  1. Re: Euroleague, Final four 28-30/4 Winner of Final Four I am laying Maccabi overall also as I don't think they will win it again this year. First they will have to pass TAU, and it's not gona be easy task at all, and infact I think TAU will kick them out already in first game, and even if they pass them, in other game there are two very strong teams - CSKA and Barcelona. All in all, I lay Maccabi to win Final Four, [email protected] GL~

  2. Maccabi - TAU I decided to lay Maccabi in this match. They are winners of Euroleague two times in a row in last two years of course, but this year they had some ups and downs and they are not that great as in the past imo. Or at least they are not playing that great although they still have lot's of players from past years. I see TAU as more compact team, and I think they will prove tonight that it wasn't a surprise they eliminated Panathinaikos in 1/4 final. Lay Maccabi, [email protected]. GL~

  3. Re: Basketball Euroleague 12-13th April Barcelona - Real Madrid Third game of the 1/4 finals between Barca and Real. Each teams won their home games. But Barca was more convincing in first match at home when they won with +14. And now they will have to repeat the same result. To win of course, and I think they are very capable to do so and cover the -5.5 handicap. Ok, Real won in their recent league match in Barca, but it's gona be different now. In Spanish league Barca can afford to loose now and then coz they are first and Real isn't in some great situation, so that loss was due to pure motivational factor if you ask me. Simply Real was more fired up for it. I just can't see Real wining in Barca in this decisive match. No way. To win two times in Barca in 5 days? Hell no.. I'm on Barca here to win and cover the -5.5 handicap, [email protected]. High stakes. And also Barca just to win, [email protected]. Max stakes. GL~

  4. Re: ULEB Cup final Tuesday, 11.04.06 Aris - Dynamo Moscow So it's the final of Uleb Cup tonight. -The game will be played in Charleroi Belgium, in famous Spirou Arena. -Aris will feel like home because 5000 fans from Greece will be there to support their team, while only 500 Russian fans are expected. -Dynamo started this year with big expectations, and with big budget also! But I don't like such teams, because money is not a guarantee for top results. Still they made it to the final and totaly deserved it. Although in Russian league they are still not in top 5. -Aris is a club with big tradition in Greece, and with the best and craziest fans in the world. As I wrote earlier they will feel like home in this match because they will have support of 5000 fans. -Both teams won their groups, Dynamo had 8-2, and Aris 7-3 score. -No doubt Dynamo is favorite in this final, they have bigger budget and so far in Uleb cup they showed more. But Aris is tough team to break with great defence, and able to match up with any opponent. -Still, for this final I think the chances are 55-45 in favor of Russian team. -It's one game, and the quality diference( if there's any) isn't such as the odds are reflecting. And I don't trust Russian teams, CSKA was great last year like Dynamo was this year, but they dissapointed in the end in final four. And the coach was who? Ivkovic, current coach of Dynamo.. -I suggest a handicap on Aris +5,5, and also Aris to win. Odds are crazy, and I'm not gona think twice! Whole world is on Dynamo, so now we have great odds for Aris, just what I've been waiting for! -Pick Aris to win, [email protected]. GL~

  5. Re: Euroleague Top 16, 22/23 March Olympiakos - Barselona Sofokllis SCHORTSANITIS is 21 year old center in Greek side. In 18 games so far in Euroleague he managed to go over 12 pts just 5 times. His average per game in Euroleague is almost 10pts. His team Olympiakos plays now with strong Barselona side, and I can't see Sofoklis score more then 12 pts in this game with strong Spanish squad. So pick Sofoklis Under 12.5pts, [email protected]. GL~

  6. Re: Euroleague Top 16, 22/23 March Maccabi - Climamio The fifth round of GROUP 'E' TOP16 Euroleague. Real M and Maccabi battling for first place. They have 3wins and one loss. While Climamio and Ulker have 1 win and 3 losses. This is last chance for Climamio if they want to have some slim chance for progressing. They already beat Maccabi in Italy, but they have to beat them again because they have just one win. They know it's gona be tough for them to win in Israel with Maccabi, and they know if they want to do so they will have to slow down the tempo, and play hard defence and a game with not many points. I like this UNDER 169.5pts, [email protected] And decided to take them high stakes. GL~

  7. Re: Euroleague Top 16, 22/23 March Efes - Panathinaikos, Panathinaikos -2.5, [email protected] Panathinaikos started the TOP 16 with 3 losses. And that was a big surprise because they were the team to beat in Group stages. They won last game at home and trashed Cibona with 19pts at home, and the good thing now is that they still have chances for progressing. They need to win this game more then 3 pts, and then next one with Benetton more then 7 pts. I think they are very capable to do so. Efes is struggling lately. They won first game in TOP 16, but then lost next 3. They will again be without their main shooting guy Popovic, and the news is also that Prkacin will probably miss the game. He's very important player from inside for Efes. All in all I think Greek team in current situation is better team and the moomentum is on their side. My pick is on them -2.5. GL~

  8. Euroleague Top 16 CSKA - Bamberg, Bamberg +18.5 asian, P[email protected] CSKA already qualified with 4 wins and without loss. Bamberg on the other hand have 4 loses and of course haven't won yet in top 16. CSKA won the first game in Germany with 11pts diference. But Bamberg gave them hard time in whole game. I think they will give them hard time again. Bamberg is hard working team and never give up easily. CSKA is already qualified and they may relax now a bit. While Bamber is seeking for their first victory in top 16. I'm not saying Bamberg will will this game, but definetely I will play a huge handicap on them +18.5. In the end I think CSKA should win it, but not more then 18 pts. GL~

  9. Re: European Basketball 6-12 March Euroleague Top 16 Panathinaikos - Efes, Under 153.5pts. Third round of Euroleague Top 16. In group G, surpisingly Panatihnaikos so far have 2 losses, after having the best record in group stages of all teams. So now it's die or live for them. If they fail, the final four will only be a dream. And of course they don't have to win just this game, but all remaining games in gruop. First they have to beat Efes today. Efes also is showing some poor form lately, loosing to Cibona at home with low score 63-69. Efes lost their best player and scorer Popovic, so they are seriously weakened, especially in attack. So both teams in not perfect form. I expect nervous and cautions game from hosts as they desperately have to chase the win. Efes will have to focus on defending if they won't to try to do something. All in all I suggest Under 153.5pts in this game. High stakes, [email protected]. Efes in last game without Popovic played 63-69, so 132pts total. While Pana last two games in Euroleague had 142, and 145pts games. So everything points out for low scoring game again. GL~

  10. Efes - Cibona So it's the second round of Euroleague's top 16. Cibona made a surprise in first round beating at home big favorite Panathinaikos. Efes also made a surprise winning away in Italy. But for this match they will be without their first pointguard Popovic. Cibona is red hot lately, and Penn/Davison duo is working like never before. I think Cibona find the right rhytm and we should back them max stakes for this +9.5 handicap. I think they are very capable now to beat Efes, like they did tvice this season, so I'm gona take this pick with max stakes, and also put few units on Cibona to win. Cibona +9.5 AH, B[email protected]. 10/10 Cibona to win, [email protected] 3/10 GL~

  11. Re: International Friendlies (28 February-1 March 2006) Portugal - Saudi Arabia

Portugal playing friendly match with Saudi Arabia in neutral ground. - It's well known fact that Portugal is one of the top European teams. They have many quality players in the team and they will all be available and will play this match. Deco, Figo, Ronaldo, Pauleta and others are ready for this clash, and if they play with 60% of their potential they will still win pretty easily this match with Saudi Arabia team, which is not capable to handle with better European teams for sure. - But because it's a friendly, and sometimes weird results happen, I'm not gona risk more then 7 units. Homewin........[email protected]. GL~
  12. Re: International Friendlies (28 February-1 March 2006) Republic of Korea - Angola Friendly match in Seoul. Home team Korea hosts team from Africa, surprise package of African Qualifications for World Cup. - Korea is very strong at home, they have many European based players, and as a team they are team to admire. - They had many friendlies in last months. In November they played two games at home, they won 2-0 with S&M and drew 2-2 with Sweden. So both strong or top European teams, and much better then their opponent today, Angola. - Angola qualified for World Cup, but in Afircan Cup of Nations they didn't show nothing. They are just average Aftrican soccer nation. - I don't give them a chance in Seoul, and even though this is a friendly, home team is much better and at home they shouldn't have problems beating this African side. Homewin. Max stakes. [email protected] 10/10 And Korea -1 EH, [email protected]. 6/10 GL~

  13. Re: Uleb Cup, 1/4 finals Hemofarm - Reggio Emilia First leg of Uleb Cup 1/4 finals. Hemofarm hosting Italian team Reggio Emilia. - Hemofarm will be without their best player and scorer Conley. - These two teams met in group stages, and both have won their home game. Hemofarm won with 9 points diference at home, and Reggio Emilia with 19pts. - Reggio Emilia improved drastically lately, and they have won 5 of their last 6 games in strong Italian league. Hemofarm is not in good form, and they will miss for this game important Conley, so I'm gona try here a pick on visitors. Awaywin ML(inc.OT), Pinnacle [email protected]. Lower stakes. GL~

  14. Lottomatica Roma - Hapoel Migdal It's the 1/4 finals of the ULEB CUP. - Roma hosting Hapoel in first match. They were in same group in group stage of the Cup, and in both games the scoreline was high. 91-94 for Hapoel in Rome, and 95-84 for Lottomatica in Isreal. - But this is something else, it's 1/4 finals and we can expect much more nervous and defensive games then before. - Even Pesic, coach of Roma said that we can forget about those games, and that score won't be so high as back then.. - He also said that his team is a bit tired, and if we take in consideration that Hapoel also is not briliant in their league, probably coz of same reason, I think we can expect,or better to say we won't see some great spectacle but rather one tough and nervous game. - I suggest this bet. High stakes. Under 164.5pts, StanJames@1.90 GL~

  15. Re: Winter Olympics Also, in adition to earlier picks, these two should be bankers, if they don't fell during a race, but hope they won't..:) Anja Paerson (SWE) to finish in top 3 The news is that Janica won't run the Giant Slalom tomorow. That leaves only couple of others that might win it. Anja is first favourite, and only if she fell or something (hope not), she won't win a medal. - She's superior in Giant Slalom, and at least a silver is in her pocket. Only Rienda Contreras will be her big rival for gold. Others are not that fast. - She won gold in Slalom, and she's hungry for more. And she's first in standings in G-Slalom in World Cup. 10/10 on her for top3. [email protected] M.J. Rienda Contreras (ESP) to finish in top 3 The news is that Janica won't run the Giant Slalom tomorow. That leaves only couple of others that might win it. - And only two in my eyes that can do so are Paerson and Rienda Contreras. - Rienda is having exellent season in Giant Slalom in World Cup, and she's just behind Paerson in standings. - This is her speciality and she didn't race yet(if I'm not wrong) in these Olympics, so she have one more weapon then the other skiiers which already skiied in couple of disciplines, and are definetely beggining to be tired. - So, fresh and ready Contreras will be tough opponent for Paerson tomorow. - All in all she should end in top 3 easy. - So Rienda Contreras to finish in top 3. [email protected]. 10/10. GL~ ;)

  16. Re: Winter Olympics Olympics, Giant Slalom - WOMEN Anja Paerson (SWE) to win gold The news is that Janica won't run the Giant Slalom tomorow. That leaves only couple of others that might win it. And odds on all of them are still high. So decided to take them all, and still if any of them wins it, it's profit.. This pick is on Pearson. She won gold in Slalom, and she's hungry for more. Anyway, she's first in standings in G-Slalom in World Cup, so she's first favourite. So Paerson to win gold, [email protected] 10/10 M.J. Rienda Contreras (ESP) to win gold This pick is on Spanish hope Rienda Contreras. She's having exellent season in World Cup, and she's just behind Paerson in standings for Giant Slalom. And I rate her as second favourite for tomorow also. So Rienda Contreras to win gold, [email protected] 8/10 Nicole Hosp (AUT) to win gold This pick is on Nicole Hosp to win gold. She's third favourite in my eyes. She was exellent in Slalom two days ago and won silver medal, and she looks like capable of compeeting for gold in Giant Slalom also. She's fourth in the G-Slalom standings in the World Cup, behind Paerson, Contreras and Kostelic. Hosp to win gold, [email protected] 4/10 Kathrin Zettel (AUT) to win gold This is pick on Zettel to win gold. I rate her as fourth favourite to win in Giant Slalom. She's fifth in the World cup standings, she's very young and talented, and on his day she can ski very good and fast. She's definetely contender for medals. Zettel to win gold, [email protected] 3.10 And that's four ladies that in my eyes might win it. All others are out of contest for gold medal. GL~

  17. Re: Euroleague 23/02 Real Madrid - Maccabi, Anthony Parker to score more then 15.5pts For this game Maccabi's top scorer Solomon won't play. That means one thing, Parker will be first ofensive option for them. - Parker's average scoring in Euroleague so far is 15pts, and now in this game when Solomon won't play, I expect Parker to break his average limit of 15pts, and probably to even pass 20 point mark. He's very capable doing that.. So my pick is A.Parker to score more then 15.5pts, [email protected]. GL~

  18. Re: Winter Olympics Olympics, Slalom MEN. - 25th February. Benjamin Raich is not the first favourite in Slalom simply because he 'fell' so many times in World Cup races, even though he was many times best after first run. - But if we have to analyze he's speed and tehnique and everything else, he is without doubts best tehnical skiier around.. - And he proved that already winning gold in Giant Slalom. - I think with that gold he broke the ice, and now no one will be able to stop him in Slalom race. - Rocca won five races in a row in World Cup, but in Torino he's not looking at his best looking from his results from combined event.. And he feels pressure from whole Italy to win a medal. And I think he will win it, but not gold.:) MAX STAKES ON RAICH! He deserves it.. B.Raich to finish in top 3, [email protected]. B.Raich to win gold, [email protected] GL~

  19. Re: Winter Olympics Olympics, Slalom MEN. - 25th February. Benjamin Raich to win gold. Beni Raich is not the first favourite in Slalom simply because he 'fell' so many times in World Cup races, even though he was many times best after first run. 20. Re: Winter Olympics Alpine skiing, Combined, MEN Giorgio Rocca to win gold. Rocca is the man of the Slalom this year. He won 5 races in a row. In downhill he's average, and infact he isn't racing downhiall exept in Combined events, but despite that, he is able to do good and fix things with Slalom race, and fight for medals. So far in Combined events in World Cup he didn't look too much determined, but I'm sure in this Olympics in his country, he'll do his best to win a medal even in this contest. And then later to concentrate full on Slalom race, 10 days from now. So he must be taken with few units. Rocca to win gold, [email protected] 3/10 Rocca to finish in top 3, [email protected] 6/10 GL~ kamei

  21. Re: Winter Olympics Alpine skiing, Combined, MEN Bode Miller (USA) to win gold. Bode was fifth in the downhill couple of days ago. And that's a good sign. He's in good form. If he just don't fall down or miss a gate, he has good chances to make it top 3 imo. And win a gold also, why not. But, 'only' if he don't make big mistakes in slalom.. But anyway, he deserves to be taken.. He's the best all rounder between them all. And it's time he has some luck. Miller to win gold. [email protected]. 4/10 And Miller to be in top3 [email protected]. 9/10

  22. Re: Winter Olympics Alpine skiing, Combined, MEN Shonfelder (AUT) to finish top3 Again good price for a skiier which is very capable to fight for medals. And more then Svindal. He did good in last couple of Combined in world cup, which is very important thing to have in mind. His strong point is Slalom, and if he can run some decent time in Downhill, he will be in top spots for sure. Shonfelder to finish in top 3 positions, [email protected]. Shonfleder to win gold, [email protected]. 2/10
