  1. Re: England vs New Zealand - T20 Series

1st T20 preview: 4pts Over 8.5 6's 5/6 Stan James Having already backed England to win the series there’s no need to back them to win this match. One thing I expect to see in this series, even though the same pitch is likely to be used for both matches, are a lot of sixes. Both teams have plenty of hitters in their side and as we saw on Wednesday when Miller was teeing off, these ropes are accessible. Both teams hit all the way down and McClenaghan aside there’s no top class bowler in either side so the maximums should flow here. followed you on this, very easy done with nz gettin 8 of them :)

with a dead heat you get half stake at full price. that is dead heat rules as your bet has only half won Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
i thought it was half odds, either way, half of what my winnings should have been surely isnt right.
  3. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

nice one' date='was struggling to find a bet in this game so went with your preview, looked like the was gonna pull it off easy...but 1/2 the odds is better than nothing.[/quote'] can someone give me a bit of help on this,i bet on most 6s with laddies,2 way betting, anyway i expected it to be settled at half the odds but it has been settled as half the winnings giving me less than i staked, surely this cant be right,im sure ive had this problem before but cant remember the outcome, pretty sure laddies aint entitled to free money off every punter wwho backed in the sixes market.

Thursday preview: 5pts Kings XI Punjab Most 6's vs Delhi 10/11 Skybet We’ve seen in the last few days the pressure of having to win can get to sides so I’ll leave the Kings XI alone in that score but I’ll happily take them to hit the most 6’s in this match. Their top 4/5 all hit a long ball while the likes of Gony, Chawla and Praveen down the order can give it some long handle. Take Warner out of the Daredevils side and they aren’t a big hitting side so I expect the Kings XI to have them well covered on that score. Pune Warriors have lost 12 out of 14 though and away to a Kolkata team who still have everything to play for would be one of the more difficult fixtures of their campaign. In that respect' date=' surely 8/15 on them losing again IS value? Surely you'd agree Pune Warriors are a pretty bad team? They might not lose EVERY game and will fluke the odd win here and there but 8/15 on them to lose any particular away match will be and has been profitable in the long run, as they lose way more than that.[/quote'] you can get 13/10 in play now if your still confident on kkr.

  7. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

No, I stand by the statement. With all due respect, this should have been discussed BEFORE the event. Whether it's a good or a bad bet is discussed without knowing the outcome. You can't use the result and hindsight to then go 'bad bet mate.'
ok fair point......today you say kkr are a "cracking" price at 8/15 to win,ive said it before each to there own but 8/15 a cracking price in a t20 game,i hope your bet wins for you but there is a lot better "cracking prices" out there to be had m8,just my opinion.
  8. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

I'm not going to get drawn into a personal argument because this isn't the place and we'll end up getting banned. I didn't 'mouth off' date='' I didn't say anything was 'the best bet you will ever see' and I'm not a mug. Show a bit of respect for other people on the forum and don't make blatantly libellous statements.[/quote'] but you did say "it is the best bet you will see in a long time",now at odds of 7/6 and a double that is a ridiculous statement dont you think.
  9. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

The truth is that in T20 you can get a home win of 8/13 odds in odds around 6/4 in live betting... So really there is no point in getting the 8/13 pre-game odds. At the same way you can lay a 6/4 away win on 1/3 odds in live-play. Then some Gayle or Polard can come and have 5 6s in a row, or a Gilchrist - Mahmood partnership have 12-13 4s in 18 balls and the odds change completely. It's obvious that there is no value in odds less than evens.
couldnt agree more, betting in play is defo the way in t20.todays game proved that i got 2/1 on kings today in the 5th,could have got bigger had i taken it earlier.
  10. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

So' date=' one more week of games and one final push on what looks to be loads more probable home wins. Today's look the most likely of the lot, so I urge you to lump on an RCB and Chennai double. It's 7/6 with Boylesports but may be even better elsewhere. One of the best odds against shots you'll see for a while. Please do lump on, 10pts as Kevshat would say.[/quote'] kinda blown your home theory out the water didnt it,gambling on nothing but the fact that a team is playing at home is ridiculous.
  11. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

RCB scored = 174.....Very good score, be very hard to beat. 6's scored in their innings = 9, 3 from kings should be done. Imo the game is weighed in already, Kings dont have it in the batting department, only Millar is capable, of causing a massive shock here.
always tickles me how people are counting there winnings before the game has finished,t20 can go either regardless of stats,at this stage of the competition surely some teams want it and need it more than the others.
  12. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

I still don't follow. Rajasthan have 5 home wins out of 5. If you take out Pune Warriors' home games (because they're having a mare,) the last 13 games in the league have been home wins. 8/13 is a price that is profitable on home games in general in this league, let alone on a 100% home team against the team who are bottom of the league. I don't even understand your reluctance to back a bet shorter than around 8/11 let alone your complete refusal to do so. Any price can be value, if the price is better than the chances of it happening and that is certainly the case here. The stats are there to back it up.
surely its each to their own?
  13. Re: New Zealand vs England T20 Series & ODI Series

Thats weird' date='the words bell and end just came into mine.I wasnt talking about the tip on England. If u want to label people "god punters" then they cant have a strike rate of 1 in 3 winning bets.[/quote'] Thats weird,i cant find "england tip" in my post, the words sore looooossssseeeerr come to mind.
  14. Re: New Zealand vs England T20 Series & ODI Series

1st T20 preview: 5pts Over 11.5 6's 10/11 Paddy Power I’m not a huge fan of picking winners of matches on this ground because it can be impossible to defend which means winning the toss is crucial. Therefore in my eyes the much safer bet is for there to be more than 11.5 6’s. In the eight previous matches on this ground this line has been covered on no fewer than six occasions and both these sides are big hitting sides while their bowling attacks are hittable. This is a rugby ground so the boundaries here are going to be small and with the wicket expected to have some pace and bounce I like the look of the overs here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/new-zealand-vs-england-1st-t20-betting-expect-the-eden-park-boundaries-to-be-cleared-at-regular-intervals
bet landed in first 15 overs, not a pretty game to watch though.
