Re: Destiny Its actually 50% of the bank, and I know this is stupidly high. I am just doing this to see if I can make a few good selections and make a hypothetical profit over a short period i.e. until my pay cheque goes into the bank and I can start betting properly again.

After a really bad time recently, I am contemplating giving up the whole betting thing. Not one to made these decisions lightly, I have decided to set myself a test. With a starting bank of 100pts, I am going to place 20 bets, each time placing 50% of the bank each bet. If at the end of these 20 bets, I end up with a profit, then I will continue to bet. If not, then you will never here my words of wisdom again:rollin :rollin . So, to start things off, 50pts on Houston @ Milwaukee OVER 9 @ 2.00 (in the MLB) Current bank is 50pts 19 bets remaining...... (Please move this thread if you can think of a better forum to put it in)

Re: EIGHT STEPS TO A FORTUNE I remember someone doing this a while ago. He did doubles or trebles of "bankers" at odds of about evens. He wanted to go from 50 to 50000 in 10 hits. I think he got to about 3500 then I'm not sure what happened.

Looking to start a new system considering the stupidity of my last one. This is based on picking 9 teams/players. 3 of which will be odds-on, 3 will be about evens and 3 will be odds-against. These will be permed in 3 trebles, consisting of the three odds on bets, three evens and three odds against. Starting with a bank of 100, 10% of the bank will be placed on each treble and 5% will be placed on a 9-fold accy of all the selections (just in case ;) ).The selections will be made on any sport, so bets MAY be placed in midweek aswell as the weekend. I'll be back to make the first selections later on.

Ive been thinking for a while about a system of 4 double result (Win-Win) bets in a Yankee for slight odds-against teams. Based on a team with odds of 2.2 to win, the double result odds will be about 3.6. 4 games permed in a Yankee gives the following returns @ 1pt per line (11pt stake): 0 correct: 0pts 1 correct: 0pts 2 correct: 12.96pts 3 corrdct: 85.54pts 4 correct: 432.34pts I know that this is rather risky, and some of you out there will not approve, but I ask that you let me run this for a while to see how it goes:D .
