  1. Got Bosh and the total for Denver correct, so far 3 out of 7. The Clippers game really killed me last night. Blake was already with 22/9 but because the Clippers blew out the Rockets, him and Scola sat out the 4th killing my bets. -7.35 Units now total Time to get in the green! Hawks vs Heat Hawks (-2) 5 units @1.9 Bet365 The Hawks already beat the Heat on the road this season. They had the Bulls on the ropes in Chicago only for some late magic from Rose to save them. Also Wade was out last night for the Heat and James sprained his ankle and is day-to-day. Also the Heat don't have much depth so I fancy the Hawks here. Spurs vs Mavs Player Performance Richard Jefferson over 12,5 points 6 units @1.8 Bet365 Simple reason, with Ginobili out, Jefferson has more scoring load and more minutes. Last 2 games 38 minutes and 33 minutes scoring 17 and 16 points. Spurs vs Mavs Player Performance Lamar Odom under 10,5 points 5 units @1.76 Bet365 Odom has failed to cover this 4 out of 5 games. They are still finding his role in Dallas and he is not getting many minutes yet on a deep Dallas team. Blazers vs Lakers Player Performance Pau Gasol over 16,5 points 5 units @1.9 Bet365 Covered 4 out of 5 this season by Pau Blazers vs Lakers Player Performance Steve Blake over 8,5 points 5 units @1.83 Bet365 Covered in last 2 games and 3 out of 4. Steve has been hitting at least 2 3-pointers 4 out of 5 games. The extra motivation of performing vs your old team should lift him over this small hump. Blazers vs Lakers Player Performance Andrew Bynum under 18,5 points 5 units @1.76 Bet365 Andrew hasn't been a big scorer despite recent 21 point game but the pace of that game was faster than the one tonight. Andrew is also prone to foul trouble which can limit his output

  2. Re: NBA Week 2 (Mon Jan 2.) -0.85 Units yesterday. Lowry covered rather easily with 9 assists but Gasol had 8 rebounds...mostly due to Bynum grabbing every rebound in sight and getting his first 20/20 game of his career. Close but no cigar. Tonights bets: Player Performance Clippers vs Rockets Luis Scola, Over 17,5 points: 5 units 2.00 @Bet365 Scola has covered this 4 games out of 5 this season. Shot well yesterday 10 of 18 and 9 of 19 the game before that. Player Performance Heat vs Pacers Chris Bosh, Over 18,5 points: 5 units 1.83 @Bet365 Bosh has covered this now 4 games in a row and was 0.5 off in the 5th game. Player Performance Clippers vs Rockets Blake Griffin, Over 24,5 points: 5 units 1.83 @Bet365 Blake Griffin, Over 10,5 rebounds: 6 units 1.68 Since we can expect a high scoring game and Blake hasn't exactly been cold lately I see him covering this line at home in Lob City! Also he averaged 12 rebounds last season and with the tempo the Rockets played yesterday I can see him getting lots of rebounds like Bynum did yesterday. Kings @ Nuggets Game total Under 206,5: 5 units 1.9 @Bet365 Such a big line. Both teams have been under it recently and H2H they have been under 4 of last 7 including last 2

  3. Re: NBA Week 2 (Mon Jan 2.) I have been following the NBA for about a scrillion years betting the last 2-3 years. I will share my picks when I can and hopefully it goes well. My picks for tonight, 3rd of January. Player Performance Lakers vs Rockets Pau Gasol, over 8,5 rebounds: 5 units 1.83 @Bet365 Pau is a 9.1 RPG guy for his career. He has been playing consistent 36 minutes the last 4 games. 4 of the last 5 games he has covered this bet. Plus it's logical that Pau should be getting more rebounds without Odom, a big rebound guy gone. Player Performance Lakers vs Rockets Kyle Lowry, over 7,5 assists: 5 units 1.83 @Bet365 Lowry is coming off an 18 assists game and has covered this in the last 4 games as well. Don't fancy anything else tonight.

  4. Re: Darts: 2011 World Grand Prix Thanks for the tips. This is the first Darts event that I watch and it's brilliant! I love the atmosphere in the hall and this is truly exciting to watch. Even more exciting using some good tips from here. Can't believe that Chisnall hit like a one billion 180's and lost....really choked on the doubles in the end.

  5. Re: A Martingale Fail ! Started this thread last year, paper testing a Martingale, expecting it to fail but willing to see how far it could go.....since it hadn't finished yet, lets continue In running at halftime 39. Japan (women) - Australia (women), Japan to win 4 EUR @1.83

  6. Re: Basketball European Championship 2011 - Lithuania roschach have you been betting on basketball for a long time? I just wanna ask if you have felt a difference or researched a difference with the rule changes for last season....specifically the shot clock one, designed I guess to make it harder too slow the game down too much. I am myself ref in my own country but we don't take the rules up till this season.

  7. Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September

Norway V Iceland - Iceland under 0.5 team goals Another tight group here, and the home team badly need the 3 points. Norway are tied on 10 pts with Denmark and Portugal. In their 2 home games to date they have a 1-0 win over Portugal (admittedly struggling at the time) and a 1-1 draw with Denmark. They are generally steady rather than spectacular, and in their last 13 competitive games across 2 qualifying campaigns, have only lost to Holland (twice). They have also only conceded more than one goal in 2 of those 13. John Arne Risse is a injury doubt, but I don;t think that is such a bad thing as he is better going forward than defending. In their 2 aways, Iceland could only muster 3 attempts on goal against Denmark (lost 1-0), and just the 2 on target against Cyprus (drew 0-0). In both games they went for containment, and in fairness were only undone by Denmark by an injury time. They have just 2 goals, and 10 attempts on target, in their 5 games to date. They have lost 6 of their last competitive aways. Iceland also have manager issues, in that coach Ólafur Jóhannesson's contract has not been renewed, and he will leave at the end of this qualifying campaign. Not sure that this will be great motivation for the team, and there have been a number of withdrawals. This includes striker Heidar Helguson of QPR, who scored in their 1-2 reverse to Norway last Sept. Norway haven't got a great record against Iceland, but there is enough here to make me think they can at least not concede. 3pts Iceland Team Goals under 0.5 @1.91 - Sporting Bet :hope
I think I +1 this one. We are not as good as we used to be (not that we were ever briliant but 10 years ago we had chances till last round in group containing France, Ukraine and Russia), that's just a fact. We do have a good generation coming up (U-21 played final of European competition) but they are not quite ready yet. There is a problem with the coach, there seems to be a bad team morale around this coach. Every single match we have players withdrawing for some fake injuries or bogus reasons. Also he can't handle criticism and his contract will not be renewed. Already not playing this year is Bolton right back G.Steinsson. This time also 2 out of 3 most experienced players have withdrawn from this match,(Hreidarsson of Portsmouth and Helguson of QPR) and with them we lose the bulk of our aerial threat in corners and free kicks. Add to this the two most promising midfielders, Gunnarsson of Coventry is not playing and Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim is injured. Only possible threats up front would be Gudjohnsen who despite his obvious quality is getting past his prime and has had trouble finding the net. Also we have Sigthorsson of Ajax who has netted 4 goals in 4 games but expect the Norwegians to keep a close eye on him. Add to this that Iceland will play cautiously so I would be more inclined to bet on a Norwegian clean sheet rather than Norway overcoming AH.
