Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 What a comeback from the canberra raiders! Down by 13 at halftime they managed to comeback and win it by 15. I threw my 13+ ticket away at halftime but i will go and retrieve it from the rubbish now!

Re: A-league Round 2 Geez, i might stick clear of the a-league for a few weeks and wait to see what happens after that 3-3 result

Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 BULLDOGS(puppies) vs EELS What can i say about the puppies another than they are an absolute joke! If i called the tigers defence last week under 10's the bulldogs must be the under 5's special needs children! Even if the line was set at -60.5 i would still take the eels just because i will not put my money anywhere near a sinking ship! Even with bad sydney weather looming im tipping the eels to massacre the hapless dogs MY TIP: EELS -19.5

Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 TIGERS(pussycats) vs MANLY Boy did the tigers make a fool of me last weekend! They were shocking vs the panthers last week making a number of schoolboy errors and defending like the cambletown under 10's team. Infact i think its a fair comment to say they played more like pussycats than tigers! Manly have lost 2 straight now and god only knows how they blew there game last sunday vs rabbitohs. They just seemed to switch off in the last 20 minutes and imo blew there chance for the minor preimership.3 stats for this game i would like to share. *The Tigers have won their last 2 matches at ANZ Stadium. They have not won 3 consecutive matches at ANZ Stadium since rd 15 2006 *Manly has not lost 3 consecutive regular season matches since rd 17 2006 *Manly has lost their last 3 matches at ANZ Stadium I think manly will put pay to that last stat this game, with wet weather expected im tipping Des Hasler will have the boys pumped up for this one putting an end to the tigers 2008 season MY TIP: MANLY -6.5 Head to Head Record

Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 Of to another flyer!!! 0/2 :sad I think ive got the solution!!!!! whatever i say back the opposite!!!!!!! Agree about the tigers game and the newcastle game. Manly should cover the start and the cowboys shouldnt lose by more than 12.

Re: A-league Round 2 PERTH vs NEWCASTLE MY TIP: UNDER 2.5

Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 Broncos vs Titans Well then after confusing myself before, i have made up my mind big time in this game! The broncos are going to be to big to strong for the Titans i think with the return of all there big guns Hunt,Hodges,Carroll. Theres 2 stats for this game that i would also like to share *The Broncos have not lost 3 consecutive matches since rd23 2007 *The Titans have not won 2 consecutive away games since rd 5 2007 I just do not think that the Titans have enough firepower to even get close for this one and i think Lockyer & co will be primed for a big game come this friday night. My tip: Broncos -11.5

Re: 2008 Olympic Games I have had 4 bets tonight in a all up parlay. *Womens Soccer Germany (NT) I watched both the german and japan girls play last match and i am of the strongest opinion that the japan girls just do not have the class of the germans. *Womens Soccer Brazil (GOLD MEDAL) Again i watched both these teams play last start and let me just tell you this Brazil are going to be next to impossible to stop as they just have to much attacking flair for the USA. *Womens 1500m JAMAL(GOLD MEDAL) *Mens Hockey AUSTRALIA to beat Spain in (NT)

Re: A-league Round 2 Like at the start of last year the a-league teams struggle to score goals early on so i think this trend will continue this weekend. I'm going to back the Under 2.5 in every game this weekend as i did last weekend and i suggest everyone else does the same. Also might be worth backing the draw in every game as i think you would come out on top.

Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 SHARKS vs ROOSTERS This game promises to be a cracker with these two teams boasting the likes of Gallen,Bird,Kimmorley,Anasta,O'meley,Mason,Tupou. No doubt this game will be played with a semi-final intensity as a top four spot is up for grabs. Taking a look at the two teams you would have to say they match up quite well with a few interesting contest *Mason vs Gallen *Tupou vs Bird *Anasta vs Kimmorley And here are 2 stats im adding *The Roosters have never lost 3 consecutive matches under Brad Fittler *The last 3 matches between the two sides at Toyota stadium have been decided by 6 points or less I realy think the roosters hold a hidden x-factor in there bench with the likes of Myles,Sa & the Paea brothers up agaisnt Nutley,Millington,Peek,Seu seu. Myles and Sa are both internationals and this cannot be overlooked as they will both have a heavy impact of the bench. If the chooks forwards can contain Gallen & Bird i think they can get this one but not buy to many My tip: ROOSTERS 1-12/SHARKS to score 11-20/ A little saver on draw.

Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 After my worst week ever i hope to get back to picking winners. I like the look of the chooks on friday night with the return of Fitzy & Myles. We all knowhe sharkies struggle to score points at the best of times and as a punter that realy worries me. Still early days so i wont lock this one in yet and might also have a punt on sharks to score 11-20 points. There are also a few games this weekend that im realy not sure about the first one been the Broncos vs Titans. At first glance i thought 11.5 may be to much start with Scotty Prince back, but then i look again and the broncos have the talent in there team to win by 30! The second game im not sure about is the Tigers/Manly game. Scott Sattler on NRL on FOX tipped the tigers pointing out that manly struggle to stop teams that spread the ball early and we all no the tigers will do that so im a bit dodgy either way although you make some good points Big Bets. The third game i'm a bit dodgy about s the kinights/Cowboys game with cowboys getting 11.5 start. Again at first glance like the titans game i think 11.5 is to much with Jonathon Thurston back but who knows.

Re: Nrl Round 23 (Aug:15th-18th)
:ok:ok:ok:ok:ok:ok:ok:ok:ok:ok:ok NICE WORK CHAMP :clap:clap:clapShowers are looming .... ideal weather for slippery Eels :ok Parramatta win by over 6.5 points Parramatta found form last week to beat the Roosters and now they can't afford to slip up here with the Tigers if they want a top 8 spot. As for the Tigers they have put in some good performances but for some reason, tend to struggle to beat the Eels, and now with their season on the line, things don't get any better. They have several players out and with their smallish forwards now without Payton, they will find it even holder to hold the Eels pack back. The Eels have won the past seven encounters straight and hold a 6-2 advantage at Parramatta Stadium. Look to Mateo to continue his dominance over the Tigers -
Re: Nrl Round 23 (Aug:15th-18th) GREAT WEEK FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!! 2/8:sad I COULDNT EVEN GET LAID IN A BROTHEL WITH A FIST FULL OF $50 NOTES AT THE MOMENT!!!!! THIS NRL SEASON SURE HAS BEEN INTERESTING TO SAY THE LEAST :$

Re: Nrl Round 23 (Aug:15th-18th)
Nice tips champ :okMelbourne win by 19+ margin The Storm were very impressive in beating the Sea Eagles last week while the Roosters continued their inconsistent play of late by losing to the Eels. Look for great battle between the forwards but the Storm are starting to step up a gear in the run for the finals and i like they way their pack is playing. As for the backs, it is hard to defend agaisnt the likes of Slater, Folau and Inglis when your forwards give you the go forward you need. At home, in Melbourne, the Storm to win easily. St George / Illawarra win by 1-12 margin The Dragons get Ryles back in this big game for them as they look to hold onto a top 8 finish. While they have the forwards to match it with the Broncos, it is the backline with especially Cooper and Gasnier out there, they could cause alot of havoc to their opposite and inexperienced centres. Without Hunt and Hodges, the backs look weak and the Draongs should exploit this. Also in their favour is their recent head to head record, as the Dragons have won the past 6 clashes as well as 4 of the last 5 at Suncorp. Upset is on the cards. -
Re: Nrl Round 23 (Aug:15th-18th) Where have all the rleague tipsters gone????? Its like a ghost town in this forum! ANYONE?

Re: Nrl Round 23 Storm vs Roosters I think having all these ex bulldogs players at the roosters has bought the dogs curse with them. Just who is the real roosters side? The roosters of war that beat teams like storm/manly? Or the imposters that lose to titans/eels? I just can't seem to get my head around it. I will take a guess and say the real roosters will turn up this week but still i don't think that will be enough vs a champion Storm outfit. My tip: STORM 1-12

Re: Nrl Round 23 Brisbane vs Dragons The dragons looked deadset good things to qualify for the top 8 this year a few weeks back, now they look a bit shaky after 3 consecutive losses. Although the broncos lost last start they are warming to the task nicely and imo along with manly are the only real threats to the storm for the 2008 grand final. Lockyer is showing signs hes getting back to his best form and that along with no Jamie Soward spells trouble for the dragons this week. I think saints good record vs brisbane will work agaisnt them as the broncos will talk about it at training all week and will be keen to put a stop to it. With all that in mind i think the broncos will be to good for the dragons this week. My tip: Broncos13+/-6.5

Re: Nrl Round 23 Parra vs Tigers I think the tigers are the best bet of the week @ 2.05 this week in the battle of the west. Although the eels won last start vs roosters i don't see them winning again as consistency has just not been there all season, so why would anything change this week. The tigers are building nicely for the finals but if they lose here they would not only lose momentum, they would make it very hard for themselves to qualify for the top 8 this year. I made the mistake tipping agaisn't them last start and bagging west defence, they proved me wrong and if they can put one of those defensive efforts in this week they will get the cash easily vs a pissweak parra outfit. My tip : TIGERS HD2HD/TIGERS 13+

Re: NRL Round 22 - August 8 - 11 Ive just got this funny feeling that the titans will get up tonight. With a big game from laffranchi and minicheillo they can be very competitive. Titans 1-12

Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 PANTHERS vs STORM This game on paper looks a one way affair but im not to sure about it. Let me just start this review with 3 stats for this game *Penrith have won their last 2 home games. They have not won 3 consecutive matches at CUA Stadium since rd 21 2006 *Penrith have won their last 2 and 4 of the 6 matches against the Storm at CUA Stadium *The Storm have not won 4 consecutive matches since rd 9. Storm were very impressive last start vs the sydney roosters totaly outclassing ther opposition in all aspects of the game and proving why they truly are the number 1 team. The panthers played the puppydogs last start and gave them a thrashing but we all no the doggies are not realy the best form guide. However 2 weeks ago panthers were smashed 74-12 by the raiders so that is a bit of a worry for them. Its do or die time for the panthers and they would need to play at 100% and have everything go there way to beat this very professional storm outfit. I don't see that happening, but i do see this one been closer than everyone thinks MY TIP: MELBOURNE 1-12 @ 3.10
