Hi all, Played my second and third game last night (on Paradise) 3$ entries, finished 121st from 149 in the first game and 43rd from 150+ (i think) in the next game, I got down to 115 chips at one point but 10 mins later i was up to 9700, I've still alot to learn. A couple of things i'm not sure about.... Flush In the event of two ace flushes turning up, how is the winner decided? Does it go to the best second or even third card etc or does the money get split equally? Does the caller lose even? Seating Is there an advantage to be had when sitting in a certain position to the dealer? Would i be right in saying there could be an advantage if you are furthest away from the dealer? Any help appreciated :ok

    Re: Punters 'PAY IN MAY' System Bet 65: Chelsea 1/14, Ipswich 5/6, Hull 9/4, Scunthorpe 7/2, Barnet 1/8 Max return possible = 130.77 Bet 66: Chelsea 1/14, Sunderland 3/1, Luton 6/5, Yeovil 4/5, Barnet 1/8 Max return possible = 76.64 I've got four more bets to go and then i'm going to start going for 2 x 5.00 accumulators only each week, i'll probably do 10 repeat bets from then on too and that will take me to a final total of 80 bets.... 400.00 total staked. Anyway if you're reading i could do with some opinions.... If somebody gave you a free 5.00 Accy on these five leagues who would you back? Who's going to win these leagues? I beleive i'm playing for damage limitation now :sad

    Re: Next PL Game I really enjoyed my first internet poker game last night, apologies though for not having to much to say as i'm still tryin to learn. If you dont mind an amateur at the table (of course you dont):lol then i'm up for more of it. I beleive that internet poker is getting bigger by the day and it would'nt suprise me if i ended up dropping some/most of my football bets to play more of it. As i said i really enjoyed last night and although going out 22nd i was happy with some of my play before i made a couple of costly mistakes. At one brief point i think i had 2,410 chips and was second at the table :nana then Jezza (i think) hit me hard and it was over shortly afterwards :( As its only twice every month(?) I've been given the green light to play when it suits me so whatever dates, i'll be in :ok

    Re: Punters 'PAY IN MAY' System Cheers Danny, Yes i have been thinking along those lines, i was thinking of starting in mid November and with a different staking plan, its been said a couple of times that i have to much on the accy, maybe i have, i dont know but i had hoped that i could catch one early enough to make it pay nicely, admittedley it looks unlikely now but next season who knows. I was thinking next season of starting Mid November, 10 x 0.10 trebles, 5 x 0.20 four timers and a 2.00 accy, total stake of 4.00 per bet but having 3 weekly bets instead of two, total of 12.00 per week. We shall see when i analyse at the end of the season, i will also have more bookmakers to take better prices from next season too.

    Re: Punters 'PAY IN MAY' System I can only get one accy up Chris' but i may have repeat bets soon. I was hoping to get an accy up before the odds shortened to what they are now, profit looks unlikely now though, especially as Chelsea and Barnet look certainties at 1/9 and 1/7. Every bet has cost me 5.00 so i've staked 300.00 so far, i will probably have somewhere around 75 - 80 bets so total staked will be 350.00 - 400.00. Any accy that returns under that i will have to repeat maybe more than once. If i dont get an accy up i can expect a big loss, if i do get one up then singles, doubles, trebles and one or two four timers will help top it up, albeit by a very small amount. This bet could be my best hope now.. Bet 47: Chelsea 4/7, Sunderland 10/3, Hull 10/3, Yeovil 10/3, Barnet 4/6 Max return possible = 548.32 I'm going to keep going with it though to see if there is anything i can learn from it for next season though, ie giving it a big miss :lol

Realised tonight that i havent been including any returned stakes to the max returns possible from Bet365 bets either. I'll keep it like that and adjust at the end of the season. I'm changing the staking again from bet 61 onwards, i'm now dropping trebles so staking will be 5 x 0.40 four timers and a 3.00 Accumulator. Total stake remains at 5.00 per bet.
