Must say im pretty clueless on the flat so wanted to say cheers to Fin for yesterdays winner Veracity, which typically I backed at 11/4 then just had to lay when it went 7/4 (they get beat if you leave them eh!). Was going to follow today but no time but again..great shout...im hoping im here at the start of your roll... Looks like theres plenty of good judges here so see you about...esp when the jumps start proper. :ok

Re: Nottingham 8/10 2.40 Lay of Alanbrooke we have missed better prices to lay this morning but this ob can be interpreted as a good sign re the horses chances. Maybe 2.5 or 2.6 will become available nearer the race time as liquidity kicks in? Alanbrooke has run once,with the second franking the form but the going today will be significantly softer. Mark Johnston however does not have great stats at this track and given the many vagaries of maidens I think the above would be too short. Both Thousand miles(whose trainer is showing some back-end form) and Surrounded have good debut form in the book and boast very able pilots.
