Re: England > Weekend > Premier League > 10-12 September What about Sunderland to take something from the game vs. Chelsea? I think they have bought well and Bendtner is in my opinion, a good striker for a team like Sunderland. Chelsea haven't at all convinced me yet and I won't be surprised if Sunderland win or draw at home to Chelsea - especially given the fact it is an international week and half of Chelsea's squas (admittedly, probably along with Sunderlands) has been around Europe with their respective national teams. Odds for double chance 1 or X are 2.25 while a straight win is 5.50 - I might take a cheeky punt on this.

Re: Germany - Bundesliga - 9-11 September
Believe me, I'd gladly accept any result giving us the three points against Berlin. ;) With a handicap of plus +2 they're 1.85 on Bwin, and double chance on them not to lose is 3.00... any suggestions whether I should touch it? ;D ;D -

Re: Brazil Serie A 2011 THREAD Does Bagzi agree with Brazilian PTR - I'm asking you guys as you seem to be the most knowledgeable and regular users on this league

Re: Brazil Serie A 2011 THREAD Sorry guys but I do not follow Brazilian football but am considering followingyou on San Paolo to win given Rogerio Ceni's celebrations - do you see it as a comfortable win i.e. - playable with a handicap or a slight victory is more likely?

Re: Norway Lower Leagues 2011
[/quote COpying you on this... hope it's true got a lot riding on it - but on the lower over 2,5Sport Football (Norway) Event FK Bodo Glimt - Lov Ham Selection Over 3 goals Strength 10/10 Date 04/09/2011 Bookmaker/Price Betsafe @ 1.59 Reasoning Lov Ham has big financial problems, had to let go to a couple of players already. They are 2nd from bottom with just 13 points, and given the fact they usually have to make long trips in their away games while having nothing to lose they play open, score and concede many goals, like it has been the case in their last 3 road trips. 5-3 defeat at Asker, 2-2 draw at Ham-Kam and 4-3 win at Hodd. Bodo Glimt is a top team in Adeccoligaen, they are unbeaten at home, but have drawn 4 of the 10 games. Usually teams come to defend here, but Lov Ham is a different story. Last season Bodo Glimt won 3-0. Given the problems for the guests, u do feel they can easily score 2 goals here. While given the open style of Lov Ham in their recent outtings, they can also score. So over 3. -
Re: Italy - Serie A > Ante-post 2011/12 Season
Oh sorry to hear that mate - I hadn't heard about Donadoni's sackingUnfortunately Donadoni's ridiculous sacking scuppered my Pioli bet. There was a window in which you could snap him up as 'next' manager to be sacked at the same price. I didn't go back in though. -
Re: Spain - Liga Adelante - 3-4 September
I'm taking this bet -looks promising given tehw ay Elche have started the leagueSport Football (Spain) Event Elche vs Real Murcia Selection Elche Strength 10/10 Date 03/09/2011 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.88 Reasoning Elche missed out on promotion by a very small margin last season. They opened the season with a strong victory away from home winning 1-4 versus Girona. The same cannot be said about promoted club Real Murcia who lost their first game at home 1-3 versus Celta Vigo. I expect Elche to have a very good chance for promotion this time around as well and given the way they played their first league match, I have no problems backing them to get the win at home versus newly promoted Real Murcia. -
Re: International Friendlies > 2-7 September
that's why it was too high - they were outplayed in the first half and dare I say it - did not deserve to winFor Spain at home, 1.35 is too high except against the top, top sides, imo. Chile don't really park the bus either. -
Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September
True - but that's true with every bet I assume. I should hv staked more on it. Whoever first suggested the Faroe Islands win with a handicap - kudos - made a very decent profit on it... Any thoughts on the next games/FT: 11-0 Bet was not quite 'printing money' - there were no guarantees. But it was very good value :ok -
Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September
I think Bwin offer European handicaps' date=' not Asian handicaps. If the Faroes lose by 2 goals, with a +2 European handicap you lose your bet. With a +2 Asian handicap you would get your money back. This explains why the odds are higher than the Asian Handicap odds quoted earlier.[/quote'] Oh you are probably right. I only use Bwin so I wouldn't notice the difference. Are the odds differences that minimal usually? To have that safety bracket for such a small difference in the profit margin is very good -
Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September
The odds on Bwin for the faroe Islands with a +2 handicap is 4.20 with a +3 handicap is 2.20Unfortunately the price has dropped a lot, but I will still back them with small stakes. Faroe Islands +2.5 @ 2.02 (2 units) Bet365 -
Re: Russian Football Leagues 2011
Copying you on this - much smaller stake. Odds are 1.60 on bwinVolga Tver - Saturn-2 - 3rd, West Pick : Volga @ 1.67 Bwin Stake : 3/4 = 90 Euro Its already known players Saturn-2 left club, now other 3 important gone for better clubs (included gkper) . Second gkper is crap, so the young team of Saturn-2 face big troubles. Dont look at the standings, look for the insider tip. And.. past 3 results of Saturn-2. My call is obvious, home win. Odds local russian bookie start 1.65 , now 1.45. Anything but a home win (even convincing) should be considered surprise. Otherwise, think why Saturn-2 better placed team is outsider here. Right odds looking at table should look like: 2.30 - 3.20 - 3.20. Starting odds 1.65 - 3.20 - 4.00 GL ! Lets hope for a good start, and this is the only bet for today. Past 3 months, 187 bets russian leagues, only 8 involved 3rd div West, with the following record: 6-0-2 , stakes: 33 units, profit: 22.80 , yield: 69.09 % -
Re: Italy - Serie A > Ante-post 2011/12 Season
Genius mate... thanks for the tip! Super. Serie A hasn't even started and you made moneyI'll be trying to knock up a preview of sorts closer to the start of the season that will simply explain how I feel about each side this year. However I was having a peak around Unibet and saw that they had a lot of ante-post markets up already - some of which are very interesting. Here are the first two bets I'll be taking. First manager to be sacked: S Pioli (Palermo) - 6.50 - 7 points As of right now this side is significantly weaker than they were last season. Pastore is gone and I can't imagine they will be able to bring anyone in that comes close to what he added. They are already out of EL after losing to Thun on away goals. As a squad of players they are weak mentally. Can't defend for shit and I don't imagine Pioli's 3-4-2-1 helping in that respect. There is dough in the account but they aren't capable of going out and scooping a top class player to boost the squad. They have a so so squad that I could see struggling in all honesty. Couple that squad with their chairman and Pioli should be worried. Zamparini is a wild man and goes through managers like nobody else. He has zero tolerance and high expectations. Last season he sacked Delio Rossi, hired Sersi Cosmi and then re-hired Delio Rossi a month later. Delio Rossi has now gone again and I think Pioli is a good shout to be the first to get sacked this season. Quite high stakes for such a speculative market but that's how mental Zampa is! -
Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September Netherlands -4 vs. San Marino @1.60 with bwin seems to be printing money to way you are describing it. The last 3 games of San Marino away they lost 8-0 twice and 6-0 once. Is the Dutch squad weakened or have they already qualified? Seems strange that odds are so decent.

Re: England > Midweek > Johnstones Paint Trophy > 30 August
freebetting.co.uk - I think - used to be good but I haven't checked it out in ages.Is there a web site where I can read some previews like they have on teamtalk for example? -
Re: Italy - Serie B - 30-31 August
Sorry mate as I'm new to the forum - when you say strength 10/10 do you mean that you are fully confident in it and will bet significantly on it?Sport Football (Italy) Event Nocerina v Brescia Selection away Strength 10/10 Date 30/08/2011 Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 2.88 Reasoning the seria newly relegated team prove alot to the big team in seria A last season i think they have what it takes to win this as they will surely want to bounce back and they start this from the beginning of the game and i can see them winning this game. -
Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September I just rarely see any value in International football The odds I'll look for is Huntelaar to score at any time vs. San Marino but they'll be tiny odds.

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September
I don't think I'm going to touch England. France play away to Albania who are a decent, physical team... Germany still look the bettThe odds for England isn't very tasty at this moment.... when you could get them @1.70 i think i would take them, but right now @1.60 i guess no. Rob green is ruled out for England's squad so it looks like there will be some problems with goalkepers for England. Also Bent (groin) and Lescot (ankle) left the training early so there are some doubt if they will play. I will go with Portugal + France @ 1.84 Bet365.... both of them have decent squad and relatively weak oponnents and no major injuries for players. Backing France isn't a good idea in general :unsure, but i hope this time they will not let me down. -
Re: Euro 2012 Qualifiers > 2-3 September Hey guys - I'm relatively new to the forum - giving betting another go after a highly unsuccessful first adventure. Just wanted to ask if you guys usually see any value in internationals? I usually try and avoid them (esp. Int. friendlies) as my already highly unimpressive winning ratio skydives when it comes to international football. I like the look of Germany -1 vs. Austria. I wouldn't touch England as they have let down alot of their fans and in my opinion are highly overrated. Might be tempted to take a cheeky punt on Bulgaria not to lose - what is their home record like?

Re: Blue Square Prem 29/30 Aug
damnnnSport Football (England - Non League) Event York - Alfreton Town Selection York -2 (Asian-handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 29/08/2011 Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 3.00 Reasoning Maybe york isn't the best team from the league but Alfreton is the worst, if you manage to lose 1-4 and 1-6 at home with not top teams, that make you wonder if you're in the right league; with a defense like that I don't see them resisting at York, I'll take the -2 ah, with a push if is only a two goal win, but I think it will be more. My tip 3 or 4-0. Good luck!

Re: England > Weekend > Premier League > 10-12 September What about Sunderland Chelsea? No one is mentioning this game. I wrote about it a few posts back... Cut the long story short - I won't be surprised if Sunderland nick a point or even 3 vs. Chelsea - backing them with double chance.
