Re: Barclays Premier League > Ante-Post 2011-12 Season What do Blackburn fans think of Maura Formica? He's been impressive pre season and could add a creative spark to the Rovers midfield. Does anyone think he'll be starting against Wolves?

Re: Quality/arrogance of posts
I think it would be disrespectful to advertise another forum on here so I'll PM youWhat forum? if you're allowed to say..... tbh PL is the best forum I've come across, and things could be much much worse. -
Re: Quality/arrogance of posts The ones who are worth listening to should know who they are. I think it's quite obvious which members of this forum I'm talking about. I could go through last weekend's premier league thread and name them but that would be an exercise in futility

Re: Quality/arrogance of posts
Same principles. Have the confidence to post' date=' and the forum will become what you expect it to be.[/quote'] It's not about confidence at all. I am very confident in my picks and post them on a very popular forum where I tip on the mainsite as well as the forum. It's about whether it's worth doing when no one can see them through the 10+ pages of rubbish p.s. it's of course nothing personal against you Jase, yours is one of the opinions worth listening to in that forum and there are others. It's just the overwhelming majority whos aren't -
Re: Quality/arrogance of posts
This is a big reason why I don't post picks here. I do regularly on another forum but there are so many people, especially in the UK forums, that just post garbage.Just seeing what other people think about this, but personally I feel the quality of posts has gone down slightly in some of the football threads. There's a lot of posts now of just rubbish, either people arguing with eachother or people not giving reasoning, and then after a result people boasting about how much money they've won or how incredibly talented at tipping they are. Anyone else have a view? -

Re: Champions League- 6th April
Why take any of those bets involving goal scorers when you could just bet on Campbell to be carded with skybet. Was at 5/1 yesterday but has now been brought down to 4/1.Interesting... Samir Nasri to Score and Xavi to be booked: 45/1 @ PP Messi to score and Xavi to be booked : 12/1 @PP Messi to score and Campbell to be booked: 17/2 @ PP Bendtner to score and Campbell to be booked: 19/1 @ PP Can see Campbell being ran circles round tonight so may show frustration? Food for thought... -

Re: Combining The Best Right, been a bit busy lately so havn't been able to go through the tipsters but I have found one for today. Bet 1 - Ankaragucu vs Besiktas Pick: A, Odds: 1.95, Stake: 10, Bookmaker: 188bet So that one will be backed with £50 as it has been given maximum confidence rating by the tipster :hope

New glory hunt time! I got bored pretty quickly from my last one but I intend to keep this one going. I'm sure this has been tried before, but I'm going to use the tips of the most consistent tipsters on the net and see the results. To qualify the tipster must have at least a 7% yield after 100 picks. There will be a max stake of £50 for each tip and the tips are given a confidence rating out of 10. Let's see how it goes :hope

Haven't done this in several years, but it was always a bit of fun. Hopefully you guys don't mind humouring me.
Just going to bet where I perceive a very high probability of winning and see where I can get with a hundred quid. Incredibly straight forward and naive.
Bet 1: No Southampton clean sheet @ 1.08. Stake £100
