  1. Re: Fulham v Norwich City > Saturday April 12th Former Norwich striker Dean Ashton, speaking about the Canaries' decision to dismiss manager Chris Hughton: "It was a massive gamble to sack Chris Hughton but they got to a stage where enough was enough. The chairman said around Christmas we can't get relegated."It is also a massive gamble bringing in Neil Adams but the players have got to take some responsibility for the club's form. For me Norwich can't lose the game today."

  7. Re: Europa League > Thursday March 13th

I will try my luck in-play on most games tonight, no early bets. Except one - Total Cards in Sevilla - the line is set at Over 5,5 Cards, which for an Andalusian derby is too low, and I will take it at 1,61, with medium to high stakes. I haven't checked who the referee will be, but even if he is British or German (who allow a slightly more ''open'' game) the line bookmakers are giving is a joke. The is THE GAME of the region, and I doubt that both teams will finish with 11 men on the pitch, especially in the second game.
Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir. He has shown an incredible 36 yellow cards and three reds in just eight club games since mid-January. Btw. You shoul know him... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/9912050/Turkish-referee-Cuneyt-Cakirs-history-of-sending-off-England-based-players-in-big-matches.html
  8. Re: FA Cup Quarter Finals > March 8th & 9th

Sunday previews: 3pts Hull vs Sunderland - Draw 12/5 Betfred I envisage this to be a tough game which will be hard fought all the over the park. I’m not expecting too many goals in this game especially with Hull without their two strikers and I wouldn’t be surprised if 90 minutes isn’t enough to split them and we have to head back to the Stadium of Light. Neither side will give up the chance of a trip to Wembley easily so the draw looks a fair price to me here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/hull-vs-sunderland-betting-honours-can-be-shared-at-the-kc-stadium /QUOTE] Somebody told me a draw means extra-time. Is that right, pls?

  13. Re: West Bromwich Albion v Fulham > Saturday February 22nd Read that Magath believes Saturday's fixture at West Brom is "probably the most important game in this club's history". "We are not in a time to develop something, only to make points. We are behind others. It's not enough for us to draw, we have to win”, said Magath. Fulham have not lost any of their last six Premier League games against West Brom (W3, D3), Magath has already called the Fulham squad in for extra training sessions and I think there’s a chance that the new coach effect will work better for Fulham than West Brom with Pepe Mel still searching for his first victory. 14. Re: Sky Bet Championship > February 22nd & 25th

I am very close to back Blakpool at home @ 2' date='20. Want to go with a 6 7 stake here. Home team is starting play better, and this is the good opportunity to finally clinch an home win. Birmingham however are master in drawing and this scares me a bit. But this is the only fixture I am attracted today, now i have to perform some stuff, then come back to study better this. Also, in favor of the Seasiders, is to finally have full team, and also i suppose Ricardo Fuller back in action.[/quote'] Team-news BBC: Blackpool caretaker manager Barry Ferguson has a fully-fit squad for the visit of former club Birmingham. Striker Bobby Grant (knee) is back in training along with forward Tom Barkhuizen who fractured his collarbone in January. Birmingham manager Lee Clark may recall Brian Howard, Olly Lee, Albert Rusnak, Peter Lovenkrands and Nikola Zigic. Jonathan Spector is also in contention after making a comeback from a thigh injury for the Under-21s on Monday.
  15. Re: FA Cup > February 15th - 17th

Cardiff will play for 100%' date=' maybe they want to focus on Pl and avoid relegations?[/quote'] BBC: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says that he aims to follow Wigan by winning the FA Cup from a lowly league position - but wants to survive the drop too. "They proved last season what the FA Cup was all about, a chance for smaller clubs to win trophies," Solskjaer said. "I would like to go one better than they did and win the cup and stay up, but in any way, shape or form, if you play in a cup game you want to win it." Uwe Rosler insists that they will not sacrifice their defence of the FA Cup to keep players fresh for a tilt at the Championship play-off places. "The club is proud to be the holders of the famous trophy," he said. "The win over Sheffield Wednesday took a lot out of them. We will bring fresh legs in. "Everybody will be trying to get into the last eight, that's our aim."
