Re: Delayed streams and betting in-play + court-siding. What do you do? Quick point, the stadium to watch football as such poor 3g reception and no wifi that court siding is impossible

Re: FA Cup > 15th / 16th January
Can't help feeling that the incentive of Chelsea in the next round is a big factor for Brentford, otherwise I would have been on this betBrentford v Southend Tuesday 15th Jan 19.45 Southend came back from 2-0 down to draw the first game 2-2 and the stats show they had more that twice as many shots on target - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20863411 Both clubs are doing well in their divisions. Southend have lost their last few league games, but I think they are too high here at 5.0 Southend 5.0 Bet 365 Stake: 6/10 (confidence I have in the value of the bet) -
Re: Aston Villa v Arsenal > Saturday 24th November Only 5 points from home matches this season for Villa - no bet for me as I was very unimpressed with Arsenal when away to Norwich, I am sure Lambert will encourage his team to play in a similar way
-
Re: League 1 > 16/17 November
Apparently there was a huge dressing room row after the loss to Bury. It was a poor performance. We may see a reaction against Doncaster' date=' but I'm waiting to see what AH odds are offered.[/quote'] Jase82 - Delighted for you and Portsmouth that Portmouth Trust are going to be taking over - As a Palace, I know how all this most have felt like to a loyal supporter. Who knows in a couple of years, you will be top of the Championship and having youth players represent England:clap -
Re: Stoke City v Queens Park Rangers > Saturday 10th November In their last 20 matches Stoke have only won twice - Wolves at home, who everyone was beating and Swansea, where I think they had quite a large physical advantage. That does not justify them being so short - I will be laying them or taking QPR on the handicap Do agree with Bowles on the Standard unless you are Chelsea Spurs Arsenal or West Ham you don't get a look in - I don't support QPR

Re: 1.01 on betfair system already in trouble! Out of interest if you matched at 1.02 wouldn't that jump the queue. The fav at Taunton today gotdone at 1.01

Re: Npower Football League Championship > 23rd / 24th October Not keen on Palace tomorrow as Zaha out and issues regarding the manager going to Bolton - will look at barnsley +.25 on handicap
-
Re: Antepost bets & Discussion - Jump Season 2012/13 I was taken with the New Look's hurdles debut last week, not sure how far it will go, but it looked decent
-
Re: Midweek > Championship > 2-3 October Palace are playing well at the moment and are good value at those odds, however Palace aren't prolific scorers and despite having lots of the play against Bolton only scored once. Zaha ran them ragged and I expect he will cause Wolves plenty of problems. Sheff Weds certainly had chances against Wolves on Saturday. For Wolves, their forward line and midfield looks strong. Should be a good game

Re: Norwich v Liverpool 29th September 2012
exactly how I see this match and your views on Liverpool match mine.I'm pretty anti-Liverpool, think they are shockingly overrated most weeks by the bookies and low and behold it's been the case this season again where they've done nothing. But I do fancy them to get the result against a Norwich side who I think are gonna struggle alot this year. I expect them to go down. I'd need close to 2.00 to back Liverpool though, dont see the value here. -
Re: Championship > September 14/15/16 Both Teams to Score WHill 10/11 looks the bet to me - Palace have been shaky at the back and vulnerable at set pieces, although there was an improvement in the last game. Zaha, Murray look like they will get goals plus support from Moritz should mean that the bet pays. Both teams have scored in every Palace match so far this season.

Re: Championship > September 14/15/16 Think Charlton Palace match has been missed from the first post

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Oceania > Sept 7th
That's is so funny:okGuilty as charged :ok -
Re: Capital One Cup > Saturday 11th August - Tuesday 14th August The Palace team is pretty much the first team at Exeter Williams, McCarthy & Speroni don't play but Price played in the cup run last year

Re: The Jockey Thread I have to post this as no one else has- The ride that Jason Maguire gave DJ Milan yesterday evening was truly awesome.

Re: Synchronised ~ Would you run him in the National? Awful, but there did seem to be some poor fencing today as a poster said earlier. According to Pete didn't even fall he was brought down and I am not sure if Synchronised didn't get up run loose and fall on the 11th (I think), I just watched the reply there is a lose horse that jumps that badly and lands on or close to that fence and appears to damage its leg. I have always enjoyed the National, but the start was mayhem full of nerves. I don't believe there are enough escapes on the course, but some loose horses will jump on regardless. The race seems to be run at a far faster pace than it was a number of years back. Not sure what the answer is, but sadly I can see the day when it is no longer run

Re: Favourite Horse Ever.... One Flat, One Jumps - that is all!!
Wow, just watched that Derby on youtube again, no wonder I was captivated by the sport!Flat _ Njinsky Dad took me to the Derby when I was about 7 and the talked about horse was Njinsky- being &7 I wanted to know what Njinsky meant and was told it was the name of a dancer. It won the Derby in true style and then I loved watching it race thereafter as I had seen it live in a crowd of around 100,000- Magic! NH- Red Rum, Backed it when I was about 8 or first bet really and was delighted when I got over a fiver back and then backed it no matter what it did always each way then, but the horse always tried its heart out and that's why I loved it. -
Re: Irish flat season start - Sunday 25th Brilliant pictures Any thoughts on Lepoardstown tomorrow- looks a reasonable card

Re: Is there anyway of downloading days runners to spreadsheet?
copy and paste cards from the racing post then edit spreadsheetWould save me soooooo much time... I subscribe to the racingpost.com and am well au fait with ATR and Racing UK websites but am unaware of anything that could help... Has anyone come across such a service or option? I guess printing the racecards out is going to be my option but just wanted to check there wasn't a better way. Thanks for your time:D -
Re: BKI's Betting Log I did some ante posts for the first time as a result of being inspired by the thread - I had Rock on Ruby, Sprinter Sacre, Cinders and Ashes, Simonsig, Brindisi Breeze, Salsify based on performances I liked - had I bet on the day I think only Sprinter and Salsify would have survived. I had Rubi Light, although didn't go for Synchronised when he beat Rubi in the Lexus as I thought lOng Run and Kauro would be better Did have some winners on the day, such as Sir De Champs. I liked Hunt Ball, but was worried about the weight, but when I saw the actual race had a very narrow handicap- 10lbs from memory I think I can do better next time, missed Riverside for the same reason, but I can learn from that Was able to trade on horses like Menorah and tried to do the same with Dynaste less success there and had some good trades on the Triumph as that was so unpredictable this year. Conclusion is I will do this again, so thanks BKI & mileni for inspiring me

Re: Weekend > Championship > March 17th/18th I think Palace are too short to win as they have some issues with the defence as Clyne and Gardner are expected to be out and McShane isnt eligible. Palace defence has been strong all season, but that might cause a problem. Zaha was sent off last week , so he will be missed too. Hull won very well at Cardiff in the week, so even though Palace don' lose many at home the 3.1 for Hull to win looks tempting. Need to check out the handicaps to cover the draw Hull at 0.5 is 1,52 with b365, nothing else priced up

Re: Sky Bet League 1 - Saturday 31st August Could be difficult Crawley defended pretty well against Wolves and almost grabbed a point - In their last league home game they didn't score more than 2. Having said that Peterborough are bang in form
