Re: CL - Group stage draw, Monaco, 29. August My champions league qualifier bet; Man United, Juventus, Dortmund, Atletico to QUALIFY from their group. PSG, Chelsea, Barcelona to WIN their groups
-
Re: CL - Group stage draw, Monaco, 29. August Nice reasoning on the qualification bets. I think Atletico will surprise a few people in the UCL but I took them in a long multiplier simply to qualify (to be explained in my next post). Man United should win their group - Moyes' introduction to the UCL doesn't seem too difficult. Chelsea should easily win their group. PSG are the worry for me - I have them to win their group also, but their early form under Blanc in the French league has hardly been inspiring.

Re: Serie A - March 31 - April 1 Juve vs. Napoli Napoli double chance at 2.00 - bet365 Juve are too short in my opinion. Napoli know how to raise their game perfectly and are ideal in situations such as this - when they are the underdogs. Juve pushed by a home crowd should work into Napoli's gameplan. Napoli as a team are much better in this situation. Napoli haven't lost in their last 4 away games drawing vs. Milan and Udinese - both good teams and beating Fiorentina and Parma. Juve won 3 and draw 2 of last 5 home games. All this considered, medium stake of Napoli double chance. Forza Napoli

Re: Spain - La Liga - 14-15 January Osasuna to keep a clean sheet - very strong home team vs. a weak travelling team.
-
Re: Spain - La Liga - 7-8 January Granada with a decent handicap look a good bet (+3 AH at 2.00). Real Madrid always start the season alittle sloppily - the Malaga game is an example of that. Granada are a good defensive team who play well against the big sides - only losing 1-0 to barca despite going down to 9 men. I expect Real to win but at such short odds and taking into account their form after the xmas break there is definitely value in Granada.

Re: England > Boxing Day > Barclays Premier League > 26-27 December
I was talking about last 7 games.Evertons away form is 3 wins and 4 losses! -
Re: England > Boxing Day > Barclays Premier League > 26-27 December
Sunderland under MON look to be a better team - they managed to beat QPR last game with a morale boosting 3-2 win, even if they let a 2-0 lead slip. Out of their last 5 games, they've lost only 1, winning 1 and drawing 3. Everton's away form is 2 wins and 3 losses. THeir goalscoring problems is well documented. Given Sunderland's recent positive momentum I'd take them to win or Draw No bet - as a likelier possibility. That's great but can you tell us why? http://forum.punterslounge.com/f6/uk-irish-football-forum-rules-69588/ -
Re: England > Boxing Day > Barclays Premier League > 26-27 December Sunderland look good value.
-
Re: England > Weekend > Barclays Premier League > 10-12 December Will definitely look at QPR on double chance or with a handicap given Liverpool's terrible form against weak teams at home.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December
Haha:clap:clap go on son! I will follow you I thinkIf something absurd happens like inexisting penalty kicks for Villareal, absurd bookings etc... then think of Uefa and also think that we will detsroy the Madrigal. -
Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December
First of all Zlatan I'd like to say thank you - you seem to be a brilliant analyst of Serie A football and I've followed you a few times (considering it again for the Lazio - Novara game but Novara's poor away form is making me reconsider. I'm just askig what do you mean by this post? Are you confident in Napoli's actual football or the politics behind what Napoli winning would mean?I'm asking myself...... Has Napoli disputed a good CL till now? My answer is YES. Has Villareal disputed a good CL till now? My answer is NO. I'm asking myself...... Is UEFA corrupted? My answer is F.U.C.K. YEA. Does Man City owner have lots of cash? My answer is F.U.C.K. YEA. What often happens in Italy often happens in other parts of the world. The only reason why it is UNDERLINED when Italians do it is because, and I have to admit (although I'm Italian), is because Italians do it better. This game symbolizes Napoli ruining Uefa's plans. I think we should all play Napoli because this game is not a SPORTS EVENT but a fight for democracy, honesty, a people's victory. Weather your English, Russian, Italian, Spanish, German, etc.., all united for Napoli's victory and UEFA's defeat. It's not a racial issue. The issue is that Platini & Blatter are two sobs.... I'm confident Napoli can get the job done! -
Re: Spain - La Liga - 3-5 December
The worrying thing about backing Grenada is their lack of goals' date='5 all season is the worst record in the league.[/quote'] Hence why unders is a good option -
Re: Italy - Serie A - 2-5 December
No. Luis Enrique didn't include him in the team squad as he had a fight with Lamela. Banished for this game.Osvaldo wont play for Roma ??? -
Re: UEFA Champions League > Wednesday 7th December I too think City should win this. We are all taking into consideration the Bayern Munich of a few weeks ago - post Napoli we havew seen their dependance on Schweinsteiger. They are not in good form - their 4-1 win over Bremen was flattering. Before that were 2 losses. Given that City need to win to have any chance of qualifying I will be taking them over a Munich team that has lost its spine and whose form has taken a nosedive since Schweini's injury

Re: Spain - La Liga - 26-28 November
Yeah. I think if RM are drawing at half-time I have a good chance. If not it's obviously dead. Maybe when RM play away from home it will be more tight and likely' date=' though Barcelona are always playing at home in reverse (both are so strong at home) so perhaps I need to look in other leagues for a favourite who's away from home who will win the game in the 2nd half, hmmmm[/quote'] Unlucky dude! Really wished you won it (as a fellow better) but happy Barca lost as I support Real Madrid. On another note - it's great to meet another person on this forum who is from Malta. Good luck in all your future bets! Let's all try and copy that Maltese guy who won 600,000 euro from 1 euro -
Re: Spain - La Liga - 26-28 November
Good luck - Unlikely in my eyes as Real Madrid have always tarted every game very strongly and the intention has been to have the games won as soon as possible - recent examples are dinamo just this week (4-0) before half time.I have done a £20 double on draw HT and RM/Barca FT - £20 fetches about £500. It just needs to stay tight in the 1st half or a high scoring draw and RM and Barcelona win in the 2nd half. What normally happens though is RM and Barca blitz the other team in the first half. You think it's possible? -
Re: Iran - Pro League 2011 Thread
Copying you on this alsoEsteghlal vs Shahin Bushehr Very unbalanced game here as the home side are the leaders while the guests are 10th in tables. But the game should be one of a real fight with home side trying to beat the away defensive. Shahin team is tight, has many under 2.5 games. Estaghlal are solid in the back and not the best in attack. They have maturity and that is why they win games. Expect a game with not many goals. under 2.5 goals @ 1.85 with Victor Chandler -
Re: COLOMBIA Liga Postobon 2011 Thread
Thank you copied you on this. Just as a suggestion - maybe you could write a confidence rating in how confident you are of the bet - only saying as you post ALOT and I'm sure I'm not the only one to say THANK YOU but sometimes I don't know which to follow you on haha. Too much choiceJunior vs Deportivo Cali Home side are very good at home having just 1 defeat. Ok, they have 4 draws, but also 3 wins. Cali has just 5 goals scored away, 12 conceded, 2 wins and 1 draws in 8 games. Expect a game in which Atletico Junior should win for claiming the first place held now by Ditaires. home win @ 1.93 with Canbet -
Re: England: Premier Nov 26-27
If the game finishes 2-0 wouldn't the second part of my bet - the -1.5 line be returned and not won? Thanks though - I think I am grasping the conceptBasically a -1, -1.5 line means that you are placing half your stake on -1 and the other half on -1.5, so almost treat it as 2 seperate bets. For example, say arsenal win 1-0, half your stake will be returned the other half will lose However if the game is 2-0 both your whole bet is a winner you'll often see people writing it as -1.25 AH on here -
Re: England: Premier Nov 26-27 Hello could someone help me out? I've just switched from Bwin (who used European Handicaps) to bet365 who use Asian handicaps - could someone please explain the difference - In the Arsenal vs. Fulham game, the asian handicap -1,-1.5 is at 2.07 - what does this mean? I am used to a single handicap due to my bet 365 history. From my understand Arsenal need to win by 2 goals or more to win my stake and if they were to win by 1 goal my stake would be refunded. I think I have only explained a -1 Asian Handicap - that I understand (I think :\ ) but I don't understand the -1.5 line which seems to be combined with the -1handicap I am most likely wrong and would love someone to explain it to me please :)

Re: Spain - La Liga - 26-28 November I will definitely look into taking Real Madrid over Atetico with some form of handicap given their current form and great history vs. Atletico. AN interesting bet is an early goal - this fixture has a history of early goals and I will look into it.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 22nd November United vs. Benfica - I can see another 1-0 win for United - both teams are relatively comfortable on 8 points each and United (attacking wise) have not been in great form since the 6-1 loss to City - defence has been the emphasis (classic argument that strikers win games, defences win trophies) and Fergie will be happy with another 1-0 win. Will also consider taking unders Manchester City and Napoli - both teams to score is interesting. Lyon - Amsterdam over - for reasons stated above - current form for both teams indicates an over game and they both have alot to play for as it is between them for 2nd place. Either over or both teams to score.
-
Re: Spain - La Liga - 19-21 November Granada vs. Mallorca - under - both are low scoring teams and it wouldn't surprise me to see a 0-0 draw here
-
Re: Italy - Serie A, 29-30th October
Can't believe he missed a penaltyFrom everyone's recommendations I am also taking Parma to win vs. Cesena. I will also have a small punt on Giovinco as anytime score at odds of 2.8 to one - he is their top scorer and penalty taker and everything good of Parma passes through him.

Re: La Liga > November 29th - December 1st Bilbao have a good record vs. Barcelona in their home (only losing 1 out of the last 4 with the other 3 being draw). Barcelona missing Valdez, Messi, Alba and Alves - possible to put a stake on bilbao double chance.
