Re: Italy - Serie A - 7-8 January Napoli look well worth opposing to me at those prices. They've lost the last SIX there. Palermo +0.5 for me based on the form and head to heads.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet Prem Dec 17 Alfreton are certainly improving and they are very capable going forward. I'd certainly not be backing Stockport v anyone in their form.

Re: England > Midweek > FA Cup 2nd Round Replays > 13-14 December I like the look of Macclesfield tonight. On Bet365 they are 10/11 but 2.025 -0.5 on the Asian Handicap. Is this not the same bet? Why the price difference? I actually placed a single at the 10/11 price and have successfully arranged them to void it so I can do it at the better price.

Re: England - Barclays Premier League - Nov 19 - 21 I'm having smallish stakes on Spurs -1 on the AH as I can't rule out the 1-0, 2-1 which will at least see me break even.

Re: England > Npower Football League One > 19th November
I'm a Chesterfield fan and agree. Will likely be backing Oldham tomorrow.Strange to see that noone dared to post in here so far...I won´t bet too much in this league at the weekend, but I like the look of Oldham... Oldham 1.97 Pinnacle 3/10 Oldham aren´t world beaters but I think they should have enough to see of Chesterfield who are bad away (1-1-6 10:18). Chesterfield have been pretty poor recently (and even lost to Torquay in the cup). Oldham should have confidence after their two cup wins at home (3-1 vs. Burton and Crewe). At home they beat Rochdale, MK Dons and Wycombe (of course), drew vs. Huddersfield and Stevenage, lost to stronger teams like Sheff Utd., Brentford and a little unexpectedly vs. Bury (but who got away from their bad run). All in all odds are pretty fair, but no hypervalue. -
Re: England > Weekend FA Cup > 11th - 13th November Good weekend for me. Wasn't overly confident before and am always more cautious on cups.

Re: England > Weekend FA Cup > 11th - 13th November I'm not sure there's too much in the way of value in the coupon. The worry is that some sides won't necessarily be playing their strongest sides. Will have to have a good think about what I'm going to go with but it'll likely only be small stakes. At this stage I'm inclined to back the two away sides on Sunday but worry whether Megson will have a strong XI out for Sheffield Wednesday.

Re: England > Npower Football League One > 5th November Sheffield Wednesday look a big price to me. Won all their home games (which of course will end at some point) against a Brentford side who struggled to beat my own struggling team last week. Looks the best value single on today's English matches to me.

Re: England > Npower Football League Two & FA Cup > 1st - 2nd November Alfreton are my local Conference side, indeed their manager lives around the corner from me. Much as I'd like to see them win tonight Lincoln's price to win interests me.

Re: Npower Football League One Oct 8-10 I'm a Chesterfield fan and will be off to the game in a while. The fact it's a derby of sorts doesn't cloud my view that we'll do very well to get anything from this game. We may have 3,500 fans at the game but I fear the worst. I'll be backing us to lose but be delighted to lose my bets. Sheffield Wednesday -1 Asian Handicap for me which is 11/10 with my usual Bet365. I also fancy the obvious choices of Charlton and Hudderfield to win.

Re: Spain - La Liga - 1-2 October A couple more easy wins for Barca and Madrid tonight? Not great prices outright of course but tempted to back both to win well.
-
Re: England > Weekend > Premier League > 1-2 October Spurs are too short aren't they? Don't see value there. Arsenal can win this game. Think I'll take them on the AH.
-
Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Prem October 1 I want Alfreton to do well as my local BSQP side but I must say Grimsby look a good price to beat them.
-
Re: England > Weekend > Championship > 1-2 October Leicester look too short for me. We saw Derby do an away job in their proper derby game recently and while Leicester are better than Forest Derby may have 11 players all game this time. Leicester may well win but Derby look a fair option on the AH not to lose.

Re: England > Weekend > League 1 > 1 October Preston look sound value to me. Should be a cut above a clueless Orient.
-
Re: England > Weekend > Championship > 23-25 September Did we ever get to the bottom of why Derby were a ridiculous 15/8 at kick-off today?
-
Re: England > Weekend > Championship > 23-25 September Usually like a Friday night bet but will leave the game alone tonight. My gut is to back Brighton but I feel Leeds have a performance in them. I agree that Derby are overpriced tomorrow at 8/5 and think I'll get involved in that tomorrow. The Forest result may not prove much but it shows they are fighters. Millwall weren't midweek so I fancy Derby to edge it, 1-0 or 2-1. Aside from that I like the look of West Ham to dispose of Peterborough. Skinny-ish odds but I reckon prices in these sorts of games will be worse if West Ham go as I expect them to. And I wouldn't back it with much conviction but Coventry look well priced at 9/4 at home to Reading who aren't as good as they threatened to become in the second half of last season. Portsmouth may also just tempt me at 6/4 v Blackpool. A side I think that will improve if not threaten the top 6/8.
England > Midweek > L1 & L2 > 24 Jan
in Championship Predictions

Re: England > Midweek > L1 & L2 > 24 Jan I saw Scunthorpe against my own side, Chesterfield, on New Year's Eve and they were dreadful. On the basis on that evidence and the growing discontent at Scunthorpe I'm more than happy to go along with the draw no bet option on Sheffield Wednesday.
