  1. Open event this still. Zhang right on there from your picks Fader. I also thought Van Rooyen would be suited here Wolff is the standout name at half way and tempting to back. But looking for some value further down I've had a nibble Danny Lee 84/1 and Si Woo Kim 129/1 both Betfair. The latter might not always putt well enough in low scoring events (i have him down as a tough course specialist) , but he's a decent price if he can get the putter working
  2. I didn't have much idea about this event so left it apart from a long bet on Otaegui in-play. He is too far off now. Good shout so far with Chesters 👍. Might suit him coming from off the pace today and looks like there might be enough wind about to unsettle the leaders.Ive followed and had a bet this morning on him at 29/1 on Betfair exchange (Win Bet). LIke the look of the Danish lad Hogjaard - looks a good prospect
  3. I wasn’t sure about this one at all so chanced some outsiders. Took some value bets for interest with Kurt Katayama (130s) and Lewis (330s). Tringale was a decent bet that I followed from someone else. I liked Hatton and Web Simpson to go well again but not the price so left them. Brendon Todd I backed at 70s but admit the main motivation was taking a featured group player to follow – he played very well yesterday apart from a sloppy DB that cost him – has to a regular top 20 guy with his accuracy. My best bet was a bit surprising - had Wallace at 220s as seen glimpses of form with him but 6 under a great start – long way to go 👍
  4. Good stuff Fader, 👍 I used to visit here a bit but not for a while. Will post my picks for this week Since the resumption, a lot of the big boys have come out in decent form and this course will play even more to their strengths. I was on Hatton last week in play…. Went close. Also had JT Poston but even with his last 2 top 10s leave him this week, may not have the distance. This week I picked out the obvious BDC and Thomas before kick off but prices too skinny. I think it will be another tight week with quality on the leaderboard so keeping some funds for halfway. Was so many I could back including some of your picks Niemann, Ancer & Hovland – I left them to follow in play. Very much agree with them as selections. I did bet Conners at 110s Betfair , he has had a couple of good weeks and course should suit I have backed Sergio 60s Betfair, thought his performance last week went under the radar a little and I liked this price. Also a more iffy bet on Spieth at 60s Betfair hoping he can find some consistency. My silly price bets for the week are Wyndham Clark 400s Betfair (course would suit his distance more) and Bjerregaard 810s Betfair – the latter very much a wild pick and see how he goes first time out. He was woeful early season and hoping he has sorted himself out (average start) If i mention a price it will be Betfair and what I took a few days ago. Win bets only
  5. Re: Swansea City v Burnley > Saturday August 23rd I thought Chelsea eased off (us) Burnley in the 2nd half on Monday. Could have been a bigger margin. Burnley played with courage and high work rate and created some inroads but there were some hairy moments at the back and some basic errors in possession - I hope that was nerves. We will try and play positively again and the work rate and spirit will again be high and I think will cause Swansea problems... but I think Swansea will cause us more. Goals in this for me >2.5 - 19/20 Corals
  6. Re: Sky Bet Championship > Saturday August 16th Wolves one of my fancies to go well this season did not let me down last week by beating Norwich. Wolves 8/5 (boyles) looks good for me away to Rotherham who did well against Derby last week but came up short
  7. Re: Newcastle United v Manchester City > Saturday August 16th City looked half asleep vs Arsenal. The first half of last season they played away games half asleep. My view is that they are collectively lazy. There could be good value in Newcastle but I don't trust them at all and think they may struggle this season. For me it's a pity that City are not playing a different 'mid-table' team... one that I trusted... otherwise I would like the odds on a home win or draw
  8. Re: Burnley v Chelsea > Saturday August 16th My team (Burnley) will be motivated and organized and I'm hoping for a big performance. I'm also hoping playing Chelsea (and Man U) early is better than when they fully warmed up. However I just think Chelsea will get us at some point. Jutkiewicz has outshone Danny Ings in pre-season and might be worth an anytime goal punt if he starts. My head says we will struggle to score against them and Chelsea will grab a very late, spawny, thoroughly un-deserved, deflected miss-kick and win 0-1 No bet for me but agree on unders logic mentioned above
  9. Re: Manchester United v Swansea City > Saturday August 16th The problem with 2 of United's center backs is they don't play center back very often. They can get much improved. I thoroughly enjoyed United's slide last season but I think the fun is over and they will come back firing. The whole squad appears galvanized and motivated and I smell a point to prove and goals in this one. I view Swansea as a club taking backward steps but have a goal or two in them >3.5 goals @ 7/4 Boylesports
  10. Re: West Ham v Tottenham Hotspur > Saturday August 16th What I saw from Spurs last season was they were toothless. I note they have been OK pre-season but they are playing an Allardyce team that don't concede many and defensively well organized... and also have nowt up front. I'm going to chance on a 0-0 for this one Allardyce aiming for a top 10 finish this season No goalscorer @ 17/2 Boylesports - Low stakes Warning - The last 0-0 I backed was Germany v Brazil a month or so ago....
  11. Re: England vs India - Test Series Maybe England will fight back but 5/2 a very generous price on India in my opinion. Weather forecast when I checked now is 5 clear days in Southampton. Also reported it will be a track similar to Lords - green to start and turning towards the end of the test. Should be a result. India were better than England in the last test and can do same again - pressure mounting on Cook and England and they can collapse again. I'm not worried about the Toss - if England bat first there can be wickets, and if India bat first I think they can put up a good first innings total. Hope the reports on the wicket prove to be correct India @5/2 Boylesports
  12. Re: Ante-Post > Championship Relegation 2014/15 Relegation not always easy to predict in this league - However Blackpool are reported to only have 8 registered players at the moment and things are not harmonious there at all. It’s possible the only reason the manager hasn't walked is that he's waiting for the chairman to sack him so he can get a payout. And possibly the only reason the chairman hasn't sacked the manager is that he's waiting for the manager to walk so he doesn't have to make a payout. Things not looking good there Hence them being favorites for this
  13. Re: Ante-Post > Championship Promotion 2014/15 Wigan won't be playing in the Europa league this season and that probably affected the start last season also they had a long cup run that may have affected them. Derby were quite close to Burnley (my team) last season and was impressed by them when they played us they were unfortunate to get a red card in a close game. They finished the season very well after a average start. Also Blackburn finished the season well and could have made play-offs but for a couple of games drawn towards the end of the season that they probably could/should have won. I think (unfortunately for a claret) that they have turned the corner after a few years sliding – they have strikers that can score the goals to get them up and make a push for promotion. Another thread mentions Bournemouth and I also think they will go well under Eddie Howe - improving again this season. Wolves and Ipswich are others i will keep an eye on The relegated prem teams generally under-achieve in this division and I see nothing about Cardiff, Fulham or Norwich to suggest they will go against that. QPR did last season but it was far from a formality for them So, for now... my 3 in no particular order – Wigan, Derby, Blackburn
  14. Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 18th & 19th Agree on Burnley. They were excellent against Boro last week despite losing.... they just didn't do it the box but had so many crosses in there they could not capitalize on. Not their day. They did not look like a team on the wobble and if they repeat the performance level and attitude they will win at Blackpool
  15. Re: Arsenal v West Ham > Tuesday April 15th I didn't see anything encouraging about Arsenal's performance on Saturday against Wigan or against Everton last week. They are looking half the team from the earlier in the season. This fixture is the last thing they need it took Liverpool 2 penalties to beat West Ham. They are well organized, in your face and give you nowt. With boylesports its 7/1 on the Hammers and that looks worth a small nibble to me.
