Well, I'm not sure what the world has come to now that we have Sandgrens making it to the QFs. The guy almost lost against the semi-retired Przysiezny in Auckland and now this. If anyone still thinks that short-priced accas are the way to go in tennis, this GS should be the final wake-up call. Some upsets can be predicted and understood, but how on earth could anyone possibly pick Sandgren to beat Thiem and Pera to beat Konta is beyond me. Those results were sheer madness.

Or Istomin to beat Novak and Zverev to beat Murray last Aus Open. The Aus Open is probably the most unpredictable slam. In recent years we've seen Baghdatis, Tsonga, Gonzalez play in the final plus Johannson somehow won it in 2002 :loon

  2. My bets for today, I am expecting a few upsets due to the heat.

Vesely to beat Mannarino @ 3.20

Price is too big for Vesely who has beaten him in the past. I think the quick surface will suit him too.

Medvedev to beat Chung @ 2.97

Ridiculous price for the young gun. Chung does not deserve to be that short against fellow young gun

Donskoy to beat Fognini @ 3.48

Fognini to do Fognini things, heat should make this a lot closer than expected

    Benneteau to win a set @ 2.3

Goffin has a knack of getting off to slow starts. I expect to lose concentration in the heat and give up a set. Benneteau took a set off him at the US open and beat him at Paris Masters last year

  3. Re: Snooker: 2011 UK Championship Dec. 3-11 Hi, I'm relatively new to betting and was just wondering if Snooker is profitable in the long run..? Its crazy to see THIS many upsets in a tournament. Is this common in Snooker or have players just been unlucky? Also, did anyone catch the last frame of the Gould v Murphy match? What was going on there? :lol On to tonights matches, I think Robertson will win pretty comfortably. Ding has been extremely lucky and really should have lost to Stevens.
