Re: Goliath 2014 Sorry for late update. Went out in level 9 in the end. I was dealt 44 on the button. MP min raised and SB called so I called. Flop came 4 9 J with 2 spades. SB bet out. He was a good solid player. I raised it up a fair chunk and mid position re-raised all in. MP was playing loose and i put him on maybe 9J. SB folded he had AJ so he told me after. I called. MP had 99 so had bigger set. That took most chips away gambled a few hands later with Q9 and same player had 99 again and took me out.

Re: Watcha playing Wednesday? After playing the Goliath the other day I got the buss back. Cant remember the last time I played online but thought I would tonight. So I will play the pants on paddy.

Its a fair point Jase but we know that clubs will find a way if needed.I think what makes this competition interesting is the rules around putting out weaker teams etc. I think that makes it more uncertain as sides have to put out the nucleus of a good side. Otherwise they'd all play the reserves. -
Re: Johnstone's Paint Trophy 3/4 Sept Nice warning Wolf. Such a hard competition to predict with some teams playing reserve and youth players. You def need team news before betting.

Sorry Helen only just seen this. I am playing on Thursday.I'm bought in for day 1A so making the trip down to Cov for the day tomorrow :ok Hoping it's not full of people with deep pockets there for the week prepared to treat it like a 4-day/8-rebuy tournament. Staffy, are you going? Anybody else from PL at all? If we want to make a team up (2-6 people) I think it has to be entered before start time tomorrow. -
