  1. Re: FA Cup > Tue 18th December Brentford FC v Bradford City [email protected] Tonight’s trip to West London means City will have had a Tuesday night game in 11 of the past 13 weeks. With Christmas coming along with three midweek Cup ties in January, the demands on Parkinson’s squad are only going to grow. Phil Parkinson:"That is why I am going to be honest with the supporters and tell them I plan to completely change the team against Brentford. We will bring some of the youth players in, while some of the senior players won’t even travel" Source:http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/other-clubs/have-your-say-brentford-v-bradford-city-stigma-of-being-thrown-out-of-fa-cup-forced-city-appeal-now-parkinson-turns-to-youths-1-5234080

Aldershot Town v Wycombe Wycombe will travel to Aldershot without potentially 11 first team players through injury.
Also sidelined for the Chairboys are Danny Foster (groin) Grant Basey (cruciate ligament) Leon Johnson (hamstring) Stuart Lewis (hamstring) Matt Bloomfield (groin) Dean Morgan (hamstring) and Jo Kuffour (ankle ligament) while Marvin McCoy travelled with the squad to Gresty Road as he continues his recovery.
  3. Re: Ligue 2 24-27 February Bastia is a serious pick for me.1st vs 15th.good away side and on three consecutive wins.2nd best away side as well..bastia is on 5:2:5 playing away and goal diff is currently 19 bastia easy win and will want to extend it's lead on Reims which is only 4 points behind and with a game played less.. Bastia at 2.36. Goodluck

  4. Re: France - Ligue 1 - 10-11 December Valenciennes vs Montpellier. Montpellier at 2.90 I don't quite understand why Montpellier (4-3-1) are priced so high. Montpellier are 1st and Valenciennes(3-3-1) 17th in the table. Montpellier has Ligue 1 top goalscorer (Olivier Giroud) fit for tonight while Valenciennes misses 3 players out injured (Grégory Pujol, Mathieu Dossevi and Carlos Sanchez). Since the start of the season Montpellier has lost to only Lyon and PSG, won 11 and drawn 3. The host side are on 2 consecutive defeats while the away side are on 3 consecutive wins. Any suggestions??

  5. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 1st December

If Andelecht loses today they will be on 12 points. If Lokomotiv wins today they will be on 12 points. Last group game, Andelecht host Lokomotiv. I don't see why Andelecht won't finish AEK today so that they are definetly guaranteed the first place and avoid a difficult last group match at home where 2 teams will battle for the first place.

  6. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 1st December

I wouldn't touch it mate. Both teams have relatively nothing to play [Anderlecht have qualified+AEK can't] for and motivation may be low. Good luck if you do though.

Clermont vs Reims- home win @ 1.90 Today's fixture is between the first and the second of Ligue 2. They both have the same number of points. Clermont foot will be without it's captain Perrinelle which will be replaced by Avinel in the defense. Striker Luhasa is also out for this game. As for Reims, Odair Fortes one of the decisive midfielders is out for this game which is a major blow. Clermont is unbeated in the last 6 games and has a certain Riviere in it's squad who is the topscorer of Ligue 2 with 10 goals in 13 games. Also Clermont has the best defence in Ligue 2 with 10 goals conceded In contrast Reims has picked up 2 draws, 1 defeat, 1 win on it's way. I hope Clermont will take the whole 3 points and move a 5 pointer clear from the the 3rd of Ligue 2. It should be noted though that Clermont's home performance is not as good as it's away's but they have the chance today to get the 3 points in front of their fans at Stade Gabriel-Montpied. Goodluck:hope

Tours FC vs AC Arles- Avignon. I fancy a home win Arles- Avignon's coach has been sacked after the defeat at home to Guingamp and tonight the ex coach assistant will be in charge of the team Arles is on 4 consecutive defeats. Except Buengo and Cetout injured, Tours will be playing it's 3rd game in one week. Diego for Tours may well add to his tally tonight!! Goodluck:hope
:beerI love this Arles- Avignon team. Betting against them is a pleasure right now!!

  12. Re: France - Ligue 2 (22 November)

For tonight's fixture I am fancying a win for the away team and this fixture falls at the right time for them. From 18th to the 8th spot, Guingamp did a massive job in one and a half month. Even with the departure of Bakary Kone, other players have successfully replaced him at the back and adopted a different style of play. Guingamp sits currently 7 points clear from relegation and Lionel Mathis, EAG captain adds that they want to increase this margin to avoid relegation. Althouth Arles which sits in the relegation zone and have been eliminated by Valence, they won't sit back and let EAG control them. Gourvennec expects do to a big match again tonight after the win at St Malo and is more then happy to have a full squad with none injured nor suspended. P.S Mamadou Samassa, EAG goalkeeper has not conceded any goals for the last 588 minutes. Goodluck all:hope
