  1. Re: Germany - Bundesliga II - 19-22 August

Nothing worse than people after timing.
Sorry, mate, didn't mean to brag here, I'm just saying that this league is much easier than France 2, for example... And I think more tips here in Bundesliga 1 and 2 are more on the target... Stop throwing rocks around, I didn't give any tips, or my bets, neither was I bragging...
  2. Re: France - Ligue 2 - 19-22 August Boulogne price looks great, if the teamnews about Tours injury list are correct... Also, Tour did very well at home, but not so well on the road last season... Regarding Troyes - Angers: Last three matches between them ended over 2,5 goal line, with Angers taking all three games this season over 2,5... It seems that both teams like attacking style, so maybe OVER 2,5 @ 2,20 (Bet365) and BOTH TO SCORE @ 1,83 (Bet365) might be good bets?

  3. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thurs 18 August

Hi, Spurs lineup will be something like this .. Gomes/Friedel Corluka/Walker Dawson Kaboul Ekotto Lennon Livermore Kranjcar Bale Defoe Pavlyuchenko
I like the idea of Kranjčar and Bale storming down the left flank... Even if the Spurs strikers don't score, these two are always hungry for goals... Tottenham looking good enough for me, always doing well in european cups, so, I'm on the wagon, Spurs away win @ 1,57 (Bet365)
  4. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thurs 18 August Well, today we'll see a lot of games (I hate this round), but I find one very interesting:

    maximize.gif NK Maribor v Rangers (19:45 BST) 3.32 3.35 2.2
What do we have here? The price on Rangers went up to 2,5 (Bet365) and I didn't catch any team news regarding their squad. Maribor will miss Vidović (defender). The "Viole" (Violets) from Slovenia don't strike me as a good enough squad to justify that price on Rangers. They will put in a fight, but... I rate Slovenian clubs very low, because Dinamo Zagreb throws one of them out of euro competition every year... So, maybe I'm bias, but I think Glasgow was unfortunate to be eliminated from CL by Malmo, and Maribor won't be a problem in the EL playoff... Hopefully, Rangers will go for a good game away, catch Maribor on the break, and go home without any doubts about qualifying...
  5. Re: UEFA Champions League > 16-17 August

Malmo is miss Ricardinho, left defender, key player but good sub there. I hope Malmo wins or draw so all this croatia inbreeds will be silent.
First of all, you are a loser. And, really, name-calling won't help you win any bets. Dinamo finally didn't disappoint us, I had no idea that they can play this good... Congrats to people betting on Dinamo, it was a great night in Zagreb, and we will play the Champions League this season! Malmo stood no chance tonight, I'm sorry i didn't bet big, I was affraid of my own bias towards Dinamo :wall
  6. Re: Austria - Bundesliga 1 - 14 August 2011

Ried - Salzburg: Salzburg @ 2.25 (Titanbet) 10/10 This is a good price for Salzburg's win. The guests have started the season well with a record of 2-1-0 and have progressed very nicely in the Europa Cup. Although Ried also progressed in the Europa Cup, the hosts season hasn't started well with a record of 0-2-1. Salzburg was the 2nd place team last season and will probably be a title contender this year. Ried isn't a bad team, but I think Salzburg has a better quality roster and with a win the guests move into 1st place after 4 rounds.
I'll go with the same bet, although something must have happened - Salzburg's price went to 2,70 (Bet365), and it seems like a very good value to me... I rate them around 45% to win this match... 2,70 is a gift IMO, so good luck... :hope EDIT: Salzburg NOT TO LOSE is @ 1,44 which sounds good as a safety bet...
  7. Re: Croatia Prva HNL 2011/2012

    maximize.gif RNK Split v NK Osijek (19:00 BST) 1.95 3.3 4.2 105.39 %
This is (IMHO) the most interesting match of this round... Split is playing very well under Mr. Katalinic, they are a strong, disciplined team, especially at home (they hold Fulham to a 0-0 draw, and almost nicked a couple of goals in). Osijek on the other hand plays well this season, but also, only at home. Osijek's star Marko Babić is on form at the start of this season, playing creative and quick football, but I don't see how Osijek could get a positive result away at Split. I rate this match as 50%-35%-15%, and the price on Split has sinked down to 1,72 (Bet365). Split will miss their standard central defender V. Vidic, while Osijek misses Jugović, while Smoje and Kvrzic missed out on some training because of light back aches, but will be in the squad. I see this as a tough match going to the home team, and I am very sorry I missed out on an early 1,95 bet -.- . RNK Split to win @ 1,72 (Bet365)
  8. Re: UEFA Champions League > 16-17 August

Why you talk crap i just read the tickets cost 1 euro. :loon
Actually, the tickets cost 1 croatian "kuna" = 0,2€ In any case, it seems that Dinamo bet is under pressure on the market, as it slipped down to 1,57 on Bet365... And I won't get into any more explaning why Dinamo Zagreb has so low attendance on HNL matches. Don't wanna to talk crap, as I understand it... :cigar
  9. Re: England > Weekend > Championship > 13-14 August

Blackpool vs. Peterborough - Blackpool to win @ 1.90 (Bet 365) Think there is good value on the home win here.
Not much to add, except that Blackpool just touched 2,0 mark on Bet365. For me, this is THE value bet, since I see Blackpool as very "homey" team, and I rate their chances of taking this match slightly over 50%... So, my bet is BLACKPOOL to win @ 2,0 (Bet365) :hope
  10. Re: UEFA Champions League > 16-17 August

Alessan can you tell me why your club has like 2000 people when its a seriematch then when its EL or CL qualify u got 25 000+. Dinamo favorites ofc playing at home etc but dont understimate Malmö.
It's a pretty easy question... The "Bad blue boys" - supporters of Dinamo are in boycott, because of disagreement with the board, and especially with Mr. Zdravko Mamic. And until this summer, the "Maksimir" stadium was in terrible condition and almost noone was willing to pay the ticket and watch bad croatian league football there. Now, Dinamo is stronger, the stadium is renovated, european matches are interesting and Maksimir will be full once again. I didn't underestimate Malmo, I respect the fact they have eliminated Gl. Rangers, but I still see Dinamo wining first leg. At least, they are capable of winning first match and fighting to qualify in other, away game.
  11. Re: UEFA Champions League > 16-17 August My initial two-cents about DINAMO Zagreb Vs Malmo FF I still can't evaluate the price of 1,75 (slided to 1,70 @ Bet365) on home win... And I must say I'm overestimating Dinamo because I'm their supporter. If the price was 2,00 I'd say go for it... Dinamo is playing very well this season, looking better from match to match... Malmo, on the other hand eliminated Glasgow Rangers, which says a lot. I think I'll wait to see what team news will be given form Zagreb, and post here. I hope that Dinamo can take the first game, and I most probably will bet on home win, hoping that striker Rukavina can hold current form (3 goals and an 1 assist in three games), and that Sammir and Badelj can play a game like they did against Villareal last season...

  12. Re: England: Premier League Aug 13-15 I see many members punting on Norwich, and on Wolves, and alongside that - the price for both picks is pushed from 4,2 down to 3,75. Good luck to early birds, but... I am not as confident as you are in Norwich taking the full spoils from Wigan, but with the prices dropping, I took "Draw or Norwich" (X2) @ 1,72 (Bet365), since on the matchday X2 might be priced as low as 1,55... I see this as a tough match for both teams, Wigan determined not to lose (in spite of lost valuable players), and Norwich might be satisfied to claim a point on their first match, considering it's an away fixture...

  13. Re: France - Ligue 2 - 5-8 August

Remember to look at the asian odds. Draw or Arles is Arles +0' date='5 in asian odds. There you would get 1,95 for the same thing :cigar[/quote'] Yeah, thanks, I don't play asian handicap, because it doesn't help me claim some bonuses on bet365... However, when I've placed my bet - "Arles or draw" went to 2.0 so that was the price I've got... It was a good day yesterday, I won 4 of 4 matches :))
  14. Re: France - Ligue 2 - 5-8 August

Put up or shut up. Meatman had a bad weekend, but it happens to the best of us, and he's good enough to take the time out of his day to post his picks. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. If you're disappointed, fine, but your reaction is totally out of order. In fact, forget about that valuable insight. Have yourself a ban for a total lack of respect to one of the people who make this forum tick.
Agreed... Respect is earned, and will be given. A lot of us have to thank both Meatman and Atko for their work on french leagues, and their info and advices... OT: Not much to say, for tonight I like "DRAW or ARLES" @ 1.83 (Bet365) I never had much faith in Metz, they had a poor season last year, and didn't start of this one very well, either... This round is pretty strange, with Le Havre losing, Tours winning on the road, and so on, so why wouldn't Arles grab at least a point here?
  15. Re: UEFA Champions League > 17th - 18th August The market is pressing down the price on Tottenham, ATM it's 1.66 on straight away win on Bet365, I've missed it a couple of minutes ago when it was @ 1.72. Now the starting price of 1.9 sounds way too good. Reading into the Spurs match against the Citizens (that bloke Hart cost me money with his great form), I see a comfortable away win, so they don't pile to much pressure on themselves for a return match.

  16. Re: International Friendlies > 10th - 11th August

Croatia @ 2.62 (Bet365) I think that the price may be a bit too high, I understand that the Slovaks were good at the World Cup, but our squad is pretty much complete and eager to prove themselves after missing the World Cup. Our scorers are in-form, and our morale is pretty high again.
Just to add some to this one, since it's a risky punt... I like the odds, since the value of our squad outweighs the Slovaks by 2:1. I know it's only a sum of values on the transfer market, but, hell, it SHOULD hold some weight... Olić is maintaining his form, his running and his stamina. Eduardo is kind of reborn in Shaktar, scoring and training like before the damned Taylor incident. Modrić and Kranjčar are as fine players as anyone in the world, and I give us at least a 45% chance for a straight away win. The only things that trouble me are good form of Robert Vittek (SVK), and the weakness we have on our left side of the defense line (Pranjic and Strinic are out for this game) which will be occupied by Drago Gabrić of Trabzonspor, and in reserve we will have Manuel Pamić of Red Bull Salzburg.
