    F1 - £1000 stuck on A Sutil @100/1

    Was in the metro today someone stuck a grand on A Sutil to win F1 championship @ 100/1 yesterday. Maybe have a small blind punt on this lol. Someone has a bit of confidence or is just filthy rich and can afford to chuck this away? Anyone know about F1 and whether he really has a chance? I personally think not but i'm not too clued up on F1. Also are there such things as big insider tips in F1? :dude

    I like it too, Rangers will probably be able to score at home, and PSV have not been able to keep many clean sheets in European games. Yet, they do have some good firepower on the attacking side, and they are likely to score too. Both teams to score @1.83 (b365)
    seen a few folk on this :\ would be very wary. i dont think psv will score, rangers will make it very hard for them and nick the goal themselves. walter smiths last year in charge, he will NOT be going out of uefa now. I predict defensive play again from the huns just to get the goal. they know that if psv get the away goal they're pretty much out. Rangers CANT let psv score if they are to progress IMO as rangers are only capable of 1/2 goals against top opposition. under 2.5, probably even 1.5 Rangers to win to nil @ 10/3 or if you want safer option to keep clean sheet at 9/4 WOW - 15/8 up to 21/10 now (ladbrokes) for a rangers win :loon WAAAY under valued rangers to win to nil my selection @ 10/3 :dude

    The Rating(OR) of the horse should relate to the weight carried by the horse..Usually a horse say with a mark of 75 should be carrying 5 pounds more than a horse with a mark of 70....The type of race then dictates what race the horse is actually carrying depending on OR of top weight i suppose(not sure).. As for how does fall in weight affect horses.?...Just say as an example, Horse A beats Horse B by 5 lenghts in a race last february over 2m,and horse A was carrying 9 stone 7,and Horse B was carrying 9 stone 7 also.They met off equal weight. and they race again, say tomorrow ,but Horse B is now carrying 8 stone 11,and Horse A is carrying 9 stone 7 again..Now horse B has a 10 pounds pull from that previous race(is 10 pounds better off)... So as Horse A beat Horse B by 5 lenghts,as Horse B is now 10 pounds better off depending on distance of course,but that weight pull should see it get closer to Horse A and even pass it(i think usually its 2lb per length could be wrong depending on race distance).. As for effect on horses carrying top weight,you can use your self as an example.Run from your house to the shop and buy 2 cement blocks..Now run back to you house with the carrying the cement blocks..Of course it depends on how much weight you carry,look at Denman in the Hennessy..Was carrying so much weight,it didnt really have a chance of winning against featherweight opponents... I knew none of the above 2 to 3 years ago(only following horses 3 1/2 years),it's only from asking questions here and other places and learning from mistakes that i have learnt a bit,don't be afraid to ask as there are many here with greater knowlege than i... A Handy tool to see how horses have feared against each other and how they are weighted on those previous meetings is formscan.. http://www.attheraces.com/card.aspx?raceid=315813&meetingid=44714&date=2011-03-09&ref=cardmain&refsite=&nav=racecards&h2h=yes Here we see that camps bay is top rated for the 7.30 KEMPTON,it is currently 12-1,Camps bay has only in the past faced one of the opponents here in this race..However keyly it beat times square(9-2) over C&D in February,it beat Times square by 5 lengths and is 1 pound better off in the weights..This means in my book that camps bay is value compared to Times square.. Then we see Sir Boss(the favourite) has beaten 3 of the opponents it faces tomorrow,Times square,beat route and Epsoms salt.It only beat Times square by 1 1/2 half length over C&D in February..But times square is now 7 pounds better off in the weights based on that race,that gives time square a chance to get past Sir Boss based on that race.. This also links sir boss to times square,which links it to Camps Bays in a form link..(this can be done even thought camps bay has never faced sir boss)..Beat route is also weighted to get a little closer to sir boss. We also see that sir boss beat Epsom salts but that was on turf,i generally ignore when its a different surface especially as Epsom salts in coincidently an epsom Specialist. Now this doesnt mean camps bay will win,but it has a live chance and is the value of the race,i personally think that Epsom salts will go very close to winning..:unsure

    Re: UEFA Europa League > 10 March hmm tempted by 3 draws in Europa tonight on first glances psv v rangers - draw rangers need at least a draw or they've no chance, injurys and fitness depleting their squad. cska moscow v porto - 2 high scoring teams, porto have more than enough to beat cska but cant see it happening away. braga v liverpool - well liverpool are a bit of a hit and miss but king kenny has them back on track. he will want to take a draw home. will stick a £5 on @ 40/1 not had a good enough look yet to get any solid picks will be back later if anything appeals :dude

    will have a better loook at barca arsenal later but... penalty to be scored @ 2/1 is worth a small bet as not much else catches the eye at odds given :\ arsenal dodgy defence, barca not full strength at the back. both teams concise passing, in and around box especially barca with darting runs. penalty quite likely i think. anyone know how many penalties barcelona get on average in a season? or where to find stats like this? :dude

    a wee bit chat is fine as long as its to do with forum topic surely??:tongue2 anywway i think mahno is spot on.. roma are coming to attack, need 2 goals. this will leave them short at the back making an open end to end game. Shaktar will make the most of this with a very attack minded team and brazillian forwards. Shaktar are playing to the world, its a cl game. they are at home they will not lose. shaktar is just under evens 10/11 w/ ladbrokes i really think shaktar will win convincingly, so small stakes on shaktar -2 @ 7/1 w/ ladbrokes is my bet 4-1 @ 33/1 0.5pt this game is mostly a no bet for me but will have small punt on -2 as odds on win are not tempting enough. 1pt :dude

    new to horses normally stick to football but after a nice win have been having a wee punt on some races... just looking to understand weights more... which number is the weight and the weight of what? horse or and jockey? and also how does fall in weight and rise in weight usually affect a horse?? may seem daft questions but grateful for friendly answer :) :dude
