[NEW ELO RATINGS FORMAT]

Hi Sir Puntalot,

Thank you for taking the time to get back to me. I checked out what you said in your reply and you are right it is my browser that has been causing the problem. I normally use 'Mozilla Firefox' as my default browser and the ELO RATINGS show up all squeezed up on the left hand side of the screen in black and white with each rating value taking up a line on the page and each value one under the other going down the page making it very hard to make out which rating is which,

However I have just tried accessing the 'Ratings' on another browser (Google Chrome) and the display screen page shows up as normal (ie.  as it was before) .. much easier to read and to understand. I will be using this browser from now on when accessing your ;Ratings' page.

[NEW ELO RATINGS FORMAT]

Hi,

I am writing to comment on the change of format in the ELO ratings display. I am not a fan of the new look screen display of the ratings. The old display format, in color and with the various rating values shown horizontally across the page was easy to read and made the understanding of the information displayed simple. However this new display format, has the information squeezed into one elongated column on one side of the page. Added to this the fact that the ELO rating figures are in plain test and all squeezed up into a one side of the page and listed, one figure under another down the page makes it extremely difficult to distinguish the data displayed and take any meaningful understanding of the ratings for each match. In short the old format was simple and straightforward to the eye and easy to understand, whereas the new display is hard work on the eye and difficult to understand. The change I feel does not improve the product in fact it puts me off accessing the ELO ratings now and I tend now to use other sites for my stats and match information.

Can we go back top the old display or at least give us both displays so that we have a choice of which display to use ? I know which one I would choose , there is no contest as far as I am concerned.
