  1. Re: French Open 2015

Czech' date=' here is a head scratcher for you. I took a bet in doubles on total games, and i went over 20.5. the first set was 6/4 second set 2/6 and 3rd set breaker 10/7. It was done on one of those game machines which marked the selection a loser. Is that right or an error?[/quote'] I've had a similar bet couple months ago on Marathonbet. They considered the tie-breaker as one game only.
  2. Re: US Open 2014 I think Nishikori has the better game of the two which should give him the edge. He is able to open up the court and Cilic does not cover ground easily. Djokovic came close to some service games of Nishikori but I don't see Cilic putting much pressure on Nishikori.

  3. Re: French Open 2014

Hsieh/Peng to beat Errani/Vinci at 2.7 with Pinnacle Hsieh/Peng is a bit shaky before the French Open, but they successfully go through all the tough matches here from round 1. Although Errani/Vinci is unstoppable during this clay season, Hsieh/Peng have positive records (2:1)against them. Besides, Hsieh/Peng are 11w0L at final. In my opinion the Chinese/Taiwanese pair should not be underestimated so I am very happy to back them at such price.
Did you watch both matches or did you prefer Gulbis - Djoko? I actually saw Errani/Vinci and they were on fire after dropping the first two games.
  4. Re: French Open 2014

Is there any chance of an upset by Seppi v Ferrer? I know it most likely won't happen but surely there must be some value!?
14.80 looks like a bit of value indeed. However, I watched Seppi against Monaco and I think this match will go Ferrer's way. Both have a similar style where Seppi is probably the more aggressive one. Monaco choked at difficult moments and I think Ferrer will put pressure on every serve of Seppi. Seppi might be able to win a set but Ferrer looked really up for his previous matches.
  5. Re: French Open 2014

... probably because of clay run of kiki' date=' but except barthel and ormaechea she isn't beat any stronger opponent. I thnik the conditions on RG court 5 :) is good for Anastasia.
Why is court 5 a good court? It will be packed with fans from the Netherlands which could help Bertens to get into a nice rhythm.
  6. Re: May 12 - May 18 Na Li was not clearly ill. She did play the whole match and she just couldn't find the court. Most balls were long. However, Errani played some great defensive tennis. Radwanska should have won as Jankovic was lucky and Radwanska's forehand was terrible at times.

  7. Re: Australian Open 2014

Did anyone watch the Camila Giorgi match? What a match it was' date='i still cant believe she lost. She outplayed her 25th ranked opponent but some bad unforced errors, volleys in particular or going too long when her opponent was beaten. Some of the line judge calls were shocking. What im trying to say is Camila Gorgi is wort a punt the next time she plays.[/quote'] I see you just discovered Giorgi. Apart from her beautiful appearance, her game is really hit and miss. UE could go sky high and frustrating to bet on.
  8. Re: FC Barcelona v Ajax > Wed 18th September

I don't disagree at all' date=' losing Eriksen was a big blow as he was certainly the man who made things happen in midfield, fair to say no-one in that team is near his level. One thing that might weaken Ajax even more, is Bojan eligable to play against Barca?[/quote'] It does not really matter if Bojan will play as he is in awful form. No rhythm at all, just walking with the ball and no action to pass a defender in the Eredivisie. Ajax should play something like 4-5-1 and try to limit the score.
  9. Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2013/14 As Feyenoord fan, I see Ajax as clear favorite. At home with full support and they are playing some good football. However, this is the biggest derby of the year and Feyenoord should be motivated. I think Koeman will adjust the gameplay to a more defensive style with fast counterattacks. Ajax were outplayed by Roda fo 15 minutes so Feyenoord should be able to create some chances. -1.5 @ 2.20+ is raising, De Jong is not playing but Feyenoord has more absences. As fan, I will leave this game as I hope Feyenoord could do some damage. -1.5 should be the play but I will try a yellow card for Mathijssen and Martins Indi.

  10. Re: Tour De France

Martin lost 25mins today. He said prior to the stage that another stage win was more important to him than a Top 10 and I think tomorrow's stage suits him well. Dan Martin @ 51 Bet365
He was really bad yesterday. One of the first in troubles and yes he may have saved his energy but he is clearly not the Martin from the first two weeks. I think a lot of riders should be able to beat him so 51 odds are a bit low imo.
  11. Re: July 15 - July 21

2pts M.Przysiezny to beat V.Pospisil 2.37 Bet365 I was going to go with total games here instead, as I think it's going to be a tight one but I'd rather shoot for some value. These 2 played in the final of Johannesburg recently, also on the hard court and Przysiezny took the first set 7-6 and from that lost the 2nd set 6-0 and later in the 3rd set retired so we don't know the full story there but looking at his recent results he is in some decent form. Got to the last 32 of Wimbledon, on the grass and pushed Anderson close and also likes the fast surfaces like hard so I'm guessing this could be a 2-1 either way and I'll side with the value.
I love some of your picks, however, I do think you're trying to tip too much. You haven't seen Przysiezny last tournament so how could you give an accurate prediction? Your reasoning is based on statistics. Pospisil is proper favorite based as Przysiezny was terrible.
  12. Re: UEFA Womens Euro Sweden 2013

I think germany is capable of playing better football. They are quiet young and were too nervous in the first game. On uefa.com I read that Thóra Helgadóttir is a doubt in goal for iceland. Iceland lsot 1-6 ina friendly vs. sweden and got a bit lucky vs norway. I think if germany finds into the game with more confidence we could see the next big win. They only won two times 1:0 vs iceland recently. To beat the hc-3 I would get 4.0 odds.
You're unlucky with this one. Germany, especially in second half, were impressive. Some decent changes to score but they didn't. Outright for Germany around 2.60 which could be interesting. France & Sweden are the major contenders and Spain & Italy as outsiders. Germany has a really good midfield and they should be able to control other teams.
  13. Re: UEFA Womens Euro Sweden 2013

Italy Women v Denmark Women Saturday 13th July 17.00 Once again, looking at the latest shots on target stats, I think Italy are good value against Denmark. I would have Italy as favourites, but they are the longer odds, so I think they are worth backing - Italy Women DNB 3.0 NordicBet
Italy was not impressive at all. Denmark on the other hand played one great match against Sweden. They kept the pressure on the whole match their condition was impressive. Very strong in duels so Italy should expect one hard match. However, I do not think Denmark should this short. They lack a striker so a draw is most likely.
  14. Re: Tour De France

You have watched the Giro and saw Contador? Maybe it was 2011? If you are talking about Criterium Dauphine, team was helping Rogers not Contador However, Froome is too short for me here. Of course he won everything this year, except Tirreno-Adriatico, but I believe in Contador's words about allergy and his preparations. Saxo Tinkoff is really strong this year, with Kreuziger, Rogers, Paulinho, Roche and Hernandez. Maybe it's not Sky train, but with Movistar they are second best team. The strongest Contador ever had.
Saxo is indeed really strong this year. However, it is unclear which riders will be there to help Contador on the real mountains. Paulinho never has been there, Roche is not able to control so you hope for Kreuziger, Rogers and Hernandez. Against Porte, Lopez and EBH/Kiryienka. I would like to see Contador in yellow and against this price, it looks like a value bet. How about Cavendish to win the green jersey? Around 2.20 and Sagan is favorite at EVS. There are a lot of sprints this year and I can see Cav winning at least 3 stages. Sagan will struggle to win points against Kittel, Greipel, Kristoff and there are not much punch stages. Maybe Sagan will stop fighting for green when he realises he cannot beat Cav?
