Re: Spain v Italy > The Final > 1 July Bet : Chiellini to be shown a card @ 3.5 with Ladbrokes Chiellini back from injurie last game. He plays out wide with Bonnuci and Barzagli in the center of defence. In the Portugal match he had a lot of trouble on his flank and was passed on several occasions. He is not a very fast player, more of a classic - Premier League - center back, tall with great strength, so he have a lot of trouble against fast wingers ; specially with Italys backline playing a bit high during this tournament. He made a couple of bad, late tackles agaisnt portugal but lucky for him and Italy he didnt catch the passing player and didnt get punished. Tonight I see him having trouble with the smal and fast spanish players and his tough playing style will be a risk. He is also pretty tough in aireal battles, Corners both ways, and the odds on him are pretty good imo to get a card. Referee is Portugese, Pedro Proenca and he is not shy with the cards either. Other good card bets tonight are De Rossi @ 2.75++ and Montolivo, who been struggling with fatigue lately, and playing in an advanced role he should be good for a foul or two, stopping the spanish build up play when Italy losing posession @ around 3.75. Also Sergio Ramos @ 2.75 who been getting carded pretty much every game. Abate and Alba @ 3.75++ to 5 on Abate, who also had cramps last match and will do a lot of runing down the flanks, both of these will have a good h2h on their side of the pitch. Sergio Busquet is another good one, he could easily wind up in situations he have to make tactical fouls to prevent Counter build up in the center of the pitch for Italy + he likes to talk and get in arguments both with the opposition and the referees, which he got carded for against Portugal. All odds at the most standard/big bookies.

With Real M. taking 3 points versus Mallorca last night, pressure is on Barca to win, so the gap dont bigger between them. Betis will play with a mix lineup, and rest several of their starters, as they dont want to risk any injuries and suspensions ahead of the very important Sevilla derby next week. In midweek Barca will also play the first of two El Clasicos, in the cup, and they need a big win here for confidence and to send out a message to their rivals. Barcelona could have won big in this match anyhow, but under these circumstances - motivated home side, against unmotivated guest - the numbers could be even greater. Sowith only one team on the field - the best team in the world - the odds for a blowout represent value for me. -

But have now lost 4 out of the 5 last games. Two of them by big numbers 6-0 to Boston and 5-1 to Tampa bay. And their goalie I. Bryzgalov are in bad form. Pittsburgh are going the other way - up - now on points with Philadelphia, as they show no signs of missing Crosby to much, having scored 30 goals in the last 8 games. This is also the first comebacks from past heroes of the Penguins, Jagr and Talbot. Jagr turned down the Penguins and opted a move to their rivals and you can expect the crowd to be on fire, and help their team to punish the returning players and the visitor team. A point to prove here and I think it will go the hometeams way -

And coach Capuano critisiced some of his players after that saying some of them didnt work hard enough and being passengers. So the moral is in home team is questionable and their form is downhill and looks to continue that way when ambitious Calgary Flames come to town - on fire - with Jarome Iginla looking to get some points for the guests having scored 7 goals and 17 points in December. -

Swansea are 11th and QPR one place behind them with 2 points less. Swansea done really well at home so far, 4-3-1, 6th in the league, with a impressive defense, 2 conceded and 10 goals scored. Neil Taylor and Nathan Dyer are slight doubts, and Rangel will return for the home team. QPR, have not looked to good on the pitch, and lost at home to Sunderland last time out, conceding 3 goals in the process. Helguson have impressed up front, but Taarabt have let a lot to be desired from him, specially attitude wise, and will most likely leave in January. But today he can start as Shaun Wright - Phillips is a doubt. Also they will miss A.Ferdinand, R.Hulse, and K. Dyer. For me its all about home advantage for the more solid team with better form. I hold Swansea as good favourites to beat a QPR that is very much a team in progress, with a lot of loose ends. -

Sport Football (England - Cham) Event Leicester - Ipswich Selection Ipswich +0.25 (Asian-handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 26/12/2011 Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 2.85 Reasoning Two teams that been playing under their potential with a lot of dissapointing results because of that. The home side are currently 11th in the league while the guests are sitting as low as 19th with a game in hand. There form have been rising, with 6 points in their last 2 matches. Leicester are still having problems and suffers from a weak form, last match they lost away to the team that is concidered the worst in the Championship - Doncaster. Both teams have been conceding goals and ofc both have a lot of attacking potential, as specially Ipswich have shown all season. There have been big swings thou in their matches with late comebacks, turnarounds - for both teams involved. So its hard to trust them. And with a tradition of goals in this fixture (4-2) last may. It was a hard decision to go for the over market or take a shot at unreliable guests. A few factors however, got me going with the in form team. 1. The home team get back there captain Matt Mill who prob will go str8 in middle of Def. at the same time as his partner Aleksandar Tunchev is ready to play after injury. The away side have back a trio of defenders Ivar Ingemarsson, Damien Delaney och Tommy Smith. 2. The away team have ofc better form and their attack looks a bit sharper as Leicester will have limited wide players for this one. Nugent ofc a big threat but Andrews and co look deadlier atm. That together with there two str8 wins and home teams weak form - even in this league where anything goes. Made me decide on the value of away team and not with the goal market which over 3 - over 3.5 was the option there. Also the h2h is very even. From 62 meetings Ipswich have a slight edge with 26 wins to the home sides 22. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope the value here payes off. GL! -

The Spurs have home adv. but at the same time its a derby, and anything can happen. AVBs been having trouble closing games, and Tottens defence conceding against very modest oppositions. If Chelsea win they will move ahead of Tottenham, with one more game played. But the most important thing here for both teams is not to lose. As tight as they are in the table I expect this game to be on the field. To close to call at either side, with smal margins probabely deciding, the mainn value for me is on the X. GL! -

They score a lot of goals, but they concede a lot to. Today they will be without Gonalons and Bastos while CB Lovren and attacker Jimmy Briand, who had a good game last time out, are doubtful, and there participation could be limited. Valenciennes havent lost in their last 19 home games. Recently they halted leaders Montpelliers unbeaten run here. CB Angoua is suspended. Lyon have not managed to take a win at this arena on their last 3 attempts. And Valenciennes home record with the fact that they need 3 points in this tight table, make these odds present value to me. There should be goals in this one, and concidering lyons defense and spaces that will come up for the home team I think they should get a couple at least and hopefully outscore there guests today. -

Genoa on the other hand have had difficulties under pressure at home, specially without Palacio, who will be missing, to create something forward. Also Kucka and Antonelli will miss, while Bovo is a very doubtfull to feature. Bologna played 2-2 with Milan at home, prior to that they held Juve to a draw in Turin in the cup, beat Siena at home, and drew away to Cagliari. After a slow start, despite som good away performances and results, they look to finally playing to their potential, Di Vaio supported by Diamanti and Ramirez will hurt Genoas weakened defence at every oppurtunity. Genoa have had trouble defending against fast breaks so far and I believe the guests will get their chances to get a good result here. -

Their home stats are bad and their away stats worse. They are bottom in the table and this is not the match to turn the tide. Bilbao, always a force at home, is adapting to Bielsas tactics and style, and have had some trouble. Llorentes absence have also effected them. Still they are getting better. A second string team did well to score to away at PSG in EL, and with the dissapointment of only getting a draw at home to Racing last time , they will look to resurect their home form. I dont think the main relegation candidates have much to hope for against a strong and motivated home team, with better quality. Aguirre might not survive past the holidays despite the vote of confidence from the president of the club. -

I think the money make some difference, PAOK, have looked great so far in EL. And with the state of their finances - country - and the size of the club. I belive they wont lose this one. The home side have been very effective, composed and enjoying the competition. At home for the fans, and the money (even if its a smal amount - its relatively...) I think value is on home side....imhoSlight question I'll ask for an opinion regarding PAOK V Rubin - Does finishing 1st really hold any precedence for either side? -

Udinese are second in the group with 8 points, atl.Madrid 1st with 10 points, and Celtic are third, 3 points behind Udinese. The italian side have been very impressive in Serie A so far, and there is no secret that EL is not their main priority and they have rested many of their first eleven players so far in the competition. Todays match is no exception and they will start pretty much with the same players that got the draw away to Celtic. The scotts seem more motivated in this competition but the result have not shown that. They will push today as a win will see them take over the second spot from Udinese on better H2H stats. Celtic will miss Loovens and a couple of other important players. Guidolin will certainly look to take advantage of their position, and go to the next round. And he will have the likes of Di Natale etc, to jump in if they fall behind. Udinese have tried to go thru without sacrifising to much from domestic league and their first eleven. A draw will be enough here. And as I dont see them winning against a very motivated - but, often un effective - Celtic side. I see the draw here as the most probable bet. -

They have looked very solid, and tight defensively. Going forward with the likes of Griezman, C.Vela and impressive youngster Imanol Agirretxe who scored 3 goals so far. At home they are a very tough side to beat. Granada didnt impress last year in the second division neither, in the awaytable they were only on 11th place with a -10 goal diff. , but they managed to get to playoffs thanks to their home form. Despite picking up 3 points at home v Villareal, im not impressed and consider them relegation favourites. Away at Malaga they lost 4-0 and I dont think they can resist Sociedads attack even tho they miss a couple of players. -

But if you look at the opposition they met its understandable, Barca away, Sevilla home, Bayern Munchen home, I think this have led to both low morale, confidence and difficulty finding a good rythm wich led to them lose away at newcomers Granada, in a game Rossi missed a penalty. Mallorca, have sold important players, among them J. De Guzman to Villareal. Depending on points at home to survive, yet I see them struggle hard this season. Their squad looks pretty lacklustre and Nunnes is still out injured. The islanders have to pretty much throw everything to defend and prey. Perfect game for Villareal to get back on track, with a strong unit, and a lot of offensive weapons that are just dying to pop off, this can be frustration unleashed, at worst a comfortable 2-0 win if Mallorca defend strong and have luck, imo. -

The spaniard is another great player who struggling in a slump lately, but who look to have hit some good form in prior to USO. H2H is 2-0 in favour of Verdasco 2010 and 2009, hardcourt. Tsonga is expected to get better and better ofc, but he is up and down, and his level of play is not always the same in a match. Verdasco got the motivation and experience to match up with Tsonga, and maybe, if he can play at his higher levels, he can even win. I expect an even match. Verdasco have the confidence with two good matches so far and also having beaten Tsonga twice. As an underdog I think he will enjoy this one even more so. -

His game is all about serve, and now when its working his a real pain in the ***, for most players. Dolgopolov have been a up and coming player the recent years, and he too have been in nice form lately. With some stronmg hitting and a relatively good serve, he have good potential as he is still young, but in order to develope he need to control his temper and not go "Safin". In USO he met two mediocer - for the surface - players in Gil, and Cipolla, and he struggled in both matches. Karlovic have been serving his opponents off the court so far, and agaisnt much stronger opposition as well. IMHO, only nerve can get Ivo not to take this match in three sets. If his serve goes from start, and the dont mess up the first set, im pretty sure with my knowledge from Dolgopolov, who lacks patience and coolness, he will self destruct. Its mentally tough to meet a guy who just put in aces, not to mention boring. I think Dolgos temper will get the best of him in this match up as Karlo is serving at his best. Thoes who dont like to riskt so much, can go with safer options on -1.5 sets @ around 2, or similar as one set can be lost in various unlucky fashions. In the first leg V.P played smart and confident. Rosenborg are in bad shape lately, with poor results, difficulty to score and overall poor morale. CL is very big for them and they will do everything to get thru here. But with the poor form and short of ideas, against a calm calculating home side, they will find it very hard. Panic, and frustration can come easily here if it gets tough and in combination with a low morale it could get dangerous for the away side. I can see a clear home win against a team that need to start over and do some serious changes to get back on right track -

However formwise they are struggling - after losing to in the European Q at home in midweek, they got beaten by Molde away in Tippeliga. the European Q, return leg and the tight schedule will see the them rotate a lot of players. Liverpool lost 3-0 to Galatasaray, in their last friendly, their team was much weaker tho then the one they taken to Norway. They have a lot of fans here and with better squad against in trouble hosts, this could be big numbers. -

Jarkko have certainly uped his form recently and looked good beating Melzer and Troicki in 2 sets. He beat Becker not so long ago in Metz comfortably and leads H2H on Hard 2-1 (total h2h 2-2). Becker have some fine results here on paper beating Verdasco, Zverev and Brands in str8 sets.However Verdasco is the only impressing win really and thats thank to the spaniards play mostly. Becker have been good on serve and thats his main strength. If Jarkko keep his serving going he will for sure fined break oppurtunitites as he is overall much better then his opponent. -

Sport Football (Sweden) Event Norrköping - Falkenberg Selection Norrköping -0.75 (Asian-handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 01/10/2010 Bookmaker/Price 188bet @ 1.93 Reasoning IMO bit of nerves and overconfidence led to Norrköpings recent slump but now they seem to have got themselves together and looking to put some distance between them and the rest. Strong result winning away to Örgryte 1-0 with a display of their usual strong defense and efficence in front of goal, like a real big team. They are the best team in the division and will have a very serious approach after the 0-3 loss to BOIS here. Falkenberg have been in great form with only 1 loss in 13 games but away they concede too many and are not that impressive. Home sides defense will be a big challenge for them and I dont expect them to keep a clean sheet. Skilled midfielder Christoffer Karlsson is suspended and will be a big blow for their passing game. In 6 meetings here they have not won once and only managed a draw here against the league leaders Norrköping. Home side still miss Khalili, Mwafulirwa and C. Tello is the only new abcentee. Bruno Santos and Bamberg will have to step up here and support Hassani as their are not much room for error left so close to the end of the season. I expect an pretty comfortable home win for the superior league leadors Norrköping.
