  1. Re: 2nd April - 8th April Lucie Safarova to beat Aleksandra Wozniak. 1.71 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Third time lucky, I hope going against Wozniaki I wonder how much more she can offer physically after two very tough matches. Safarova dropped just two games yesterday and despite being error prone she can really hit you off the court. Lots of power, can serve very good on her day etc. Considering the energy factor, I think Safarova will have a clear advantage. Nadezda Petrova -3 vs Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. 1.93 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Pavlyuchenkova in really horrible form, barely beat Daniilidou in previous round. Petrova struggled a bit against Craybas but you can understand that as Jill is not that bad. Petrova working with Sanchez this year and there are few obvious improvements in her game, especially more positive attitude. Considering how poor Pavly has been lately and the fact that she is not much of a clay court player, I am backing Petrova here without any doubts. Should be able to win with something to spare. Venus Williams -6.5 vs Anastasia Rodionova. 2.00 @ Bet365 (7/10) Ok, Venus has one match under her belt and with little help from Jankovic she won 7-5, 6-0 last night. Rodionova doesn't possess any threats to Williams and it will be all about how much Venus gives away. Rodionova is mentally very vulnerable tennis player and naturally falls apart against Top ranked players. I think this could be a very quick job for Venus. Don't think she will drop more than 4-5 games. Prefer handicap over unders as there might be a few games at the start of the match when Rodionova hangs on. Yaroslava Shvedova to beat Sabine Lisicki. 2.55 @ Bwin (3/10) Slava is my underdog choice of the day. She's been very good this week, has not dropped a set in 4 matches, that's including qualies. Liciski, former champion here, had a very tough match against Hlavackova, won in three sets. btw, Shvedova beat Hlavackova in straights in qualies. Lisicki has got serve and big shots but she makes way too many errors. Shvedova more solid and can take an advantage of gifs she'll be given. Shvedova has beaten Lisicki both times they've played - 6-4, 7-6(3) in Hopmann Cup in 2010 and 6-3, 0-1 via a retirement in Miami the same year. With Lisicki's notorious injury problems, I would not be shocked if she quit today again...

  2. Re: NBA April 2012 Bucks -11.5 vs Cavaliers. 1.83 @ Pinnacle (7/10) Cavaliers are without Irving once again and that means massive problems. Not having Irving means less defense and less offense. They were hammered by 35 at home by Spurs last night. Bucks didn't play and will be fresh. Besides Milwaukee really need to win as they're fighting for the final play off spot in East. Bucks by massive 37 points six days ago. Shouldn't be a problem to blown Cavs out at home. Mavericks vs Grizzlies. Under 186.5 points. 1.82 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Two very good defensive teams and not so good offensive teams are playing in Dallas tonight. This will be 3rd match in 3 days for Memphis which only means even slower pace than they usually play. Grizzlies have very good record against Mavs and I actually fancy a handicap on Memphis but there might be some dead legs come the 4th quarter, so I chose unders. 186.5 points in current circumstances looks too much to cover. Suns +7 @ Jazz. 1.80 @ Pinnacle (7/10) Both Jazz and Suns are fighting for a play off berth, so I expect a very close match. Utah has fallen apart lately, but Suns on the other hand have been playing very good lately. Besides Phoenix usually gets very good results against and have won 6 in a row against Jazz. Even if Utah finally beats Suns, I don't think it will be by big margin. +7 on Suns looks like a bargain.

  3. Re: 2nd April - 8th April Polona Hercog to beat Varvara Lepchenko. 1.71 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Hercog very solid in her opening match, even better than I expected. Dropped only 16 points on serve and was broken just once. Lepchenko on the other hand had a nightmare match against Yakimova, played three sets and could have lost. Like I said in previous post about Hercog, she normally shows up only on clay and feels comfortable on this surface. Have to fancy her to win. Hercog has won their only meeting on clay easily - 6-1, 6-2 in Cuneo Challenger in 2009. Barbora Zahlavova Styrcova to beat Aleksandra Wozniak. 2.80 @ Bwin (4/10) Once again, don't think this surface suits Wozniak. She had a very tough match against McHale and had to battle really hard to win yet another three set match. There have been way too many 3-setters for her lately. It takes away a lot of energy. Strycova nothing special about her, just a solid player who can do some damage against average players like Wozniak. She has beaten her all three times they've played and none of those has been on clay, so she has been able to deal with the Canadian on faster surfaces. Should be able to beat her on clay as well.

  4. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 3 April Barca vs Milan. Both to score. 1.90 @ Bet365 (4/10) Find this a decent offer. I think there's absolutely no doubt that Barcelona will score as they absolutely have to. I think Milan are well capable of getting at least one themselves as well. Barcelona have not got that good defense. Both Ibra and Robinho had great chances in the first leg. Can't imagine they would miss all the time. Ibra definitely would fancy to score at Camp Nou against his former team. I understand that Pato (he scored in Barcelona in September (2-2)) will play some part today after coming back from injury. All in all, there should be at least one goal for both clubs. Even more so after they both failed to score in the first leg.

  5. Re: 2nd April - 8th April Marina Erakovic -1.5 games vs Karolina Pliskova. 1.86 @ Pinnacle (4/10) These odds make very little sense. Unless Erakovic has got some sort of injury which I'm not aware of, I can not understand why she's not bigger favorite today. Pliskova basically a Challenger tour level and has won something like one main tour match on WTA. Not impressive to say the least. Lots of improvement lately but nothing really impressive about her results. She can serve and hit big shots but Erakovic has got the experience which counts the most here. I wouldn't rate her higher than 1.5 today, so have to play this. Choosing handicap which is tiny and can be a refund if she's is injured after all. Vera Zvonarava -3.5 vs Kateryna Bondarenko. 1.85 @ Nordicbet (6/10) Zvonareva has been terrible all year long, no confidece, no nothing. She has come out and said that she finally feels good about everything concerning the tour. She's a loosing finalist in Charleston in 2008 and 2010, so can play here and has got nice memories. My problem with Bondarenko is that she's the last person on tour I would trust. She is all over the place in terms of serving once again. 9 double faults, 5 times broken by average player Govortsova yesterday. Far from impressive stats. Zvonareva is 2-0 lifetime against Bondarenko and unless she drops a set, she should be good to cover the spread. There will plenty of break point opportunities for Vera, it's all about the conversion rate. Serena Williams vs Elena Vesnina. Under 17.5 games. 1.90 @ Bet365 (7/10) Vesnina was all over the place against Dubois yesterday. It's hard to see how she's goint to win points against Serena, let alone games. Williams need a good performance against the shocker against Wozniacki in Miami. Vesnina basically has got no weapons against Serena and this match will be all abot how many unforced errors the American makes. She can loos five games and still cover the line. In their only meeting Williams won 6-1, 6-1 in 2008 and Vesnina held her serve just once.

  6. Re: 2nd April - 8th April Fingers crossed, no choking today. Couple early ones Jill Craybas to beat Akgul Amanmuradova. 1.87 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Think old Jill can outsmart Amanmuradova here. The Uzbeki player basically all about serve and big shots, but covering ground is an issue as she's very tall. Craybas can mix it up a bit if needed and also can hit some big shots as well. Both passed quallies and Craybas was the more impressive not dropping a set. Big factor in my decision to back the American veteran is H2H stats. Craybas is 6-1 against Amanmuradova and the only time she lost was in three sets on hard courts. On clay, which will suit her more, she's 3-0 without dropping a set. Last meeting 6-3, 6-3 win in Barcelona last year. Anna Tatishvili to beat Arantxa Rus. 2.37 @ Pinnacle (3/10) Fancy Tatishivili as an underdog here. She made 3rd round in Charleston last year beating the likes of Dokic and Kirilenko in process. Anna plays her best tennis on clay and she never stops running, that compensates the fact that she lacks power. Rus very inconsistent player but finally has managed to put together decent run winning Ospray Challenger. Not much of a talent over there. Expect her to be a bit tired. Tatishvili beat her in Cuneo Challenger final last year, that's also on clay and has 2-1 overall record against the Dutch big hitter. Tatishvili needs to defend tons of points, so expect her to show up.

  7. Re: NBA April 2012 Kings vs Timberwolves. Over 216 points. 1.81 @ Pinnacle (7/10) The line sort of looks quite big but it's been calculated correctly. Kings are playing attacking ball game with no defense allowed. They are highest scoring team in NBA after the All-Star break. T-Wolves wouldn't mind playing this way, not even after a tough loss in Portland last night. Kings are playing at home and will dictate the pace. Both teams will have lots of scoring in the paint and therefore I expect overs in this one.

  8. Re: 2nd April - 8th April Kimiko Date-Krumm +5.5 vs Polona Hercog. 1.95 @ Nordicbet (6/10) Hercog pretty much plays only on clay and this could be her chance to make some damage but we must remember that Charleston is a green clay or in other words is not a real clay. Plays a bit faster etc. Krumm is crafty tennis player and despite her solid age can at least make this one a lot closer match than many expect. She's not gonna serve aces or kill you with her forehand/backhand but she can play long rallies. Hercog will do the same. I find stats very interesting as Krumm is 2-0 vs Hercog with both wins recorded in Fed Cup. One of those was on clay in 2010, the other on hard courts this year. Could be an upset on cards but will play it safe as +5.5 looks acceptable to me. Christina McHale to beat Aleksandra Wozniak. 1.68 @ Pinnacle (7/10) Wozniak has had some really impressive results recently, almost beat Venus etc. But that was on hard courts. Clay however is not her thing. Sha barely plays on this surface where as McHale actually is very good on clay. She spends a lot of time in Italy on clay and knows how to play on this surface. I'd fancy her to beat Aleksa on hard courts as well, so this is a no-brainer to back her on clay. She was in 1/4finals here last year, only stopped by Jankovic, but beat Watson, Kleybanova and Hantuchova prior that. So quite few points to defend as well. Sloane Stephens to beat Jamie Hampton. 1.86 @ Pinnacle (5/10) Another case where one player is good on clay but other one doesn't really play that much on a particular surface. Stephens has done very well on clay in juniors (French Open semifinal) and has got some results on WTA tour as well. My worry for Hampton is that she, despite being older, has got less experience at this level, besides looks tired and is slightly injured as well. Stephens beat her in Indian Wells last week on hard courts in straights (6-2, 6-4). On paper, this one looks like a win on clay as well.

  9. Couple overs to start this month with! Rockets vs Pacers. Over 192 points. 1.84 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Quite surprised to see total points line below 200 points. Both are offense minded teams and will defend poorly. Besides Indiana are playing back to back after run'n'gun game against Spurs. The travel wasn't that long as Houston is not so far away from San Antonio. Expect Indiana to be fresh enough to make this a real contest. Rockets are averaging 105.1 points in last eight at home. Pacers gave up 112 vs Spurs last night and it could have been even more as Spurs slowed down in the 2nd period. Rockets quite enjoy running and Pacers will offer them this kind of ball game. Overs for me definitely. Lakers vs Warriors. Lakers to score over 103.5 points. 1.83 @ Bet365 (7/10) The biggest problem for Warriors in this match-up is that they are very short and lack of centers will be a killer considering what kind of damage the likes of Bynum and Gasol can do inside the paint. That has been the case pretty much all the time in matches between these two. They last met on March 27 @ Oracle and Lakers scored 104 points. They can manged at least same amount at home, I guess. They were sloppy against Hornets in their last home match, so I expect a better performance this time around. Warriors basically won't be able to defend the paint. 26 points per quarter should not be problem for LA.

  10. Re: March 19-April 1 Fernando Verdasco to beat Nicolas Almagro. 1.85 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Amazing thing here is that they have never met on hard courts. Verdasco is 5-2 in H2H series, with all matches contested on clay. For me, Verdasco is better player on hard courts and that is the only obvious reason why I'm backing him today. Besides he has better previous round. Almagro was a break down against Goffin and should have lost the first set. His erratic style of tennis could let him down again. Julien Benneteau +5 vs David Ferrer. 1.88 @ Pinnacle (5/10) I think this match will be closer than most think or actually Benneteau could run away with it. Ferrer had awesome South American clay court swing but has been pretty average on hard courts in US since. Capitulation against Istomin was awful. Benneteau is playing quite similar style of tennis. Neither has got cracking serve, so they will cancel each out in baseline rallies. Find 5 games a bit big here for David to cover considering he has never beaten the Frenchman on hard courts (0-2). Albert Ramos to beat Richard Gasquet. 2.90 @ Pinnacle (3/10) Gasquet gifted Ramos a win in their last match couple weeks ago in IW (was 6-3, 5-2 with match points up) and knowing that the Frenchman likes to throw away matches, I wouldn't be shocked if the dude did it again. The odds on Ramos aren't as good as back then (5.14) but still pretty good for unfair play. Gasquet was fooling around against Stebe in his previous match and his overall form and mood doesn't look good. I think an upset could be on cards here. Sabine Lisicki to beat Na Li. 2.89 @ Pinnacle (5/10) Neither has impressed lately, but I think Lisicki will be more up for this one than Li. Sabine can play horrible tennis against lower ranked opponents but she naturally brings out her best against top opponents. She has got better serve and has got powerful shots from both wings. Unforced errors are a huge concern but it's exactly the same with Li. They have played couple times before and Lisicki has come out on top both times. Li couldn't beat Lisicki having two match points in Wimbledon last year.

  11. Re: March 19-April 1 Maria Kirilenko -3 vs Ksenia Pervak. 1.97 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Pervak was 3-0 down in the 3rd set against Schiavone in last round but managed to recover and win. Pervak is injured btw, not sure what's exactly ther problem is, though. Anyway, Kirilenko is a legit favorite in this match and by my reckoning should win comfortably. By that I mean covering 3 game spread even if it takes three sets. Style of game is pretty similar for both but Kirilenko will have more left in the tank and crucially makes less unforced errors. Picking Masha by 3 games or more. Marion Bartoli -3.5 vs Simona Halep. 1.85 @ Pinnacle (5/10) Bartoli tanked the first set against Hercog but then played really well. Halep has been solid this year but has not done anything breath taking. Can see her challenging for some part of this match but not walking away with a win. Bartoli won't be tired yet as this will only be her 3rd match so there's still plenty left in the tank and therefor I reckon she'll be good for a win. This match will be a baseline ball bashing and Bartoli is very good at it unless Halep can make her chase the ball too often. Not sure the Romanian will be able to do so. Bartoli crushed her 6-4, 6-1 on clay last year and Halep was actually favorite in that match as clay is her favorite surface. Bartoli should have a bigger advantage on hard, even though it's quite slow in Miami. Victoria Azarenka vs Heather Watson. Under 16.5 games. (7/10) Watson has managed to win 3 games in 4 sets against Azarenka. Vika was all over the place in her last match against Krajicek and should have lost the 2nd set. Expect her to play lot better. Saw her match against Watson in Aussie Open and there was basically nothing the Briton could do about Vika and won just a solitary game. Watson is not going to beat Aza from the baseline, nor will serve good enough to pick up cheap points. Should be a quick one for the world #1

  12. Re: NBA March 2012 Hawks -2 @ Wizards. 1.84 @ Pinnacle Wizards look more like a basketball club with the addition of Nene but they still are a bit short in terms of the overall quality. The bench for me is a big problem. Hawks haven't been at full strength for some time now but they have lost only against Boston in their last five matches. Atlanta have beaten Wizards twice this season, both on home court by combined margin of 32 points. Should be good for a win in DC as well. Nets -5 vs Bobcats. 1.78 @ Pinnacle Bobcats are the worst team in NBA and they're playing like one. Getting rid of Boris Diaw doesn't make any sense whatsoever. He was the one who could actually get some buckets. Nets have been sloppy all year long but they haven't had problems dealing with Charlotte. Nets have beaten Bobcats all 3 times this term and will make it a clean sweep in this season's series in Newark today. Spurs -4 @ Hornets. 1.82 @ Pinnacle The odds are influenced by the fact that Parker is out but Spurs will be ok. Well, at least against crap team like Hornets. SAS beat Mavs without Tony last night and I can see no reason why wouldn't they get past Hornets who have done nothing special lately. Beating Clippers is no big deal as Clippers are tired and in mess. Just like Knicks were before D'Antoni was fired. Think Spurs will have this one in the bag with something to spare. Mavericks +4 @ Rockets. 1.81 @ Pinnacle Actually quite fancy Dallas to win this one but will play it safe and have just a handicap. Mavs are an old team and playing back to back matches means that bench players will be involved quite a bit. Rockets are missing some people and overall have not done a lot lately. They beat Warriors who had nobody to guard paint in their last match but win against Lakers was lucky as LA blew away big lead. Mavs' chances in this one coz in terms of quality there's a difference in favor of the champs. Kings to win @ Warriors. 2.09 @ Pinnacle Warriors are in a huge mess at the moment. Ellis is gone, Curry is always injured, they have nobody at the five spot which basically mean that Cousins will kill Warriors inside. Kings have outside shooting as well on offer. Basically in terms of the match-up Warriors lose out in covering the paint and rebouding and that most of the times is decisive. Pick Kings in this one.

  13. Re: March 19-April 1 Djokovic vs Baghdatis. Over 19 games. 1.95 @ Pinnacle (5/10) Baghdatis has never beaten Djokovic in six tries but he has managed to take a set against Djokovic in five of six matches. The other one in which he didn't ended with 20 games being played (6-2, 7-5 win for Nole in Rome 2007). Now Baghdatis can't play on clay, but it's a different story on hard courts. Playing against Top guys naturally brings out the best of him and I expect nothing less today. Djokovic isn't as good this year as he was in 2011 and mentally that is an advantage for his opponents. 19 games looks bit short here and Baggy prolly won't need to win a set to cover overs. Wozniacki vs Cetkovska. Under 19 games. 1.87 @ Pinnacle (6/10) How is Cetkovska still in this tournament I don't know. She was 6-0, 4-0 down against McHale but somehow managed to escape from the defeat. No escaping against Wozniacki. Cetkovska has got very powerful game but I'm not sure she's in her best form right now. Wozniacki beat her 6-4, 6-1 in last year's New Haven final and Cetkovska was in much better form back then. Perhaps, the first set could be competitive but not beyond that.

  14. Re: March 19-April 1

Following the Hantuchova match is crazy... don't know if I have ever seem a game with that many breaks... :rollin
That was a joke. Pretty sure both tried to lose. Bondarenko is well known for this and Hantuchova has only recently started doing shit. Her loss against Halep in Doha last month was as bad as this one, only difference - it was televised. Had she really wanted to win today,Hantuchova could have hammered that Bondarenko girl by something like 6-2, 6-2. Bondarenko with tons of double faults, couldn't hold her serve etc. Bondarenko was the smartest of the two in the end and lost it.
  15. Re: March 19-April 1 Bit of WTA action... Aleksandra Wozniak to beat Monica Niculescu. 1.78 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Bottom line here is match-up problems for Niculescu. She always struggles against big hitters and Wozniak definitely won't waste any time to hammer all the short balls she gets. The Romanian doesn't normally attack, just plays her dull slices. This sort of tactics can work against some players but when you got somebody who can hit it really hard at the other side of the net, you're in trouble. Wozniaki in decent shape having won Nassau challenger last week. Badly needed confidence booster. She has played good tennis this year and almost beat Radwanska in Dubai. Wozniak has managed to beat Niculescu on clay which kind of makes me think she can deal with her on hard courts as well. Marion Bartoli vs Polona Hercog. Under 19 games. 1.85 @ Nordicbet (5/10) Hard courts is not Hercog's thing. She did beat Hampton in the first round but it had lots to do with the American being very tired after busy schedule. Expecting Bartoli take care of the Slovenian with something to spare. They last met in Sydney earlier this year and Bartoli won 6-3, 6-3. Had this been played on clay, I perhaps would have stayed away as Hercog loves playing in the dirt but hard courts is a big no no for her. Handicap is 5.5 games and not sure I would play that as it's a half game too big for me Ksenia Pervak to beat Francesca Schiavone. 1.86 @ Pinnacle (4/10) Schiavone has got awful record in Miami normally going out in 2nd or 3rd round. She has reached 4th round only twice in so many visits. Probably it has to do with the conditions. She's not in great form lately either. Pervak playing very good ball game in recent weeks and she has got a game to beat the Italian. Pervak plays aggressive and attacking tennis and in my opinion can get past the Italian's defense. Pervak destroyed Yakimova 6-4, 6-0 in the first round and the important thing was 1st serve stats. Pervak made 74% first serves and gave up just one break point. Solid stats. Flavia Pennetta -5 vs Lourdes Dominguez-Lino. 1.85 @ Pinnacle (5/10) If Pennetta doesn't mess around she will get off the court quite quickly. Lino lacks power to deal with Pennetta who will be all over the Spaniard. There's really no answer for Lino. She's not gonna serve aces and she's not gonna beat Pennetta from the baseline either. Basically, it's Pennetta's to lose. She's lost only once against Lino in 6 matches and that was on clay which obviously is Lino's favorite surface. She was a break down in both sets against Jovanovski but the Serbian girl just has not got any motivation these days and gave up. Pennetta will be totally different animal. Should be something like 6-3, 6-2. Daniela Hantuchova -4 vs Kateryna Bondarenko. 1.98 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Couple things that are against Bondarenko. First of all, she is billion miles away from her best form and secondly, perhaps more importantly, she will be on limits as she has played 8 sets in qualies+R1. The last match was a 3-setter against Urszula Radwanska. Bondarenko produced 20(!) double faults. C'mon! This just not gonna work at the moment. Besides she was broken 10 times and it could have been even worse. Considering all this and the fact that Hantuchova is fresh and 3-0 in H2H series, she should get a win today and I reckon there might be significant handicap when the match is done.

  16. Re: NBA March 2012 76ers to win @ Bulls. 2.63 @ Unibet (3/10) Bulls are officially without both Rose and Deng. That's their two leading scorers. Chicago were beaten by poor Portland last night and I naturally believe Philly can deal with understrength Bulls team as well as in my eyes 76ers are better team than Blazers. Philly has already beaten Bulls once this season, knocking them down 98-82 at home. In the other match, also at Wells Fargo Center Bulls won by 96-91. Rose and Deng combined for 43 points. Bare in mind, that Watson is also out, Bulls will have a tough one tonight. Having a crack at Sixers today.

  17. Re: NBA March 2012 Spurs +4 @ Mavericks. 1.81 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Mavs with not much of a form lately. Have only beaten league's worst teams Wizards in Bobcats in their last five matches. Spurs on the other hand manged to hammer Thunder last night. This will be 3rd time Mavs and Spurs meet this year. San Antonio won their home match 93-71 but lost in Dallas by one in overtime (100-101). I think Spurs definitely have real shot today even without Jefferson. They're quality team whilst Mavericks are in a huge mess. Although I'm tempted to play Spurs outright, will go for a safer option and +4 spread.

  18. Re: NBA March 2012 Pacers vs Knicks. Over 196.5 points. 1.81 @ Pinnacle (6/10) B2B situation for both clubs and they are playing each other for the consecutive nights. Knicks won at home 115-110 last night. Played overs in that one and was lucky to get away as it was a very low scoring first half but they picked up their offense in the 2nd half. Expect Indiana to score better at home. Knicks are flying on the offensive end at the moment. Like I wrote yesterday, hard to see this one staying under 200 points.

  19. Re: 12th March - 18th March Nadal -1.5 games vs Federer. 1.85 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Federer has not completely recovered from his illness which is another reason he might struggle today. He has beaten Rafa only once on outdoor hard courts, that was back in 2005 in Miami. Nadal is 7-1 against Roger on particular surface. He played really awful match yesterday against Nalbandian and admitted that it was his worst match of the tournament. Couldn't disagree with it and naturally expect vast improvement from the Spaniard. Federer might win a set here but as far as match goes, I still pick Rafa. Fitness won't be an issue for him as Nadal can easily go for 4 hours. The fact that Federer had a walkover against Del Potro (Juan Martin collapsed in the very first game after a bad call) yesterday won't help. I am playing Rafa today. Reckon he can cover handicap even in a three set match. He normally doesn't get hammered and there might be one successful tie-break for Fed or a 6-4 set.

  20. March 16 picks Heat to win @ 76ers. 1.62 @ Pinnacle (7/10) Find this a really good offer. Heat have lost two in a row going down against Magic and Rose-less Bulls. They surely won't want to drop another one as they are losing more ground on Chicago. Miami has had no problems dealing with Philly lately having won against them 9 times in a row in the regular season. Two of those wins have been recorded this year. They crushed sixers by 20 pts in Philly last month (99-79) and being full strenght I can not see a reason why would they lose today when they really need to win. Expect a solid effort from Heat. Knicks vs Pacers. Over 197 points. 1.84 @ Pinnacle (6/10) Funny how it sometimes goes. Knicks have found their offense just when D'Antoni left. Defending is suspect still and Woodson will need time to make the difference. Pacers are very good offensive team themselves and can score from down town and also in the paint with their biggs. I'd be surprised if this one stayed below 200 pts. Match will be played in MSG and you don't need to know anything more. Celtics -3 AH @ Kings. 1.80 @ Pinnacle (5/10) Celtics on a very long road trip but won't be tired as their previous match was against a nearby Warriors. Kings have lost three in a row and in terms of quality there is nothing to suggest they will have good chance today. They might keep it close but I expect Cs to make it count when it matters the most. Celtics have won their last 4 matches in Sacramento. Defense will be a decisive factor and with Kings giving up over 100 points it's hard to see them getting past a very solid defensive team.

  21. Re: 12th March - 18th March Have shocked myself by not touching WTA today. Here's the opinion about Federer match and also taking overs in Rafa's match. Federer -3 vs Del Potro. 1.91 @ Pinnacle (5/10) Federer has already beaten Del Potro 3 times in 2012. Del Potro has managed to get only one break in those matches and overall has been unable to get it going against Roger. Their last meeting was couple of tie-breaks for Federer in Dubai. Federer did not face a break point in that one and managed to win the 2nd tie-break being 6-2 down. Overall I think Federer has a good chance of getting an easier win today, probably a break in each set could happen. Have seen Potro against both Matosevic and Istomin. Neither is a world class player yet Del Potro struggled against both of them and, he was lazy and disinterested at times. This kind of stuff won't work against Federer. Besides there's always that mental aspect of their H2H meetings as well. Fed dominates 10-2 and has not lost against Del Potro since 2009. Handicap over unders for me in this one. Should be good to cover. Nadal vs Nalbandian. Over 19.5 games. 1.94 @ Pinnacle (4/10) There was a time when Nalbandian had very good record against Rafa. He actually won the first two meetings and should have made it 3-0 in IW in 2009. He held 5 matchpoints against Nadal but incredibly failed to close it out. He has not beaten Rafa since then. They have played couple times since that Indian Wells shocker and Nalbi has managed to take only one set on a tie-breaker. In this match I expect at least on close set before Nalbandian falls apart again. Neither guy is an ace machine and if there is someone who can live with Rafa on the baseline then it's Nalbandian. They will cancel each other out. Should a close one. Well, at least the first set..
