  1. Re: Belgium > Jupiler League > 2012/13 Cercle Club postponed
  2. Re: Group D > 22 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) Club Brugge - Bordeaux I'm a Bruges fan so my bets are based on what I've seen from them. Bordeaux: Cédric Carrasso, Mariano, Henrique, Marc Planus, Benoît Trémoulinas, Fahid Ben Khalfallah, Ludovic Sané, Jaroslav Plašil, Landry N'Guemo, Nicolas Maurice-Belay, Cheick Tidiane Diabaté Club Brugge: Vladan Kujovic, Carl Hoefkens, Michael Almebäck, Jordi Figueras, Bart Buysse, Jesper Jørgensen, Ryan Donk, Jonathan Blondel, Lior Refaelov, Carlos Bacca, Maxime Lestienne The players from Bruges seem to be d

  4. Re: Group G > 22 November (FC Basel, Genk, Sporting, Video Fehervar) Videoton - Genk Genk; Kristof Van Hout, Daní Fernández, Anele Ngongca, Nadson, Katuku Tshimanga, Thomas Buffel, Khaleem Hyland, Julien Gorius, Steven Joseph-Monrose, Jelle Vossen, Glynor Plet Videoton; Mladen Bozovic, Alvaro Brachi, Marco Caneira, Paulo Vinicius, Roland Szolnoki, Filipe Oliveira, Nikola Mitrovic, György Sándor, Renato Neto, Ádám Gyurcsó, Nemanja Nikolic Atm Genk is the strongest team of this group and they have the more attractive football to show. They are always in for an open game
  5. Re: International Friendlies > 2012 Romania - Belgium romania: Tatarusanu, Luchin, Chichires, Goian, Radu, Torje, Pintilii, Bouceanu, Tanase, Grozav, Marica belgium: gk Mignolet, defence: Gillet, Van Buyten, Kompany, Vertonghen, midfield: Defour, Witsel, Fellaini, attack: Mertens, De Bruyne, Benteke Apart from gk Thibaut Courtois & Daniel Van Buyten this is my favourite national line-up. Defour, Witsel & Fellaini have played together for such a long time at standard and although they all play abroad nowadays it's still an oiled machine. Recent form suggests they are stron
  6. Re: Belgium > Jupiler League > 2012/13 Fedar, what you say about standard is true. However, Cercle already had a lot of misfortune this season and imo Gudjohnsen will be a huge reinforcement for Cercle. the handicap against Cercle has been a winner in 5 of 11 pro league fixtures this year. I fancy over 2.5 @ 7/11 betfair: 9/11 matches of standard have been over 2.5 (6/11 over 3.5) while 8/11 matches of Cercle have been over 2.5 (4/11 over 3.5). Looks like another over 2.5 to me. Maybe a tiny stake on over 3.5 @ 19/12 betfair.
  7. Re: Group D > 25 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) Newcastle looked like they were on a training field, no interest in this game whatsoever. Fortunately a good Obertan saved them from a bad result, 1-1 would've been a better reflection of the match though. With this attitude I'd rather lay Newcastle when they travel to Bruges in 2 weeks.
  8. Re: Group L > 25 October (FC Twente, Hannover 96, Helsingborgs, Levante) Helsingborgs - Hannover 96 over 2.5 @ 1.65 local bookie This season Hannover has played 15 matches (Bundesliga, Europa-league & DFB Pokal combined) so far and 12 have gone over 2.5. Helsingborgs are no underish team either so I really fancy this bet, even at these odds.
  9. Re: Group G > 25 October (FC Basel, Genk, Sporting, Video Fehervar) Interesting fact: Vercauteren has been trainer of Genk from december 2009 til the beginning of the 2011-2012 season so he knows his opponent like no other.
  10. Re: Group D > 25 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) Newcastle - Bruges I am a Belgian & Bruges fan so my bet is mainly based on my knowledge of Club. I sincerely believe Bruges players & staff don't think about getting anything from tonight's match in Newcastle. Club's moral isn't that great, there are some issues in the locker room and they still have major injury problems. Considering they have a very important ('must win') fixture this weekend at home against a decent Lokeren, I expect another experimental line-up with only one goal in mind: limi
  11. Re: Group D > 4 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) Bruges - Maritimo I've seen a lot of Bruges matches lately and I'm quite confident they can knock themselves back into this competition. Last Europa league match in Bordeaux was a disaster. It was perhaps an offday, a very good day for Bordeaux and most likely due to an enormous injury list. A little bit earlier the CL-qualifier home game vs Copenhagen went wrong but don't let that mislead you, they should've won. Bruges starting 11 has been different in almost every match this season due to injuries but there is goo
  12. Re: World Cup Qualifiers > Europe - Sep 7/8 Hi, I've been reading these pages for some time now and I'd like to thank everybody who's contributing to these forums. I intend to become a little bit more active too. As a belgian I'm very much looking forward to our national team tonight. Belgian squad: Courtois; Gillet (will have lot's of work stopping Bale and this is prob the weakest link in the team) Kompany, Vermaelen, Vertonghen; Witsel, Dembélé & Fellaini on midfield. Mirallas, Hazard, Mertens in attack. Without a doubt the strongest starting 11 possible. It seems to me th
