  1. Re: Group E > 25 October (FC Copenhagen, Molde, Steaua Buch't, VfB Stuttgart) Molde are resting 12 first-team players for this game. Still some good footballers in the squad, but should have little chance versus Steaua, who have a good home record. They beat FC Copenhagen at home recently (who outplayed Molde in Denmark) and they have a close-to-perfect record versus teams from Scandinavia. Value in the home win @ 1,55 and above. Molde has looked poor defensively lately and handicap bets should be considered.

  2. Re: Strategy that works

i know of a football betting "system" which wins 90% of the time, making average profits of 30% approx. and which to a large extent it doesnt matter if it becomes well known because a)most football gamblers simply wouldnt do it b)the bookies would welcome the extra turnover-which would arise from new clients c)many people who try the system would lose NOT because of any inherent flaw in the system...but because of the inherent greed, ego and stupidity of humans. NB please, please do not think i beleive you guys are stupid....that you are on this forum implies otherwise:cheers
I assume you are filthy rich then? I would be, if I knew of such a system (unless we are talking 1 system bet per decade or something)
  3. Re: Has anybody tried this as a strategy?

Soccer data sheets for summer leagues can be downloaded for free via football-bet-data.co.uk
Does anyone actually pay for this without knowing what they will receive? I would never give anyone money, regardless of the amount, without knowing what kind of data I would receive - for all I know it could be data that I could find by one click in an Internet browser.
  4. Re: want some input from stats-minded punters I think the 'usual' stats like goals, goal distribution, streaks, head 2 heads etc. are easily available in an endless number of presentations on a great number of existing sites already, but of course it would be nice to have everything in one place. I'd like more info about the matches itself - shots on/off target, penalties given (and the result of them, including who took them), goalscorers, corner stats, offsides, possession (in 1st half, 2nd half, when leading, when trailing, when drawing), free kicks, cards given, referee stats etc. etc... the more the better.

  5. Re: Stairway to heaven on correct scores Day 2 results: As Skittle says, Porto did as expected :-) Odds of 7 gives a profit of £0.0, a loss of £0.0. Accounts: After day 2: Staked total: £1.5 Won total: £1.55 P/L: + £0.05 Remaining budget (start: £25.5): £25.55 If staked as singles (units) = + 8.5 units

  6. Re: Stairway to heaven on correct scores Day 1: Everton - Birmingham 1-1 (7,50) Schalke 04 - Valencia 1-1 (6,50) Tottenham - AC Milan 2-0 (12,50) Placed at Unibet. Staked £0.7 - Yankee 7 lines. Accounts: Day 1 Staked total: £0.7 Won total: Remaining budget (start: £25.5): £24.8

  7. Doing something just for fun to prove my uncanny ability to predict scores :rollin I have set aside the grand fortune of £25.5 on this Correct Scores chase. Each day, provided there are matches, I will place a Yankee bet (3 matches, 3 doubles and 1 treble). The stakes will increase every day without a win (of course, this is just for fun, so increasing stakes will give some added excitement... HOHO). Starting stakes are: £0.7 for the whole bet. Stakes increase by £0.1 each day. I will continue until the £25.5 is spent, which should be in 17 days with straight losses. Hopefully I can get a few wins, at least singles, to maintain the chase for a few days more. Wish me luck!
