  1. Re: Thanks to Baggy and PL Daft hand to bust on. Think I only played two hands wrongly and obviously they are the ones with the biggest pots as is always the case. The earlier one may of seen me bust quicker though.

  2. Re: Thanks to Baggy and PL Not alot of runners tonight, from updates I'm receiving if they go down to 9 tonight of (20). We will pick up blinds where they finish off tonight, won't be a big difference of that's the case in terms of levels but every little helps.

  3. Re: Thanks to Baggy and PL I got in last night with all intentions of posting up how I got on but then fell asleep lol. Haven't really played alot of poker and this is the biggest tournament Ive played. So was a little nervous to begin with but soon it was just any other tournament when I got into the groove, seemed to be quite alot of Stockton regulars playing and a few from Newcastle travelled to play it. So when I got Kings Utg four hands in and ended up to the flop with a four bet, I was surprised to of been called down on every street whilst he had bottom pair because it was his favourite hand. I was soon moved tables and I was glad as it looked like a difficult table. The next table was a bit easier, although am sure everyone at table thought I was the weak link but I held my own and was picking up chips, A9 was the hand I gained most chips from on a board 10 10 9 9 4 board, I got a cheap showdown as was raised on the turn and the guy had KK, wasn't sure if I raised he 're raises the river and puts me in a bit of a spot. That table then got broken up, I left it with 45k from the 25k and got moved to an even better table where a min raise and 3 callers meant I played Q4 out of the BB. Flop came J high. Everyone checked and turn brought a Q. The button 3/4 pot bets it on a rainbow board and I can't call pre to fold there. Surprisingly 2 others at table come along too. Thebriver brought a four and now again the button makes it 20k to go. I thought maybes a set or an Aq, Kq type. I call and he insta mucked. That hand put me Upto 70k and once again our table was split and I was on the move again back to where it started. The table some how had become tougher and I ended up card dead. The only situation of note really was a button raise, I 're raised from the SB with 10,10 and the BB comes over the top. Button and I fold and the BB had queens. Bagged up 37k, not the greatest but 18BB and I said to my girlfriend I think I would be happy with about 50K. The avg is 61k as of last night and I can imagine that was the busiest flight too with football tonight etc. So just a double up off being back in it.

  4. The seat I won from down Birmingham I am playing tomorrow, for the 25/25 in Stockton. After having trouble initially, that email u give me was spot on in getting it sorted. Hopefully I can do a Muttley and take it down, just a shame it's not an Omaha event.

  5. Re: Twisted Poker I believe winamax started it, remember seeing an article in pokerplsyer for the odds of getting a jackpot game. i played a few made a small profit, but seems to add to the no patience approach people have to poker. Zoom, Rush etc

  6. So ny local night club (dive) shut. They are no planning a reopen with it being labelled a sports bar down stairs and a poker room upstairs. However, my only knowledge of card rooms are the casinos in the big cities like Newcastle etc. Does anyone have any experience of a card room like this? I mean I am not expecting the games to be massive etc but it's bold that it's not just a "poker night" but having a whole room for it imo. Our local town has its fair share of good players, including some high rollers. All I meet on a regular basis at the casinos (30 mile away from where I live). So this being o n a doorstep maybe a good thing and our local neighbouring towns will bring players in. Potentially anyway and not having to make a 60 mile round trip will probably help my live game too. Especially against some of the local high rollers. Or am I get ting too excited about it , I mean it's never going to be dusk til dawn. I suppose the nearest thing I ca n compare it to is rileys but I only played one tournament

  7. Re: Pokerstars Hand History It's not too big a deal just if someone knew how to, want to know how early I fell asleep in the session etc more than anything because I have no idea when or how I managed to get upstairs and tidy up before going to bed, even worse with out having a drink. At least if i know when I sat out can work times out.

  8. Hand history on Stars I was wondering whether you can get hand to hand records of Stars for tournaments like you can on 888, iPoker and if so how, because so far been unable to do so. The reason I ask is I played a couple of tournaments last night MTT sngs, got chipped up early and some how tidily put my laptop away, went upstairs to sleep with no recollection how but managed to min cash in one of the two I played. So want to have a look at what point I did this and What If I had continued to play.

  9. Re: 20 min long blind levels? I played the pokerstars one a few times, was good tournament but prepare for long grind in tournament. I think I played a 150 man one finishing outside payouts but played for 4 hrs felt more like a good live tournament than an online tourney.
