    What I meant is that if you lose 5 times in a row you won't have enough money to make the 6th ($32) bet. 1+2+4+8+16 = $31 so for the 6th bet you remain with 1$.

    Are you going for evens or over then as that would be needed each time for recovery bets good luck but will be hard

    Sorry I didn't understand the question, are you asking if i will be betting on odds of only 2.00 or higher too. I know it will be very hard and that it is very hard make a profit on the long term using martingale(the pl forum is filled with failed martingales) and that is why my limit is of 32 and not higher. i just want to see how long i can go before going broke.

    Actually martingale goes : 1 > 2 > 4 > 8 (not 6) > 16 > 32 and you only have money to place the 5th ($16) bet. In any case if you choose your games wisely hope you never have to go that far :) GL

    I know the system is base on pure stat. at home but checking opposition form can give one edge some time... e.g Benfica vs Porto Olympiakos odd is too short to risk against inform Aris Salonika that yet to loose a match since late January.....
    You are right checking oppositions form and stats can help a lot, of the teams that have lost so far 3/4 have lost against teams that are considered strong in their leagues. Personally i didn't see Aris as a strong opponent against Olympiakos because although they didn't loose since late January Olympiakos have been in a great form winning their last 5 games.

    Hi Sophocles, as i had said before I don't mind you posting here, i just had stopped posting because you and me had almost the same picks so i didnt see the point of posting.... On the theme of Dortmund and Zwolle, the original original thread said teams with perfect record which in our case would be only Man City, Panathinaikos and Beneficia so instead of going with teams with only perfect record i decided to go for teams with almost perfect records too, and decided that teams with 80% or more wins in home games would be considered for this system. But I think i should increase the bar to 85% which would decrease the the # of the eligible teams from 20 to 13, which would hopefully increase the yield and strike rate.
