    Same teams play each other twice in a night. Why?

    Also I often see team A, the favourites beat team B. A few hours later they play each other again but team B are favourites. I don't get it.

    Been dutching a bit on the football this season and want to include betfair prices for next year. I am uncertain how to calculate the betfair price with its 5% deduction if it wins. If the price is 3.0 then the bet should win one time in three so your tax is 5/3= 1.66%. so real price is 100/3 +1.66=34.99 = 2.857. can one of you mathematicians please confirm.

    Just looked at Wolverhampton results on Betfair/Timeform results page. No in-running highs and lows reported. Seen this many times but not bothered me as I don't bet IR as yet. Anyone know why this happens. Is it a malfunction or just Timeform results not bothering to report.

    Re: COMPILING STANDARD TIMES Thanks Richard. Used my own speed ratings a few years back after buying Mordin on Time but let it lapse. Think I was spreading the net too wide and got bogged down. This time I intend keeping it simple and small and to concentrate on the all weather. Collecting times for Kempton I read out loud the class and time in seconds for each meeting and recorded them on my phone and then noted them down in the database under appropriate headings. It's easy then to allocate each distance en masse. This works for me as I don't need to keep refocusing after each race. Still interested in speeding up further though:)

    Searching for a database where I can copy & paste times into MS Works database to compile my own standards. Would Racing Post DB be suitable or can someone recommend another firm. Compiled standards for Kempton AW manually through Timeform results but took an age. Hoping to speed it up a lot.

    I was looking at this last night. How many runners do they generally get per month? I may well give this a go after ignoring it before. "Ok $2.50 on red, the same on black and 50c on zero cos you never know..."
    someone posted the correct ratios before 12 red,12 black , 1 zero. never seen a tourney with so many rules, easily avoidable.
