  1. Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 seeing how the bookmakers have slashed the prices for miami win tonight because too many people have jumped on, i think the value in that has gone, the only alternative is to go for the overs market 179 does look attainable i think tonight, my estimate is about 184 i think. I dont really think the bulls will get a win tonight and even with the handicap of plus +5 is still doesnt make much appeal, but then its one of those days where nothing goes according to plan.

  2. Re: Tennis - The French Open

Y wickimayer has some fitness issues and she retired in her last match cant see her wining two straight sets if you want some inruning tips:hope:hope
Well niculescu had all the chances and she still could not take the set, poor effort from her only 3 games won against a player not in form
  3. Re: Tennis - The French Open

Had an in-play nightmare on the Murray match. He was absolutely dominating in the first set, so I took the 10.5 game handicap. He then allowed himself to be broken before hosing the second. Third set, he lost concentration and was broken again. Missed the handicap by one game. :@ I know this is probably reactionary but I'd be shocked if Murray came through his quarter. You can't make those kind of mistakes at Grand Slams and it was interesting that pre-break in the third Murray started doing his usual shouting at himself etc. His 'backs to wall' motivation thing is childish and good/half decent players will exploit it. There isn't much liquidity in the betfair market, with Murray currently 2.04 to win his quarter but 2.96 to lay. A bet on Almagro might be the way to go although what might be better is to lay Murray v Dolgopolov/Troicki in the fourth round and if he gets through that, lay again v Melzer/Almagro. I'm certain he won't come through both matches.
Statistically murray always drops his level of perfomance if he wins the first set and has you rightly put it he loses concentration in the second set especially against lesser opposition. Its almost sure that murray will drop uneccessary number games in these types matches, which is good if you always back the opposition to get more games than the bookmaker presumes
  4. Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 Dallas vs Okc is such a tight game tonight this is a hard one to call probably best to opt for the unders market in this game, the 196 point total does seem a bit much i think, when the hpme team will have to win in my opinion or they will be risking the series if they dont take advantage of being at home tonight. If you must have a team to win, i will say okc but wont put any of my money on that. Unders tonight strictly:cheers

Kvitova probably wins against Greta Arn, but winning the tournament? I don't think so, and the reason is health issues. This tournament is very physically demanding, and Kvitova had troubles with her hip last week. It will eventually come through in the least suitable moment. edit: BTW, nice moment to take tatishilli LIVE. 2-2 in the second set, but Bartoli is due to lose. I took it erlier at 2.0, now its about 1.45 edit2: This Bartoli LIVE looks like a classical jyinx :\. Berdych -8 failed, Tatishvili is going to fail in a moment, I live solely thanks to some tailed bets.
I think i got all 3 bets correct.
  6. Re: Tennis - The French Open

I know its not much of a price but i have gone for kvitova to beat Arn @1.1
Kvitova has a good chance of wining this tournament, Arn's best recent result came against kuznetsova who was completely out of form at the time, that result flattered arn and i would say 1.1 is a small price but in this case its justified.
  7. Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011

Indeed' date=' the total line was a tie @ total 185.[/quote'] Miami was really disappointing i cant understand why and how they allowed so many points from chicago, May be i did not give chicago enough credit for thier attacking abilities. I can see chicago wining these series. Miami with all the advantages should have done more with the chance but couldnt take it. Miami had more days to rest and recover and still took a thrashing from a very defensive team. its ridiculous imo
  8. Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 miami bulls game is so hard to call even though i am leaning towards the miami win because of their strong defense and chicago's weak offence that mainly relies on rose and deng. Miami with more options in offense looks like the better bet but i think these two are too closely matched to go for a win/loose bet. Probably go for the unders bet because of the two defenses cancelling out each other.

Djorkovic would beat nadal anyday not only has he beaten nadal in the last 3 meetings, nadal has conceded that its only a matter of time before novak takes the number one spot. Deep down novak is desperate to get the number one position from nadal and to do that he has to keep wining which is not possible but he still has too much for murray on clay, if this match was on a hard court i would give a chance to murray considering the fitness level of novak. I think murray would get a set at best nothing more, better yet over 8.5 games is a safer bet.
I hope i was able to persuade you from the bet, hopefully saved you some duckets.:hope:clap
  10. Re: Tennis - 9-15 May what a game between murray and djorkovic amazing tennis respect to both guys, the best i have seen andy play really took the fight to novak. Novak djorkovic surely will be no 1 in the world, this guy is just better on any surface than anyone out there at the moment.

  11. Re: Tennis - 9-15 May Dont forget murray getting thrashed by bellucci in madrid, bellucci then lost to djorkovic. bellucci has since been beaten by lorenzi. Novaks body language gives opponents a false sense of security, his opponents get excited and loose concentration like soderling.

  12. Re: Tennis - 9-15 May

Greetings Tennis fans....Its been a while for me...I call it a sabatical....I have dipped in once or twice and think you do excellent summaries. Murray V Djorkovic - Murray 7-2 Bet365 Strange bet for me....I never bet on Murray and other than the circumstances regarding Noles unbelievable run I would not at any other time. This run cannot continue....The run in the last two weeks must have taken a huge toll on Noles body...and not to mention the mental fatigue he must be feeling being on the run and beating Nadal on clay in Madrid. Nole is fit...but not an outstanding performance athlete like a Murray or a Nadal.....retired in a lot of matches a few years back....and there were signs against Soderling.... Robin had countless chances in set 1 to take command and failed. Nole looked like he wanted the points to end quickly and Robin had success in the longer exchanges in the early part of the match. But the big swede is too impatiant...and had no change of pace...let alone a slice..Also early in the 2nd set Nole played 4-5 drop shots in the first few games....indicator of mental and physical tiredness... Murray is playing pretty good...since 'another' grand slam defeat in straight sets and the melt down in the following tounamounts...the pressure is off......all of a suden the talk of grandslams...will he.... won't he..... has vanished ( personally don't believe Murray will ever win a big one....) Lets not forget he took a set of a fresh Nadal a few weeks back and caused plenty of issues in the decider. Murray's style is suited also...the slice...changes of pace...drop shots...something Robin and Stan both lack...court cunning....Nole could rely on there pace to generate his pace...against Murray he will have to generate his own pace...always risky...I can see plenty of errors... and I just think his tired body and mind will kick in. Also fitting...as this amazing run started mainly because of the confidence gained from blitzing Murray in the Aussie final..I see Murray to end it...I also think he would rather lose to Murray...than Nadal in the final....He probably does not want to play Nadal again before the french as he has the mental edge after winning in Madrid.

Sharapova to bt Azarenka @2.47 Pinnacle By simply comparing the form of both players from the last week, Azarenka comes out as a clear winner. But ... Azarenka is not one of the fittiest ladies on the tour. We all know she faints now and then, and she already retired twice this year (and 7 times last year). She has played a lot of tennis lately, and in her last match against Pavlyuchenkova it was apparent. Pavly was outplaying her in the rallyes, and only because the Russian lacks the shot consistency, and hence makes fatal BIG faults now and then, Aza went through. Also, the match ended about 1 hour after the midnight local time, and I have doubt about whether Azarenka is going to be fully fit today some 18 hours after the tough R16 three setter has been finished. Maria had alot easier match against poor Peer, and in her current form I see the value on the 2.47 odds side. GL :hope
    Good call
