating Half time stats ( Sots, soffts, corners, frees etc ) for all the games from a few different different leagues as I couldn't find any website, free or subscription that gave me this sort of historical data in a usable format. ( Rball.com do it but it's pretty much un useable ) Other sites do HT scores available for lots of leagues but this sort of info is of little or no use. You need to know posession, sots to have any idea of how a game was played out. Having a few jars last evening a mate suggested that sort of info is something people would find very useful ( I know I do ) and should share. Either free or otherwise. As I figured it takes a lot of effort on my own part each sat afternoon to collect the data during the intervals and so would want to have some sort or renumeration for if shared, is this data something that you as a punter would consider paying a small charge to use?

I just want to put up the lays I have picked for today, and the next few days. And ( fingers crossed ) if things go as they have been going for the past month or so with around 100 games selected I will be revealinig all in due course when I let ye observe my growing bank :) Lets begin ... Have had mixed results using prediction sites so I just did my own guessing as I was having as much luck on my own. However I did take one site and analyse their prediction efforts. WinDrawWin.com would have left me a broken man if I had followed their predictions for Croatia Div2 away wins. 2 out of 28 efforts correct. Less than 5%. Dismal to say the least. However in the Moldovan Div1 league on Home win predictions they hit a success rate of 36 out of 41 predictions, around 85%. I proceeded to take their advice on a round of Moldovan Div1 matches and their predictions held up. On the EPL they were a a very poor 42% success rate on 65 home win predictions. ( Jan to some date in March was my sample period ) What I would like now to do is take a few more sites and compare them and see who knows what on the different leagues. Maybe use a majority logic system. If 2 out of 3 sites say to bet on team A for a home win AND these two sites have a 70% or greater correct prediction rate for the corresponding league then take the bet.

Looking at historical results in http://www.oddsportal.com/soccer/sweden/allsvenskan/results/ and I wanted to know if anyone knows how to get the individual handicap odds for the games without having to click on each on. I'm trying to run some analysis of results vs bookies predictions. I can simply get the results for each game just by selecting all the page but not so for the handicaps :(

Re: Results vs bookies odds I also pulled out the average odds the bookies give you and the odds are very similar in both leagues. So if you were to bet blindly on the odds on favorite in Portugal you would have almost twice the returns than if you applied the same betting strategy to the PL. Obviously cause the bookies always win that equates to "your losses will be halved if you only bet on the Portugal league"

I've been analysing data from oddsPortal and I have noticed the following. In the Portuguese league the odds on favorite wins OVER twice as often as the odds on favorite wins in the PL. This statistic stands up across 500 matches over the past 3 seasons. Any one have any ideas why this would be the case? Do the bookies have a harder time picking winners in the PL than other leagues. It's also a similar trend in the Bundesliga, although not quiet as big a difference but still ALMOST twice as often.

This is an example game from Germany from last season on oddsPortal http://www.oddsportal.com/soccer/ger...yqCCHm8/#1X2;2 It has Bayern as slight favs to win at 13/10. Ok, now I look at their odds to win with a (-1) handicap. So in European Handicaps I see they are quoted at 33/100. !!! How can that be? That means the odds are saying they are more likely to win by at least 2 goals than by one. Obviously I'm reading the info incorrectly but what am I reading wrong?

Have been road testing my system the past 4 months and results have surpassed even the most optimistic projections with my test data. Anyways enough about that. 2000 bets later , across a whole range of bookies, I find myself losing accounts left right and centre. In fairness I have made steady profit in every account I have opened but getting the door from all these bookies it is starting to pee me off. I put a lot of work into this and just want a fair crack at making a few bucks by out smarting the college boy traders or who ever the bookies use to set their prices. I questioned Sky on why I am being limited to a few pound per bet and that if they really wanted to save money they could make use of my betting patterns to set their prices correctly but they declined to let me back into the betting fold.
Any tips I have can be from between 6 hrs from the start right up to 20 min from the start. Some of these with short lived prices which I take advantage. What is the best way to post these so as to let people judge for themselves and have a decent chance of getting on them. Do I just set up another thread which I update as the day goes on? I will let my results speak for themselves.
