  1. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Sep 1 Thank you very much Shipsupstreets & Addpea. If you two agree then pile in is my non league philosophy ! Did doubles and trebles with my own selection of Fylde together with Gainsborough and Altrincham. Keep hearing how Fylde absolutely dominate games without finishing them off and at 4/9 thought they would be home and hosed by half time once they finally put it all together. Don't know how the scoring went in the second half but 4-3 sounds a bit close for comfort ! Thank you again.

  2. Re: England > Midweek > BlueSQ Bet North & South Aug 27 Uxbridge v Wembley FA Cup today and to be honest i know nothing about the relative merits of the two teams. All I can offer is this season there have been a few goals in Uxbridge's games. Just think that with sporting index pricing this one up there could be money to be made. If any of you gurus can offer any thoughts on the game it would be appreciated cos to be honest you guys know a lot more than than the guys from unsporting index.

  3. Re: Ligue 2 - 3-6 February Does anyone know whatever happened to Meatman Atko etc?Never seen in the New Year. What with Benny leaving the German forum this is a serious amount of knowledge that has gone. If ever Ships Addpea and Labrador were to leave the English non league set up it would be a case of having to seek counselling for imminent depression !. Are there any other greats out there covering other countries who give consistently good tips?

  4. Re: France - Coupe de France - 6-9 January Red Star v Marseille Interested in this game in that Red Star are struggling badly and it really does depend how much Marseille want to put on a show. Will be watching out for the teams on l'equipe website but surely now that Marseille have got the fans back on board they will not want to mess up. Valbuena is also talking up a good cup run and most interesting is the fact that this game is being played at the Stade de France. Yes the French Cup is known to be the punters graveyard but if I do see a strong Marseille side then I will be having a dabble on the spreads. Goal rush at 21-24 for Marseille with unsporting index is interesting in the hope that Marseille put out a strong team and go for it on the big stage against a weak Div 3 team and rattle in a few goals. Will cover it with a small interest on a betfair market of Red Star clean sheet which will be a big price. Q the surprise result of the night !

  5. Re: Copa del Rey Oneof the best - Seriously, I really would appreciate the courtesy of a reply because you are talking serious money here and on face value I saw your comment and foolishly didnt even consider the game as a betting medium. If I had done my homework(yes it was my own fault) and seen that these players were turning out then this game on the spreads this would have been a serious betting opportunity. Please let me know who told you that the stiffs were going to play because this is a proper serious betting medium and throw away comments from your contacts can cost people an awful lot of money!?

  6. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Buy of Dortmund corners at 6.2 Dortmund V Marseille -spreadex Was undecided as to whether to buy total goals in this game but instead have gone for Dortmund corners. The downside seems minimal for a top quality German team who have to go for goals from the off roared on by arguably the noisiest crowd in Europe. Marseille have picked up in recent weeks but they may need to go for the win if Olympiakos are leading against a weakened Arsenal. This could open things up even more.

  7. Re: Germany - Bundesliga II - 2-5 December One bad result in amongst so many winners. No need to react to any comments. Absolutely fantastic accurate write ups and one of the few people on here that I make a point of reading. Keep it up mate. You have won me a good few English pounds on here over recent months. Look forward to your comments tomorrow. If you could send em through a good half hour before k.o it would be appreciated. Stops me getting my bets on in a mad panic just before k.o. Top quality.

  8. Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet Prem Nov 18-19 Shipupstreets. Fantastic performance. Must admit as a first time caller I would just like to say what a pleasure it is to read the comments of yourself, Labrador Addpea and al. A remarkable amount of information and knowledge of the lower leagues. Nothing much to add but I must say over the years I have had a fair bit of success on the rugby and football spreadbetting but as the spread boys have wised up it is becoming a lot harder. An old work colleague got me into it about 7 years ago and no word of a lie his profit over a 5-6year spell was over 100k. I was less bold but did very well out of his investigations. Rugby was his speciality and often on a small fortune could be made by checking the weather conditions, heavy rain before ko meant a chunky sell and a profit without an egg being passed ! Seriously could write a book about the coups, dramas etc but sadly it would only make sense to the few serious spreadbettors about who ply their trade ! He has now called it a day as a result of a combination of doubling his salary when being made redundant, family commitments and worst of all the companies limiting his bets and allowing him only to ring his bets through. He did open accounts in friends names but they are not stupid and they were quite clever at spotting him. Probably because there are so few winners out there. In the glory years they genuinely used to make quite obvious errors when setting the spreads and good money could be made. Sadly must own up to sneaking a few chunky arbs years ago such was the disparity between the prices set by ig, spreadex and unsporting. Unsporting used to be the real leaders when it came to setting the markets but now I get the impression spreadex seem to set the pace and have far more live games on offer. Anyway enough of the rambling, shipup, one bet I tend to do these days is if I fancy a home time to do well and run in a few goals is to buy that teams goal rush and then on betfair have a bet on the opponents keeping a clean sheet. If they draw a blank then you are covered, one goal is the downer, two goals is usually a small loss but if you can get the big one at 5 and 6 then you are doing well. Anyway keep up the good work. Do fancy Aldershot for this bet against Maidenhead as long as they are not too high. Could be around the 23-26 mark which may need to be also covered with the 1-1 and 1-0. Just think if Aldershot get an early goal then it could get messy as Maidenhead can let in a few.
