Re: Ten to follow Im suprised that there is only six of us in nevermind ,still quite competitive. Chose not to have a paddy horse this year cus they normally nothing else for the rest of season after except for celestrial last year. If id read it proper and realised we were only having points for winners and prices my list would have been full a good hanicappers who run loads of times during a season but never in big races.

Me and a pal went to wolverhampton on saturaday night. We got to wolverhampton early so I could have a punt on the two big races in Ireland and hopefully set me up for the wolver . However as we all know the meeting was called off which meant me hanging around wolver for over an hour to get my money back . When got there the heavens opened up and knew it was gonna be a misrable evening in every respect. U know your having a bad nite when u pay 3.50 for a tray of rice and drop half of it on floor. Normally when i go races i tend to o.k u know 1 winner at least but it was'nt happening on saturaday. 'Come on get on the get out stakes' One of the brummie bookies bellowed out as I supped on my half empty pint of guinness and promtley turned off the winner of the finale only to back another donkey before we made our home. Any way im OFF work today still licking my wounds Just to make feel better i could do with a few winners at wolver this afternoon to reedem myself. Or if not does anybody else have a tale of woe story to make me feel better about mine.:cry

Re: Sockys tips O.K I dont really like tipping favs because it dont take a lot of skill to pick them out however i can't see past this pair and they should both be odds against! zaffran express 2:45 Haydock viciana 2:55 towcester 12:50 Towcester Mantles prince(NAP) has fallen a long way from grace compared to his form of 3 or 4 years ago ,however his current form still suggests to me he still has enough about him to win a race like this.

Re: Jumps Season Notebook 05/06 I heard MIck Fitzgerald say that Trabolgan was 'The best jumper he'd ever sat on ' and was the horse he was most looking forward to riding this season.

Does anybody fancy anything for any of big jumps races yet , ive just been having a quick scan at the ante-post Chelt races ,dosent seem to be much value standing out yet. Nicky Henderson's Trabolgan look's the most intresting Novice chaser looking step up to the big boys ,but 20/1 dosent look a great price for the gold cup. In same way i think Penzance may have enough scope to challange the principles over hurdles but is only available at about the same price.:beer

I dont know if anbody is like me in that they can enjoy a fruitfull day's gambling in a bookies only to undo all the hard work on the IBOX machines (i.e roullette ,spoof, keno ect. Anybody know any systems or methods how to win off these things or are they just a mugs game?
