Re: Russ' Rags Yeah seen it's been heavily backed i think 7/2 & 10/3 was available earlier think it might drift a bit when we get the show though, Wachman's horse may get backed due to the Fallon Factor!

Afternoon guys, Don't usually post on here too often read it all the time though i'm basically just lazy!!! However after being lucky enough to have a few winning picks in the Royal Ascot Tipster Competition i thought i'd share my thoughts on my idea of a NAP for today. The selection runs in todays Chesham Stakes which is the 2.30 Ascot and is Mark Johnston's Always Fruitful. Okay here's a few stats: All 3 runs up to now have been over 6 furlongs, but each time has shaped as if 7 furlongs would be the optimum trip and finally gets his wish today. First time out won a maiden at ripon on good ground and despite running greenly managed to get up and shaped as if todays trip of 7 furlongs would suit. On its next outing at Ponty he was a well beaten 4 lengths second by Tuesdays Coventry winner Hellvelyn however ground may not have been to suit (Godd to Soft) and again 6 furlongs may not have been the best, and we must remember that the Coventry is a much better race and Hellvelyn is now being touted as a possibility for next years guineas. Last time out finished a length behind Sadeek on Good to Firm another animal which ran creditably in the coventry finishing 8th. When finishing behind Sadeek at Epsom it was slowly away and gave away 6 lengths which is a slight concern however it was steaming towards the end runniing on very strongly and did brilliantly to reduce the gap to just 1 length which again adds weight to the belief that todays extended 7 furlong trip would be ideal. With good to firm ground again today and being well drawn in 4 i really can't see past it and strongly recommend it to everyone. Now i've tipped it up it'll no doubt end up 20 lengths last and i'll end up with egg on my face.:hope :hope For those of you considering a punt on it, it's a best priced 11/4 with quite a few. Cheers guys, Russ

Re: cheltenham - ONE BET Hey Aliando Don't mean to sound like a drag but O'Muircheartaigh is a horse i followed earlier in the season and to be fair was very impressive in its first couple of runs but was found a bit wanting on its latest appearance when beaten by Iktitaf. Now originally the trainer O'Grady did say that he was only going to run it once and keep it under wraps for Cheltenham, however it seems that Mr O'Grady and connections got a little greedy and went chasing a little bit of extra Prize Money to spend on the Guinness over here, and last i heard it was reported lame which is a great shame as it had performed with great promise in its first two runs, and if it could reproduce that form then no doubt IMO it's one of the leading contenders. Anyway that's enough of me dampening the mood best of luck matey and i hope that i'm very much mistaken. All the best mate:ok

Re: russnuss's dead certs Yeah only a buffoon would try and lock someone else out of the forum only to realise that they had infact locked themselves out. You truly are a genius aren't you Dan? Oh yes it certainly has gone quiet over there.

Re: russnuss's dead certs Still at least his mum thinks he's handsome. Bless

Re: russnuss's dead certs And as if that's not proof enough check the spelling mistakes on both posts, what a lying backstabber you really are Dan, if that's your real name ...................... SICK MAN:puke :puke :puke

Re: Post Count Okay mate cheers, didnt realise i'd racked up so many during these long and lonely nights!

Myself and a fellow user, who wishes to remain unknown (BigErn) are wondering why our post counts have been severely diminished? Mine has come down from around 215 to 101 and BigErns has dropped from well over 100 to 11. If anyone could help we'd be very grateful. Cheers Russnuss feat. BigErn

just a couple of polite ones today.... 2.10 plumpton- i really fancy this progressive palm island to win this and overturn mccCoy's ride in this race, got quality form on this harsh soft/heavy ground. 4.55 plumpton- the progressive anna panna, looks to be improving sort, solid form, constantly been backed in all day, now around 4/1. wolves 5.35- Ektishaaf, has been backed in from 33's now around 8/1, obviously well fancied, but only had a polite e/w bet on this one....:drums :dude

Re: 3.40 Lingield today I don't understand, have you backed it or not? If you haven't i would save your pennies, and would suggest you back it for a place only bet on the fair. I don't like to tip up favs but think that prince charlemagne will take all the beating today; as you have said its last 2 wins have come over C&D and was very impressive LTO, add to that the highly rated James Doyle will be taking to the saddle claiming 7 i really feel it's the banker of the day and would urge you to snap up the 9/5 available with sporting odds before it disappears. GL with whatever you go with though mate:ok .

Re: Flat Season 2007 After seeing youmzain run yesterday and having backed it a few times last year i'm convinced it'll be one to keep the right side of this year. Also like duke of marmalade for the guineas if its attitude is right, has the ability IMO just needs to get his head down and race. Sure there'll be more to come now that the real racing is starting :tongue2 Cheers guys Russ
